I am writing this review praying I never have to use their services again but highly recommend AEG in Brea for anything you might need. When it absolutely has to get done right, you need Kevin and his team's help. They know their stuff. They helped me when things looked incredibly bleak. I could count on them to do the work and their assessment was accurate which is what you NEED. They did a great job. In terms of value? They took care of me. However, any of this mitigation stuff is not within my budget normally so I'm not sure how to answer that. Just praying I never go through this kind of thing again, but would definitely call Kevin Bocanegra at Alliance god forbid something does. HIGHLY RECOMMEND. read more

Hired these guys for a duct blowout/clean even though they were 3x the price of everyone else because they guaranteed white glove immaculate service. I even specifically told them we just repainted the entire inside of the house after a remodel and I wanted to hire a company that would take care of our home while working in it. The supervisor reassured me that that would be the case. The quote was $2700 whereas all others were sub-1000, so I thought they would honor their word. The guys that showed up were super nice and after going over all the vents, I left. I did notice that their hepa vac was dirty, but hoped that was just the machine...I should have trusted my gut. When I returned, there were a tons of marks all over our walls and baseboards. The managed to scuff up almost every room in the house. I then decided to check for their cleaning diligence and EVERYTHING SINGLE vent still had dirt remaining in it. I included some example photos and a video, but there were WAY more. I had my painter come by and asked him how much it would be to touch up all the marks and he told me about 2k. I emailed them all of the pictures and videos and told them the service was not up to par AND they messed up so many walls that it would cost me a lot of money to fix all their damage. In response they sent me the report which had pictures of before and afters that showed some ducts cleaner, and said they completed the service they were contracted for. I talked to the manager and told him my vents are still dirty, but now I have damaged walls all over the house I have to touch up, so I told them it would be fair to just keep my deposit. After all that, all they were willing to do is discount 50%. I didn't want to fight with them so I just agreed to the balance. I do acknowledge that the ducts were dirtier before they came, but they weren't cleaned well for what was promised and at that price. So in the end, I still paid way more than any other company quoted for a MEDIOCRE cleaning job, and now will be out significantly more money when the painter comes back to touch up their damage. The services were for mold and asbestos removal. Scope of work involved removing large portions of drywall, and decontaminating all areas inside a containment with a negative air machine. If you've been in my shoes, you already know what type of chaos and hardship is involved in dealing with this kind of work as a result of a flood. You can take comfort in knowing the team that came over to my house did some of the cleanest work I've ever seen. I've been in this field of work long ago, and after everyone cleared out I went inside the containment to check things out(not recommended without experience). The containment they built was so good it looked like the government sent a team from homeland security. Everything was spotless. All communications with regards to responsiveness from the company has been A+. I am perplexed to find that this company does not have 5 stars. My only problem now is finding other people to complete my finish work with same standard, I will need some luck. read more

We've had a lot of experience with contractors during various projects and it was refreshing to see a crew take their and our safety into consideration during every phase of this demo. They showed up at least 10 minutes early each day and went the extra mile on everything we asked of them. No problems with the service provided. They came out as scheduled and removed the lead tiles. My insurance company paid and all is good! It took 1.5 days to complete the job. I'm happy. Unfortunately, I had to deduct 1 star because they put a portable outhouse on my front lawn and did not remove it soon after completion. The job was completed on a Thursday and I was told it would be picked up Friday. Still there at 5:00 Friday. Now I'm told Saturday morning. No problem, I can live with Saturday morning. 3:00 Saturday afternoon it's still there. I contacted the project manager and he says "sorry, it looks like Monday". No one calls me. I have to keep calling them. What's up with that? I don't need my HOA getting on my case. I don't need a dead square on my front lawn. Heck, why was it put on the lawn in the first place? read more

...I won't lie, I came here to write a review and was legit surprised to see there were any negative reviews based on my experience... I suspected there might be asbestos in our house but had a pretty tight move-in deadline so I sent out for a few quotes (which was likely going to be pretty rough without them seeing it). Alliance got me a quote quickly and, surprisingly enough, they were lower than the others. I had Alex come by to do a walkthrough and provide an actual quote for the work and he actually came in under the amount he quoted on the phone (which was a nice surprise). When the asbestos was confirmed, they were already ready to go. The work itself was actually really good (even had a contractor buddy who was giving me help with something else mention what a great job they did). I've seen pictures of what houses can be left like afterwards (holes in drywall from using the wrong tape, etc) and there was none of that. Anyone who's spent any time reading reviews of asbestos abatement companies has probably read the horror stories in the yelp reviews. The roof doesn't appear to have any remnants, no damage to the house or drywall, and it passed the asbestos test afterwards (I got a third party company to test for it). They did a great job and I was very impressed. One thing I wanted to add though, Alex has been responded via text to pretty much any question I've had (related to timing, pricing, recommendations over the course of the project, even some after removal recommendations). They weren't able to get a lockbox to the site in Oxnard in time (it was pretty short notice in the booking) so he drove to where I work in Thousand Oaks to pickup the key so I didn't need to work from home that day. I'm not exaggerating when I say this isn't just the best customer service I've received in a while . . . it's possibly the best customer service I've ever had, and that's saying something! I almost hate to sound over the top on a single company because it sounds made up. I just know that since I've bought a house, I've worked with general inspectors, chimney inspectors, termite companies, locksmiths, realtors, loan companies, etc and I can honestly say that this is the only company I didn't have at least a few complaints with. So yeah, I can't speak to previous reviews but I can say that my own experience was very positive and if you guys are working with Alex, you're in good hands. Hope this helps! read more

This is the worst company ever. We hired them to remove asbestos from a pipe. They DESTROYED our roof in the process. They told us we could replace the pipe ourself and install it, it would be that simple and easy. That was lie. To repair the damage they did it cost us $1,000 to get a handyman out and fix the damages they did. It was a horrible job. Not only did they do damage to our house, but they left our roof looking like they robbed us. It was an ugly job and incredibly messy. When I contacted them about the damages that were done and reimbursing us for the cost that we had in order to fix THEIR mess, it took them 2 months to make the situation right. And they refused to do the right thing. Do NOT use this company. I have also contacted better business bureau. read more

Incredible Customer Service. We called Alliance to get some asbestos abatement done. Michael Alper came out the next day. Answered all of our questions and gave us an estimate on the spot (which was $800 cheaper than the other company we called). He was very professional and responded to all of our emails and calls promptly, even reaching out to check in himself several times. We ended up not needing to get any abatement done after our initial asbestos test came back negative. But, they were super understanding and even gave us advice about what to do next. 100% recommend. read more

We had a good experience with these guys. Alex in particular was very helpful and responsive to all texts and calls. We got a quote right away and they did the job well. They were also the most affordable price of 3 company's we checked out. Our asbestos ceiling and lead tiles were removed and we were left with a great clean slate to remodel our home. Task Needed: Asbestos Removal. Got a good estimate and had a good feeling that the job would be efficient and no stress. After the removal and told everything was done, I went to see the house. There were areas that were not scraped, and bits of the ceiling were on the floor in areas that were not being scraped. Puzzled, I called the company to straighten things up. They came back and took more days than scheduled until everything was cleaned up. Also, by miscommunication the credit card was charged before the job was complete. Called company again to ask some questions, but the billing dept had nothing to do with me because it was done already. Finally, I do not mind the workers using the house bathroom, but if they could aim better and clean up after themselves, that would be nice. Two stars because I was confident that this company was going to take care of this job, but ended up being a bit bitter. read more

After a flood in my bedroom & bathroom, asbestos was found under the flooring. My insurance co. sent out Alliance & I am happy they did! First J. C. (Jerome) came out & was able to answer all my questions, explain what would be happening, etc. When the guys showed up there was a large team that all seemed to work hard & efficiently. They were all professional & got the job done quickly. Had to make a follow-up call to get them back here to tear down plastic & blower, & there was a few staples left in wall, but other than that everything was perfect. They were recommended to me by my buying agent in regards to removing a few known asbestos pipes in the house, since we were going to replace the HVAC. Mike Kupke came over from Alliance, gave us a fair quote for the work. We ended up using them and they did a great job removing the few pieces that had been identified by the initial quote (some stuff under the house in the way of HVAC removal). The HVAC folks were happy with the work and that was all said and done. However a few weeks later we had a kitchen hood installed and when they went into the attic they found a 'box duct' (possibly transite duct), and were worried about it being asbestos, so couldn't cut into it for the kitchen hood. We called Alliance again, and worked out a deal for them to come out and remove this box duct. Likely it wasn't asbestos, but they helped us out (can't be too safe), and did a similarly good job removing the offending duct, for a good price considering. Would have been 5 stars if they had identified the duct in the beginning and been a bit more timely and proactive with this second work, although I will take some of the blame for that as well re communication delays. We are very very happy about the removal of the asbestos vinyl. Our contact Alex was very responsive and pretty helpful. These guys aren't like "Oh, yes but it's a lot of work" or "Yes we can do that but it will take long.", they are like "ok, we will take care of it". The work was estimated 5 days, they effectively work on it for 4 days. The concrete slab was looking really clean, no dust or mastic glue left. Very happy! read more

Jake has been exceptional to work with! Our team needed an asbestos remediation company for our client. We got quotes from a couple other companies, but we decided to move forward with Jake as he was able to get us a great deal. He consistently updated us with photos and progress on the project while we typically hear radio silence from other vendors. Do NOT use this company. They were not communicative, left serious damages to our house. After sending a request with an itemized receipt from our handyman, it still took them weeks and weeks to send us a check. They did not remove the asbestos in a way that seemed safe, not like you see in other pictures. These guys came in regular clothes, put the asbestos in trash bags and carried it through our house and out the front door. We were told by the company over the phone that they would be taking it through the roof as to not let asbestos get into our air filter in our house. That did not happen. They did in fact take pieces of our pipe and roof that they should have left though, leaving us with a handyman bill of close to a $1,000. They did not treat our house or our property with care. My wife is 8 months pregnant and we have 3 other young children and the fact that they left us with no communication, no AC and no hot water for almost a week was horrible. We kept texting and emailing and they would respond, but we would keep getting the run around about when they were going to fix the issue. I would pick a more honest company if I were you. Especially if you have young kids or are expecting. Safety should be a concern. Not only did they leave us high and dry for over a week with no hot water and air due to THEIR mistakes, but they insisted that we pay for the "work" they did on our house....work that ended up costing us close to $1,000 to fix. Ridiculous. Please, save yourself time, money and headache, go with a more reliable company. read more

Really appreciative to JC for his help. We had some water damage and seeking help on how best to resolve. Quick, informative, did not try to "sell us" on things we did not need. I have used Servpro in the past for a water damage claim though my insurance. I felt they were focused on billing as much as possible instead of taking a more aggressive yet less costly approach. Not very impressed...I had scheduled a 10 am call for today with one of the company estimators one week ago. I will leave out his name. Anyway, I contacted the company at 11 am asking where the individual is and they did not know. He quickly called me back, apologized, and basically said he forgot we had an appointment and was 3 hours away from my home. I asked why he did not call and he stated he did not have my number. I did not reschedule, nor will I reschedule, as the missed appointment is most likely an indicator of the quality of work to follow. Something tells me the negative reviews are because people likely often need this company during a loan process. Its an extra expense and the loan process is tedious enough as it is. But the laws are made by the state of CA and its not the environmental companies fault something is found. The eradication process is absurd imo but what to do? We had been referred to another company prior to Alliance and the price was almost double what Alliance did it for. And I think the other company was one guy out of his truck. He quoted me a price for cash as well. All I know was Alliance not only showed up and gave me a fair price for this type of work, but handled everything quickly and on a weekend since I own a school. Alex was super professional and I'm not sure how large this company is but it seemed very organized. Have already sent them work. Good people and they helped me out of a bad situation. read more

I should have known when they showed up and knocked over my mailbox when they pulled in front of my house. (no other cars around, just bad driving)... Once they made it into the house and before they closed off our kitchen and walkway through the house for 4.5 days (Not the 2 days we were told prior to the work starting) for abatement (no they won't have time to take down the plastic after it is done so you can be without a kitchen and have to walk outside your house to get to the other bedrooms for 2.5 more days..) Well before the above headaches, I asked the workers who showed up go over the scope of work they plan on doing and make sure all party's were clear on the scope of the work. When we went over the initial walk through we found there was a discrepancy as they did not have listed a cabinet that obviously had damage to it. I asked them to contact the company that contracted them to clear up any misunderstanding they said they would. I left multiple messages recording an update and never heard back. 4 days later and the work was not completed. Their clean up was very slopping and messy. They missed removing pieces of the flooring, staples were stuck in the wall and on the trim, many with plastic still on them, in the door trim, the ceiling and even left on the floor. They cut apart cabinets instead of unscrewing an outlet cover or removing an icemaker valve. The cleanup was awful. (see attached pictures) The workers saw my kids being contained to one room while this was going on, and yet, they left sharp shiny little staples laying on the floor where my 2 and 3 yr old kids could easily get to them. I spend several hours cleaning up after them and am still waiting for the job to be completed. This has been an extremely stressful time for my wife and I who was pregnant at the time and very well contributed to the early delivery of our now premature son who has been in the hospital for over a month. After my last phone conversation with them they said they would look into it and get back to me. Instead I receive a certified letter in the mail demanding the balance to be paid off. My insurance is covering the cost, All I have asked on multiple occasions is that they finish the job and then I would be happy to endorse the check. I am still waiting..... There are very few companies that seem to do this work for some reason, but none of them seem to have rave reviews. This company was recommended by our insurance company, and of the two companies that were recommended this was actually the better of the two. I needed some work done for some other issues that were not related to the flood we had so I figured I would take advantage that this company would be in my house already. Here is my experience: I believe that these types of companies predominantly deal with instances where insurance companies are paying the bills because the average person probably isn't going to pay the expensive charges these companies charge. Consequently, this company works for the insurance company and doesn't really give a damn about you. This is very evident in the quality of work that was done on the portions that I paid for directly. Where drywall was being cut out for the portions the insurance company paid for, the lines are nice and clean. The stuff that I paid to have cut out looks like a shark chewed its way through the ceiling. Be prepared that whatever time they tell you it will take to complete the work, bump that shit up at least a day because theses guys are going to lag. If you ask them about why it is taking longer, well you won't get much of an answer. In my case I was being charged $75 an hour for labor per man (which is a lot considering you are basically laying down plastic sheets and cutting drywall). The real reason it takes longer to do the job is that their guys have to clock in at 7AM at their Moorpark location, and evidently it can take up to 2 hours to drive over to your house which might be 10 miles away. Then you have to take at least an hour for lunch and then we have to drive back to clock out. So basically you might be looking at them doing 6 hours of actual work per day if you are lucky. I found the team to be rather slow to respond and eventually they just stopped bothering to pretend they cared. All in all I wouldn't recommend this company, but there aren't a lot of options out there. read more

I have asbestos need to be removed and call this company. Manny from Moore Park called me back very quick. Set up an appointment and showed on time. Manny is very professional and quoted very reasonable price. Sent his guys had the work done perfectly. I was very happy with Manny and his team. I also need to install new airduct and he referred his friend. His friend quoted good price also and done a great job. If you need hire somebody to remove your asbestos make sure call Manny. He is the guy deserve your trust. There is a company put their name in everywhere in Yahoo. I don't know him but you got to be careful. read more

Alliance Environmental Group was hired to remove the asbestos from our ceiling. In the process of doing so, they damaged our crown molding, wood paneling, hardwood floor and front door. They would not help us in any way to repair any of these damages. I would not recommend this company!!! read more

We needed an asbestos pipe and vent removed and they immediately came out for an estimate. Their price was a fraction of what our contractor quoted. I am so happy I called them. Zero stars. These jokers were hired to perform mold remediation in my property. Their estimator scheduled a start date with us. Of course no one showed up on that day. Then the run around and excuses started. Unresponsive to calls or email. When their guys finally did turn up the work they did was less than what had been agreed to. More arguing resulted in them coming back a week later, but the work was further delayed because they didn't have the right equipment with them which meant a day lost in driving back and forth to Moorpark. Two days of actual work took three weeks due to poor, sloppy, management. I would never recommend Alliance to anyone. read more

Your employees are callous and calculating. Denis Bealieu is the worst advertisement for your company that exists. If he were to come to my house there is a strong possibility I could murder him for his callousness. During the time that he worked on my house, he knew that my wife was undergoing Chemo treatments for terminal cancer. Even this little fat did nothing to help us mitigate the disaster he caused to happen. He caused us more heartache, money and any thing and everything that could go wrong with his work, did. He is a monster. We, my wife and I, were abused by Denis, not in the usual way seniors get abused, but he insidiously made our lives miserable for more than 6 months the like of which I've never been treated before. Our new house was a mess with all kinds of issues that had not been taken care of since I'm thinking the 60's! They were paid to remove asbestos from attic and they did that but I was bummed that the popcorn ceiling removal left white stuff on floors of the closets. Small amounts I swept up myself. I'm sure I am not going to be greatly impacted by what I swept up. They did what they were suppose to do and I would recommend but a 5 star rating is only reserved for flawless execution. read more
