I cannot recommend Aftermath Services enough. Save yourself some time and heartache and hire them!…read more My mother passed away in her home and wasn't found for several days. It was unexpected and quite tragic and when I got the news, I didn't know what to do. Aftermath was called in after I had hired another company who didn't do the whole job and I was stuck trying to figure out what to do. I had actually tried to do the job myself. I knew I had to get rid of all porous materials so I had a dumpster delivered. After spending only 15 minutes in the house wearing a paper suit, N95 mask and booties to cover my shoes, I knew I couldn't do this alone. I called Aftermath and they came out the very next day to evaluate the situation and started work the next day. They removed a large portion of biohazard material that the other company had completely missed, brought in a huge ozone machine to run the entire time that they worked in the home and helped empty the home of all porous materials. At one time they had 4 people working and at the end I was provided all documentation, lists of things that were thrown away, shown where the biohazard material was removed, and even shown time cards to see who was in the home and how long everyone worked. I'm a little less stressed now, there is still work to be done, but their job is finished and I couldn't be happier with the results. A sudden death of a family member is an incredibly tragic experience and Aftermath Services helped me so much. Additionally, they worked with my mom's homeowner insurance company so none of this cost me out of pocket (except for the dumpster which I didn't know that they would have provided).

WOW! WOW! WOW! ASAP Restoration and Construction is the real…read moredeal! If you're dealing with fire or water damage, do yourself a favor and do your research before hiring just anyone. We learned the hard way that many companies make big promises just to win your business. In our case, we had over $500,000 in fire and water damage, and it seemed like everyone else was more concerned about their profit margins than helping us. Some even tried to play games with the insurance company by requesting payment for items that weren't warranted. ASAP Restoration was completely different. They were honest, upfront, and transparent from day one. They took the time to review every budget, selection, and step of the process with us, making sure we understood everything along the way. The entire team is outstanding, and Josh, the owner, truly leads by example. He tells it like it is, doesn't overpromise, and works tirelessly to make sure things get done the right way. His communication is second to none,I'd much rather have someone who over-communicates than leaves me wondering what's happening. Our biggest delay wasn't ASAP at all, it was our mortgage company and lender taking their time to release funds. Throughout that entire process, Josh worked alongside us every step of the way, helping us navigate the challenges and keeping the project moving whenever possible. The finished product looks incredible, and looking back, the extra few weeks it took to get on their schedule was absolutely worth the wait. If you're looking for a restoration company that values honesty, quality, communication, and truly cares about its customers, I can't recommend ASAP Restoration and Construction enough. Thank you to Josh and the entire team for making a difficult situation so much easier!

What an industry! I was up north with my family for the weekend and came home to standing water…read morethroughout the first floor of my house. My first call was to a plumber for help. Before the plumber even arrived, three different restoration companies showed up at my door. The strange part? I never called any of them and nobody told me anyone was coming out. I did overhear one of the technicians I allowed in for a "free evaluation" on speakerphone with the plumber asking if a $2,000 finder's fee sounded reasonable. I kept my mouth shut but it definitely raised some red flags. I listened to all three companies separately and then decided to do some serious research online. While some companies have plenty of glowing Google reviews, once you start looking at other sources like Yelp, the Arizona ROC, and the BBB, the picture can look very different. Consider this a friendly warning to homeowners: do your homework. After digging deeper, I was fortunate to find ASAP Restoration. One thing that immediately stood out is that they do not work referral deals with plumbers, do not pay kickbacks, and do not play games with deductibles. They simply focus on doing the job correctly. The team was extremely professional. The mitigation/demo crew handled the water damage quickly and thoroughly, and the reconstruction team has been excellent. We're now about 90% finished with the rebuild and everything is coming together great. I just felt the need to share my experience before heading out for spring break. If you ever find yourself in a similar situation, take a breath, do your research, and call a company that focuses on integrity and quality work. For me, that company was ASAP Restoration.

I was referred to Gerber Collision in Tempe (Priest & University) by my insurance company. When I…read morearrived, the estimator came out, took a quick look at my car, and was extremely rude. He told me repairs would take at least two weeks -- though by my estimate, it should take no more than four or five days. When I asked if they could pre-order the parts to save time, he flat-out refused. His plan was to take my car in on a Friday, wait until Monday to order parts, wait another three days for them to arrive, and then finally start the work. My car would have sat there for an entire week untouched. He didn't seem to care about the customer's time or inconvenience -- it honestly felt like he was just trying to stack as many vehicles as possible to meet his monthly billing. Every time I asked about pre-ordering, he insisted it wasn't possible and claimed parts only take one day to arrive. He was abrupt, pushy, and rude. When I asked about a few white marks on my bumper -- just out of curiosity about what it might cost to fix -- he snapped back that it would be a "minimum of $1,700." (Keep reading to find out what it actually was.) At that point, I called my insurance company and told them I would not take my car to Gerber. The estimator was arrogant, dismissive, and clearly didn't care if customers were inconvenienced or strung along. Once they have your keys, you're basically stuck -- and I could tell they'd just let my car sit for days. My insurance company then referred me to CarStar in Mesa, and the difference was night and day. CarStar pre-ordered the parts, created the estimate, confirmed everything was ready before my appointment, and scheduled me for a Monday. I've received text updates throughout the week, and my car will be done by Friday. They even helped set up a rental car -- all with a great attitude and genuine professionalism. I also asked about the same white marks on my bumper. Their estimator simply grabbed some paint remover and wiped them off -- it turned out to be paint transfer, not damage. It took 30 seconds and cost me nothing, not $1,700. Bottom line: I would not recommend Gerber in Tempe. But I highly recommend CarStar in Mesa -- they know how to treat customers right, get the work done efficiently, and communicate every step of the way.

The wine list is fairly extensive, and you will more than likely want a glass or two or more with your meal Charleen Badman (one of the chefs) is considered the "veggie whisperer," for the amazing ways she is able to celebrate and prepare locally grown produce, and I will say we were very impressed.
