Shawna M.

In Jan. 2024 we took our 2005 F250 in to have all oil leaks repaired. We spent $7500 in repairs. Owner claims to give me a "discount" so original price on paper was $10,480. They used aftermarket parts, but charged me for Ford parts. When we got the truck home, it was still leaking oil on the driveway. They said it was other issues that would cost more money, about another $5000 to go back in the motor. We didn't make the repair, it should have been fixed the first time they were in the motor when we asked for all oil leaks to be fixed. After whatever work Alliance Diesel said they did, they forgot to put the coolant hose on the over flow, the truck overheated nearly blowing the motor. It had to be towed. When my husband took it back, all of a sudden, all the guys that worked on my truck were no longer working there. In Oct the engine light came back on. We took the truck back to Alliance Diesel to see what the problem was. The code it was showing was a oil pressure sensor. For $250 they said they replaced it. We got the truck home, engine light came back on with the same code. This time they said, I need to "just drive it". The truck was not running well at all. It wasn't starting up well. It was very sluggish and the secondary cooling fan was constantly running. It was running horrible, no way we could "just drive it"! We took it for a second opinion, he replaced all the glow plugs. The truck was still not running well at all, but was only throwing the oil pressure sensor code. Alliance Diesel kept our truck for 5 days and could not diagnose it. We took the truck to a different diesel specialist and found out the engine harness, FICM harness and glow plug modular were faulty. If the technician at Alliance Diesel was certified, he would have found these issues and repaired it. We spent another $3300 at the other diesel specialist, to repair these issues. While at that shop, we learned that Alliance Diesel charged us for things that never got done to our truck. For one, the main seal, at over $1000. The body was never taken off the frame, the bolts are the original bolts from Ford, never taken off to repair the main seal. The bell housing bolts were obviously never touched. They found "rigged" things done by Alliance that they had to repair. Alliance Diesel also double charged for labor more than once. My husband went in to Alliance Diesel to discuss the issues of the main seal and other repairs not being done, as well as the labor charges. He got no help, just given an attitude accusing the other shop of wanting our business. We will never return to this business. Just how much of this of work that they claimed they did was really done? We'll never know. We fully trusted this shop. Been going to them for years. We thought they were friends of ours, but found out they've been ripping us off.

I work at a campground and campers need mobile service from time to time, I would call and my messages never got a response...its a shame. Hopefully answering the phone and a quicker response time to inquires will improve because it used to be a 5 star business.

He pointed out areas I was having or would have with leaks and sealed all of those areas. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of service by this family team. I will be taking my RV back to them in the future for any repairs that either I don't know how to or don't want to do myself.

Fellow Yelpers beware of JR mobile service.... and they seemed to have just opened an RV dealership…read moreand parts/ service... So I called my RV company and was told to contact them because forest river had contract with them, ok so did as I was told. Called up the number on here, and the number given JR himself answered stated there is a $150 flat rate fee that they charge and that covers them coming out 10 times, ok sounded like a good deal right. Schedule an appointment for them to come out to Check out our AC unfortunately these guys don't know what they're doing.... they told us we needed to have the AC set at 85 in order for it to automatically turn on and off so he went ahead and told me to wash the filters on the AC, and also to cover one of the vents in the main living room area to allow for my ac to pass through. This to me seemed stupid, the charged an additional amount for them being there and inspecting my trailer for 30 minutes if that, and to add some of that silver tape to the AC. He called my husband and told him it would be a total of $250 for labor and parts!!?? What parts??? The piece of metal tape?? Anyway he told us to try that for a week and if it didn't work give him a call... A week roles by, five him a call and just asked if there is anyway they can replace the AC unit we purchased extended warranty and forest river covers that if you have a forest river product which we do. Call him set up another appointment for him to come 9am rolls by nothing, we call and no response.. 10 am rolls by and nothing... call again left VM finally I got tired of waiting I request a day off work to be there, these people didn't even call they are unprofessional!!! So I waited for hours just hear back from them 5 days later that they were backed up and would send someone next week. So that happened he sent a male with one earring very Pettit male, he came and first off didn't even look professional. Comes in and tells my husband the best advice he can give is to drill a hole in the top of the trailer to allow for more ventilation !!! What a joke!! Who would ever advise that, clearly he doesn't know any tampering you do to your trailer takes you out of warranty!! Hah! Wow so he came pulled the lid off our AC and added some silver tape to the back of the ac wiring... we called again to see if JR would be able to put in for a new Unit from Forest River, never heard back from anyone. I have heard other people complain about this JR person and the company, they are a joke and unprofessional. Don't be fooled look for someone who knows what they are doing please!!

If you prayed for someone to help you when your in between a rock and a hard place he's your man with a price lower than anyone else in the county. Rest easy that whatever your problem he won't try to upsell you anything you won't need. When he replaced the rear axle on my truck with a salvage part he gave me a one year warranty and at 10 months it locked up and he said no problem and replaced it within a week and didn't charge me a dime. Only a man of integrity would do that. He's more than just reliable, he's a friend. If anyone says anything negative about Frank I would question their motives as he has bent over backwards for me and my whole family with multiple vehicles over the years.

On March 5th, 2025, I had Frank remove and replace the motor in my Hyundai Sonata. At that time, I…read morehad no issues with his service. Before he began the work, I gave him a list of specific components not to touch because I had already replaced them myself while troubleshooting the engine problem. One of the items I clearly told him not to replace was the engine oil cooler I had already installed a new one. When I picked up the car after the motor replacement, he gave me a breakdown of everything he had done. One of the things he mentioned replacing was the oil cooler. I asked, "Why did you replace it when I specifically told you I already had?" To this day, I still don't know why he replaced it. I was concerned because I didn't want to pay for a part I had already installed, but he didn't charge me extra, so I moved on. Fast forward to July 15th: my daughter noticed the car was leaking oil. I called Frank, he looked at it, and after getting the car back I had no issues. Fast forward to August 29th: I noticed the car was leaking coolant. When I opened the hood, I saw that one of the coolant lines connected to the oil cooler had a severe bend in it. I called Frank, and he recommended that I buy an inner support spring for the hose. He didn't offer to fix the line himself he simply told me to take care of it. Fast forward to October 13th: the car started leaking again. I called Frank, I had the car towed for the third time, and got it back with no issues. Fast forward to November 6th: the car began leaking oil worse than ever. I tried calling my insurance, but they wouldn't tow it because I had used all three of my free tows for the year. Frank sent his tow service and said he'd work on it on Wednesday, November 12th. By Friday the 14th, I still hadn't heard from him, so I called to ask if he had found the problem. He said, "Yes, it's the engine oil cooler leaking." I replied, "Didn't you replace that the last time you worked on it?" I later called the dealership and found out that replacing the oil cooler runs about $1,000, which made me question whether he simply didn't want to deal with the cost of repairing it under warranty. When I got the car back, I inspected the oil cooler O-ring gasket myself, since that's where the leak was coming from. Sure enough, the O-ring was crushed and cracked in multiple places. I called the dealership parts department to confirm the torque spec for the bolt that secures the oil cooler. They told me it should be tightened to 32-39 ft-lbs. I asked whether over-torquing could crush the O-ring, and they said yes. I found a replacement o-ring on Amazon for $26. Replaced it today. Drove car, performed leak test and it passed. Based on everything I've observed and the information I've gathered, I believe this situation amounts to maintenance malpractice. Frank is a good guy, but with everything that has happened to my car this year, I would strongly recommend not taking a vehicle to him. After him fixing my motor, there has been no issues with the motor. It's sad to say but I will be taking my business elsewhere.
