Update 09/19/2026 UPDATE -- September 19, 2026 Well, here we are again. The engine that Frank's Auto Repair installed in my 2011 Hyundai Sonata in March 2025 was BAD. That replacement motor didn't even make it a year and a half before I started having major issues with it. After everything I went through getting the original engine replaced under warranty, the back-and-forth with the warranty company, being told the warranty was initially denied, and ultimately having to pay another $500 out of my own pocket, I expected the replacement engine to actually last. It didn't. I was initially willing to give Frank's Auto Repair the benefit of the doubt, but at this point, I can't ignore it. I trusted this shop to replace my engine correctly. What makes this even more frustrating is that when the first engine failed, there was already a warranty issue and a fight just to get it taken care of. Now the replacement engine failed as well. Two engines. One vehicle. I'm extremely disappointed with the entire experience. I gave Frank's Auto Repair the opportunity to make things right, and unfortunately, it didn't happen. I have used Franks Automotive for 10 years for my business and personal vehicles and give him my highest rating. If you prayed for someone to help you when your in between a rock and a hard place he's your man with a price lower than anyone else in the county. Rest easy that whatever your problem he won't try to upsell you anything you won't need. When he replaced the rear axle on my truck with a salvage part he gave me a one year warranty and at 10 months it locked up and he said no problem and replaced it within a week and didn't charge me a dime. Only a man of integrity would do that. He's more than just reliable, he's a friend. If anyone says anything negative about Frank I would question their motives as he has bent over backwards for me and my whole family with multiple vehicles over the years. read more

Frank is an honest mechanic. I've come to him for an oil change first. He got my car back to me fast and I was surprised by how fast. Later I came to Frank to replace my fan belt, power steering belt, and alternator belt. Two different people have information my transmission seal was leaking which was me needing an axel replacement ? Anyways he said the seal was fine ( which I don't believe ) He messed up ordering the part a few times & ( I have to take time off of work to get work done on my car since I work 25+ miles away. So the fix date kept getting delayed . Even after it was " fixed " it still made & noise and I asked him if it kept making noise and he was like " honestly I didn't check " like wtf dude ... I also had my grandpa who was paying for it on the phone he kept having to take time out of his day multiple times because of the lag of everything going on. Oil changes/spark plugs are part life and I prefer to use certain oils and plugs as my vehicle has specialized needs. I called Frank's and they would do the oil change with my oil, oil filter and plugs for $70(veteran discount) which is reasonable.I like the lobby as it has a tv to watch while your car gets serviced. Well I don't want to rain on anybody's parade. But I have doubts about this place and Frank in particular. I should have written this 4 or 5 months ago but I've been putting it aside. I took my van for front brakes and they fixed them and the price was ok. But when they finished the brake job they told me that my radiator was leaking and it would cost about 400 bucks to fix. They tried to scare me into having it done immediately and I almost fell for their pitch. I'm glad I did not. It wasn't true .I had my doubts and my doubts were confirmed, I've put in about 5k miles since then and have had no problem with my radiator. I have no radiator problem!!! It was a lie. read more
