Allen was everything you could hope for. He exceeded every expectation. He was professional, great communication, expert at his trade and affordable. I called for assistance and his Voicemail clearly stated he was busy for the day and would not be able to respond until the following day. But, he called same day (exceeded expectation) and was able to fit me into his schedule. he showed up and kept me informed of how the locks worked, what he would need to do and accomplished it quickly. Rarely do I post reviews, but when someone exceeds expectations, it is the least I can do. I would hire him for future projects! read more

Great service and was quick with his work. He changed the locks with no issues and had 6 keys ready for me.

Adam & his helper came out to fix the lockset on 2 patio French Doors. The company that installed the French Doors were no longer in business so the locks have not worked in years. Adam was amazing and was able to fix the lockset and doors are working beautifully. Highly recommend and value was very competitive. read more

So nice and competent. We had a specialty lock on a living room double door that was supposed to be fixed by seller before leaving but we walked into holes in that lock/deadbolt side of the door and wind blowing through on the first day after closing. Only had the old handles and faceplates, new lock case and new deadbolt assembly. Spoke to Allen - sent pictures - NO SCREWS or BOLTS of any kind had been left behind. Could not put the new parts into the door. He suggested calling the manufacturer on the paperwork of the replacement hardware that was left. We called Baton Lock and got a lot of advice about what might be needed. They referred us to a 'hardware expert' in Scotts Valley (3 hours from where we are) and he was informative as well but too far to physically help. Allen continued to follow up with us about the status and offered to come by and see what he could rig up so at least we would have a door that closed, even if it didn't lock. (We had been using bricks against the inside panel to keep it from opening spontaneously at night.) Well, Allen had the parts and was creative about the deadbolt placement and need to increase the height of the deadbolt hole on the other side so it would insert properly (dremel cutting, filing, etc). There was only one part he did not have in his truck and we found a solution at the local hardware store. Really had no idea how to get it all to come together until Allen appeared in person and step by step, got this specialty lock to fit into place on this metal double door with glass inserts. Thanks so much! Will be using again for our lock needs! read more

Allen helped me change our locks to our house. He was friendly and responsive. Also, he gave me suggestions to help me with ideas around other locks I was contemplating using inside the home. Not only is he knowledgeable , he is reliable and follows through with the job. I called him again for some other work and he helped me with that also. Thank you Allen read more

Allens' Mobile Locksmithing was right On time, neat & clean, accurate and very helpful. Got right to work. Highly recommend!

I though Allen's service was excellent. He managed to fix two doors to the basement which I didnt have the key for. Also helped re-key my smart locks and not being so smart, i goofed on one of the locks. Lucky Allen was still working on the doors when he fixed that as well. Took less than an hour, actually faster than that had I not goofed one of the locks. Very happy customer and would recommend! read more

I asked this guy to help me out with new locks and keys on a cabin in the mountains. He was busy with some other job, but because I told him I was time constrained, he left the other job, drove an hour to meet me, and did the work quickly and well. He told me what I needed to know, and even took credit card payment on the spot. This was a great experience. I would absolutely recommend Allen's to anybody in Tuolumne county. If I see this guy again, I'd buy him a beer too. read more

I wanted to get an additional deadbolt installed on my office door for added security. Allen returned my call within an hour of my voicemail to him and was able to come out the next day - even though I am located in Angels Camp! My business is located in a historic building so my door is a little unique in dimension, but he knew how to work with that and gave attention to every detail, such as matching the existing lock brand and color perfectly, and suggested an added plate detail to match the existing door knob style. Then he re-keyed the new lock to match the current so I don't need 2 sets of keys. I thought his price was wonderful and I couldn't be happier. On top of that, he was very nice and professional. I would highly recommend him. read more

Allen was recommended to us by our realtor so we called him as soon as we took possession of our new home. He was there literally within minutes and did exactly what we asked: changed all the locks and made us the keys we needed. Prompt, courteous and reasonable. Who can ask for more in a mobile locksmith? Not us! Allen's great! Highly recommend him for all your locksmith needs. read more
