Rick was extremely responsive and looked into my cars key not coming out of the ignition. Even though he wouldn't be able to do the work himself as it requires an auto mechanic he let me know what the problem most likely is and even recommended some local mechanics to fix it for me. I will definitely use this company the next time I need a locksmith. He went above and beyond to help me out when he didn't have to. 10/10 read more

Rick was amazing from the start. I called him over the weekend when most people wouldn't pick up and he answered right away in penciled me in for the day that I needed. The location that I need the job done was definitely quite a drive away and I'm sure most people would not be very enthusiastic to drive that far but Rick came out very quickly helped get the job done and the locks changed on the property I needed, he even went back to the property a second time leaving his kid's birthday party just to take care of me. If that doesn't show commitment then I don't know what else does. Rick's a really good honest guy and does great work and I would absolutely use him again in the future and recommend anyone who needs a locksmith to call Rick. Thanks again Rick for all your help! read more

Rick was great. Got right back to me. We had lost the keys to our Thule carrier for roof of car. He had me take picture of lock to see what he could do to help. I noticed that there was a number on the lock and was able to order replacement keys from Thule. Thank you, Rick. read more

I wasn't hopeful when I got locked out of the house late on a Friday night, yet Rick picked up the phone! Rick was quick to try and help me resolve my stuck keypad lock and no key situation. He offered every possible solution that eventually worked! Super nice guy who was willing to do whatever we needed to get into our home. Thank you Rick! Hopefully we don't get locked out again, but if we do you're the best person to call! read more

Amazing customer service, Rick answered and answered and was on his way to save the day almost instantly. After that he offered advice on how we can keep ourselves from ever ending up in the same situation. I would 100% recommend to all my family and friends for any locksmith needs. read more

After spending considerable time on DIY efforts, we called Richard and he picked the lock in 30 seconds. Impressive! It reminded me of the phrase: "You don't pay me for the 5 minutes (actually much less) that I spent to do it, you pay me for 40 years I spent learning how to do it..." read more

Rick picked up the phone on a Friday afternoon when we forgot our keys after a long drive. He drove through a rainstorm, arrived early, and was able to unlock our doors efficiently, we have a great deal of appreciation for his professionalism and expertise. Many thanks! read more

Rick saved the day. Keys had fallen off my keychain and I was locked out. Rick arrived under 30 minutes, followed covid safety protocols, was a pleasure to work with and got the job done for a fair price. Highly recommended. read more

We were stranded after our FOB fell off our keychain and we had no way to get back home. Rick went above and beyond for our family and tracked down a FOB a few hours away, traveled hours and programmed the new FOB enabling us to get home. He saved us time and money because we did not have to have our vehicle towed to a dealer. The best part was Rick's exceptional level of communication as he took time to keep us updated on every step toward a resolution. He was professional and competent. Superior service!! I have used Rick twice since I moved to Sonora. The first time, he came out and replaced an old door knob/lock and added a deadbolt. The second time, I was locked out of my house (in Sonora) with my dog and he got there in about 15 minutes...that was impressive! I was thrilled that I didn't have to wait long and was grateful to get back inside on a hot evening. Will definitely use him again. read more

Rick responded quickly and went above and beyond. Quality work and excellent communication. Very grateful read more

Excellent service, I was lucky to be locked out of my shop and not the house, he still got there fast and was a real gentleman.

Rick definitely saved our day. We lost our rental car key sledding Yosemite and only realized at 4pm Sunday, with work at 8am Monday in SF. Rick was the only locksmith within 100 miles, and we called with a not-so-subtle hint of desperation around 6 after searching a half dozen hills for the illusive keys. After chasing down another locksmith in Stockton to retrieve the modern electronic key necessary for our 2015 kia, he drove what totaled 180 miles, over some sketchy icy roads, to meet us deep in the valley by 10:30pm. Fingers, arms, and eyes crossed, the car-key handshake worked, and we were stranded and freezing no more! I rarely make any reviews, but Rick went waayyy out of his way to save our a$$es, was friendly and professional. 6 stars! read more

Rick went out of his way to call me after his researching how to solve an auto lock issue for my car. He also looked at photos I had emailed to him to make sure he had the correct information. Great service like this is rare and although he did not need to do a service call, I recommend him highly and will use him for any further locksmith needs. Roland in Arnold read more

So appreciative of the work Rick did for me. My front door bolt lock got stuck and there was no way for me to unlock the door! (Thank goodness for the back door - lol) He responded promptly to my call, gave me some suggestions to try to unstick it myself, and when those didn't work he was here within the hour. Found that part of the problem was my door was sticking and he even spent time helping with that problem. He went above and beyond, did excellent work, was extremely professional and very friendly. I can recommend his services with full confidence. read more

Horrible. I called this business, as it was the first one that popped up on google, and a guy answered the phone as "locksmith". I told him my situation, and he gave me a quote, which he said would cost more because it was on a Sunday. I told him i'd give him a call on Monday because I was in no hurry and it would be about $50 cheaper. He then called me back about 5 minutes later and told me he was close to my house and he would give me a discount because I knew a locksmith. He came to my house and I told him I had a lockpick set of my own that I was using and I know my way around locks ( as a hobby, im a novice ) and he proceeded to tell me its illegal in CA to possess a lock pick set. I informed him it was not illegal to posses in my own house, and he told me "cops dont care" I then told him that i've done my research, im not an idiot when it comes to locks/lockpicks/ca laws/ ect. and to not bullshit me. He got pissed and left. Horrible horrible person. To misinform his clientele about the legality of his profession which is false, completely unprofessional. read more

Rick is great! Knowledgeable, competent, funny, and trustworthy. I lost my car keys on vacation. He offered to pick them up at my house in San Jose because he was going anyway. What a life saver Rick was!!! We had a blowout on 120, took AAA almost 3 hours to locate us to which they could not help so they towed us to Sonora. Tire shops that were open couldn't help us with our locked lug nuts so we felt stuck until a tire shop that might be able to help would open the following day. We had a family member recommend calling a locksmith to try and help. After calling a few #'s and them all saying they couldn't help we were pleased to have Rick answer and say "Yes I can Help You" but he was on a job in Yosemite and it would take him awhile to get to us. He not only checked in with us during our wait but he also recommended picking up certain supplies from the auto store before it closed. Once he arrived he dove right in working on getting our lug nut off. He had to go get his bigger truck which was pretty quick and in no time at all he had our lug nut off and helped my boyfriend change the tire too. What a great guy, super helpful, honest and friendly. If that wasn't enough he called us the next morning to make sure we got home ok on the spare tire which we had a 3 1/2 hour drive home after our long ordeal. I highly recommend him and I know if I am ever in need of a locksmith I will certainly call Rick again..... Big Kudos To Rick the Locksmith ;-) read more

I called to see if I could get some keys made for two tool chests. Rick suggested I look for numbers around where the key goes in and call Sears since both were Craftsman. I did that and was able to purchase those but not for the older tool chest so I called Rick back and gave him the numbers, he said he would check and call me back the next day but if he didn't to call him so I did and he wanted me to check the numbers again so I did and he said he would check for them and call me back. I received a call back and he had located a locksmith near by that had the blanks needed to make the other set of keys and gave me all the information to give the other locksmith. I think it was very nice of Rick to do the research and give me the information. I will use Rick again if I ever need anything and will recommend him to anyone needing a locksmith. read more
