After some initial problems making an appointment (no worries, as it means they're busy with work!), I did get an external door re-keyed and got my car key fobs programmed. He knew what he was doing, was pretty quick with it, and I'm happy with the service! Now I don't have to rely on my grotty falling-apart car key fob. LOL. Plus I got the sense that I can call if I have any issues with any of the keys. read more

David from Night Owl came to my new house, to re-key all of my doors. He was professional, very kind, easy to get along with, and very knowledgeable. I couldn't ask for a better experience, and will recommend this company all the time! Not to mention, will continue to use them whenever I need a locksmith! read more

Night Owl came out to remove the lock on my storage unit. They were easy to reach by phone, reliable and on time. I will use Night Owl again and feel comfortable recommending them to others. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was due to my initial impression. Their "do it yourself" website doesn't convey the level credibility or professionalism that Night Owl actually delivers. In other words, I wasn't really sure what to expect or who I was getting, to the point of only half expecting them to show up and not feeling 100% comfortable about paying with a credit card on site. I really didn't expect to see a professional wearing a branded Night Owl shirt and a full mobile setup in his van. After meeting John I felt immediately comfortable with my choice to hire Night Owl and had no uneasiness about paying with my credit card. read more

When we locked our key inside the trunk of our rental car in a remote part of town while on a camping trip, we panicked. A tow was going to cost us $800. We called Night Owl Lock Service and they patiently explained to us over the phone how to remove the car handle from the inside, and use a flat head screwdriver to turn the lock, a detailed procedure that Night Owl knew like the back of their hand! We were able to get into our trunk and get the key, they saved us a lot of money and time! When we offered to tip them over the phone, they declined. Incredible service, good people! read more

John was awesome! I lost my key to my bike rack with all the bikes locked on the car. It was Friday of Memorial day. I called him at 5:00pm. He said, "no problem" give me a bit. He drove an hour and a half to Arnold and arrived by 9:00pm that night! He took 15 minutes, and unlocked the lock and handed me two new keys. His price was very reasonable as well. I highly recommened John and Night Owl! read more

FANTASTIC lock service. The best I've ever worked with- the gentleman was friendly, knowledgable, and most of all, caring. I've called other locksmiths in the area and they were charging me WAY more than John was- and they even told me that he doesn't do some of the services they offer, which was a complete lie. I would definitely call Night Owl first for any of your locksmith needs, he is extremely responsive and helpful, offers the best deals in town! read more

My son broke his key off in his car door due to the cold weather. We had a second key so it wasn't a true emergency but I wanted to get things taken care of quickly. I called John and we arranged to meet the next day. He had the broken key out in less than a minute and he was able to get my stock key cut in just a matter of minutes. He was very friendly and professional. It was a convenient meeting location, reasonable price, and he accepts credit cards. I plan to use his service again to get a second key for another vehicle. Highly recommended! read more

I lost my key to my motorcycle this was the only company that was able to make a key for my motorcycle and had the blank on hand. It took John about 30 minutes to make the key. Thanks read more

Called John about cutting and programming 2 keys for me. We met and he was able to get the job done for less than 1/3 of what the dealership wanted FOR JUST ONE KEY! Everyone should have his number in their phone just in case. read more

I was a bit concerned about calling a locksmith without any recommendations from friends, but with Night Owl, I didn't need to worry. They were so professional, showed up exactly as promised, clearly laid out all costs up front, were knowledgeable, kept us informed about the status of the parts we needed for the repair, searched diligently for the most cost effective options, and even texted photos of the available parts! Plus they were courteous and super nice! Prices were fair and the work was completed in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend their services to anyone in need of anything lock related!! read more

My daughter's keys were stolen at the bottom of Candy Rock Road near Avery. This road is a very sketchy one lane dirt road that ends at a parking lot. John met us in Murphy's and followed us to the car. He was amazed that a Passat was able to drive down that road. After he quickly programmed another key, I was amazed that the Passat was able to drive back up it! We couldn't thank John enough for his amazing service and willingness to go on a crazy drive to the car. He truly saved the day! Thanks, John! read more

So me and my girlfriend and her daughter got, locked out of out house around 8pm. We tryed to contact night owl for over a hour. After leaving messages and calling over and over, I finally contacted the owner around 9pm. I then explained my situation and he said he told one of his employees will contact me that he wasn't available( the owner isn't available). So I ask how long do you think I will have to wait. He said he's not sure that his partner MIGHT contact me if available. It is now 11:51 I have not been contacted, a call back nothing. I am now in a hotel. Night owl you claim your 24hr YOU HAD ONE JOB and you failed. read more

The guy here, John, is a lazy jerk. He keeps asking us if we have anyone who can bring us a key to our car because it's "hard to do it in the dark" (it's a TWENTY FOUR HOUR SERVICE) and AUDIBLY rolling his eyes at us over the phone. We're less than 20 minutes away and this moron keeps essentially calling my friend stupid because we don't have anyone who can bring us a key. No. That's why we're calling you. He even suggested we have someone at the house (hours away) can give it to a TAXI DRIVER TO DRIVE IT TO US! Uhh, no. I'm not giving my keys to a random cab driver to just trust he'll bring it to me. He ended up making her cry because he was being such a jerk. Just because he's too lazy to drive 20 miles to do his job. read more

I recently purchased a house and called Night Owl in the morning. John came out within 2 hours to change the locks. He also made sure the locks fit well with the door frames, and adjusted them. Very reasonable price, fast and professional. Highy recommend! read more

I called John on a weekend to come and help after a burglary at our home. Not only was he there quickly, he was so calming and patient. He replaced all the locks, and then went out of his way to add some security locks to make us feel more comfortable. His rates are completely reasonable. I recommend him highly. He is an expert in this field and someone you can really rely on when you need someone to help!! read more
