They also have a key to the bathroom, which is around the corner. Even though we were 20 minutes early, they let us get on the water bike after a quick instruction. Riding on the water bikes was really fun! We rode around the bay and the water was choppy sometimes but as you get inside the bay, the water is calmer. A trick is that if you feel the water is too choppy, start paddling - the water will calm down with the pedaling. There are several boats around which provided live music for us. The bike has two cup holders and a front container to put your phones and small stuff in. We had a great time. They share a parking lot with nearby restaurants which offer 3 hours of free parking. That is a huge plus for something near the beach! We will be back next time to try a glow ride.

This was exactly what I needed. I got some exercise and some nice views. I enjoyed myself very much and would definitely do it again. Right after I was done I was straight the bar for much needed refreshments. Yay!

Bula! Thank you ScubaX travel and Scuba schools of America…read more Our dive trip to Fiji was absolutely outstanding. The diving exceeded expectations with warm, clear water, vibrant soft corals, and an abundance of marine life at every site. From colorful reef fish and turtles to sharks cruising by, every dive felt alive and unforgettable. The dive operators were professional, safety-focused, and genuinely welcoming. Briefings were thorough, groups were well managed, and the guides clearly knew the reefs intimately. Their passion for the ocean and respect for the environment really stood out. Above the water, Fiji was just as special. The warmth and kindness of the Fijian people made the trip even more memorable, and the relaxed island atmosphere was the perfect complement to full days of diving.

I reached out to the…read morestore to take a refresher scuba course, because I got my SSI Open Water certification during a Fiji trip. Rusty not only talked me into retaking the Open Water course, but also two boat trips. The total of which was $905.00. I regretted my purchase and wrote to him the next day, asking for a refund. The stated refund policy on their website is that trips can be refunded if canceled 30 days before the start of travel. Two weeks later, I still haven't received the refund. Against my better judgment, I visited the store for my first class and was talked into buying $5,710 worth of overpriced scuba equipment, before we even entered the pool. I left the store never even getting the $4,638 scuba system I was charged for. I have open disputes with my credit card company to get my money refunded. I have also filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. I found online that Rusty Berry and Scuba Schools of America have a bad reputation in the scuba diving community, for disingenuous sales tactics, inflated prices, and questionable refund policies. Visit scubaboard.com and search for Scuba Schools of America. There's a whole thread about them and the negative experience others have had with them. Avoid this store and its owner.

Many cars were lined up before the recreation area opened for the day, so it took a while to find parking. Many teams found their patch of grass to pitch up tents for the better half of the day, while it seems those who weren't part of the festival were partitioned off. From around 7am to 4pm, a lively environment of DJs and live music, jersey vendors, drumming competitions, costume contests, and even Zumba, a nice mix of distractions between all the waiting between heats. The park's maintenance team were on hand cleaning the restrooms, emptying trash cans, and driving to and from whenever they were needed. Some of the dragon boat teams and vendors also drove into the booth areas which made it kinda dangerous with so many people. There was even a close call of an infant almost getting run over. In terms of dragon boat, participating in 250m sprints was a positive experience. Much different sense of urgency compared to the usual 500m.
