Background: Came in with sharp knee pain when jumping or…read morerunning. I've had this pain for 5+ years. I've done continuous stretching and exercises I've learned online in order to try to stay active. Start of DynamX PT: Abigail did my evaluation and noticed I had weak posterior chain. Her and Dustin came up with a workout routine that I did both at physical therapy and at home. In my 3-month span I was able to go from barely able to jog with pain to one legged explosive jumping. It did take lots of work but with Dustin's dynamic workouts I was able to improve gradually over time. Thanks: Huge shout out to Fain for staying on top of my insurance company. Also, they kept telling to continue doing the exercises even though I told them I am felt pain (not muscle building). Luckily, I changed to a different Select PT and found another PT that diagnosed my main problem, which is keeping my knees from caving in. When I was checking in my sister two employees saw me but after I had walked back in and sat down in the lobby they were weirdly staring at me for little bit and finally asked if I "had an appointment" or if I was "a patient" after I stared back and made eye contact with the receptionist for a while. I felt unwelcomed when they had clearly saw me dropping off my sister and when other individuals walked in, some who did not sign-in as well, sat down and were not questioned by staff. Maybe instead of staring come and address the question or problem you have with me instead of making me feel uncomfortable and as if I was doing wrong.
