Really appreciated the rocking chairs available to people waiting for their ride shares. With a work facility in Savannah, I'm sure if/when I'm needed there again - SAV is one of the airports I won't mind being stranded at due to bad weather.

I recently took the train from Charleston to Savannah and back for the first time and it was such a…read morefun idea. Both stations are very small and easy to navigate. It doesn't really save you any time because the train still takes two hours and there are sometimes delays, but it's fun to be in a new city with no car and relying on walking and ubering. From Amtrak station, I took a rideshare to my hotel downtown and was there in 12 minutes. They had some vending machines here but otherwise it's pretty bare bones. I can't wait to make the trip again.

No invasive TSA. Dinner is served in the Dining Car with white tablecloths and fresh flowers. My salmon in puff pastry was delicious, and the chocolate cake is sinfully rich. I traveled only 2 days before Christmas, and I was lucky enough to have Anton as my cabin attendant. I walked the whole train and his car (5246) was the only one decorated for Christmas. There were lights and ornaments and merry greetings, adding a festive flair. Thank you, Anton. You made it a spectacular experience.

However we did fly back the following day in a thunderstorm with lightning a lot worst than clouds. They lie about the real reason it was canceled and just blame it on weather. Seats in economy are sufficient and seat belts are good for average to plus size customers. Flight attendants were helpful and friendly enough. Our trip back from Savannah to Newark was delayed about an hour and a half--first due to another flight deplaning from our gate at the same exact time we should've been boarding. Then again after we boarded--we were told there were "data issues." Thankfully this was our flight home and we didn't need a connecting flight going anyplace else or we may have been screwed. I would fly with United again.

This is actually a "Chill" airport to fly from. I love the cute little kiosk in the center of this airport they actually have some nice finds, if you have time stop and take a look, you might find something perfectly suited for you. After shopping and on board my flight, the stewardess (Arnelli and Crystal) were nice and friendly. This might be the worst rated rental place I've seen, but figured I would give them a try regardless since it's what was chosen for me. I picked up a car from this Thrifty location inside of the Savannah airport roughly two weeks ago and not once did I ever interact with anyone at Thrifty, because 9AM on a Thursday is not a time they choose to be open so I had to check in at Hertz a few booths over. The process itself wasn't terrible although the employee working forgot to give me car keys so I had to walk to the car pickup, tell them, then they walked inside and got me some keys so I can't complain too much, I was able to drive out of there without much of a headache. Overall, this place was fine and minus being a little annoying, I was able to get a car and drive around the city. Was it perfect? No, but it is what it is.
