I will say I have yet to fly Spirit. I first flew Frontier over 10 years ago since they had a Direct Flight from Orlando to San Diego. I got "the works" package or whatever they call it and it was wonderful. More recently, I was going to Charlotte and American was absolutely ridiculous at $800 round trip. Frontier had it for $182 with a "good" seat that I chose when booking the flight. Being somewhat unfamiliar with the process, and having priority boarding, I asked the 3 ladies at the counter, after standing there for a few minutes while they just BS'ed with each other how boarding works. They said they'd call for the priority boarding. Well, after listening and waiting and going through pre-boards and military and all of the other more deserving people getting on the plane, they never said the word "Priority", I guess they call it something different that's 'on the boarding pass which makes it confusing. As far as prices and getting there, it's a pretty good option even if you have a carry-on and are checking a bag. The drink and food options on the plane were a bit pricey so I'd say load up at the Airport first. You get what you pay for for sure. But they got me there on-time which is half the battle. But the gate staff was 1-star for being so unhelpful. I'd fly them again if I had to, but never again by choice.

Several hours at the airport was already expected and accounted for, but then my Alaska Airlines flight was delayed for no reason and continued to be delayed at every hour interval until we finally left the ground at 11pm. We were never told why it was delayed so much. There is absolutely nothing to do at this airport, or at least in the terminal I was in. They could at least add some random small Disney store or fun bar in the area! There weren't any charging stations or work tables to busy oneself. I just spent the time pacing back and forth the outdated large hallway watching some idle planes, and sat around. On the flight, they didn't even give us more than one snack to compensate! The TSA line was oddly long, too. It wrapped around several times, but it may have been because of recent REAL ID confusion. They seemed to be on the watch for something, because they had some dogs walking back and forth as people crossed a section one by one. At least the security is active here? Checking in a few hours before board time got us a window and adjoining seat near the middle of the plane, behind the wings. For certain T-Mobile plans, you get free wifi on the plane. Entertainment is only offered when you connect to your own device - they removed the seat tablets. There are USB and charging outlets on the seats. I usually prefer flying with Alaska Airlines, but this experience was maddening.

Jet Blue took care of all our transportation with the exception of airport parking. Checking bags at MCO in terminal C was amazing. I was actually dreading check in and security but going through Jet Blue and Terminal C made everything seamless and easy. We were both able to earn points for future trips by downloading the Jet Blue app. All of the staff were friendly and welcoming, the planes were in excellent working order, clean, and staff were overall efficient. We received one free alcohol beverage both ways, free Wi-Fi, and Movies for our flights. The only hiccup we had with the transportation for our return trip home. The driver was on time but he took us 40 minutes in the opposite direction to pick up other customers then drove right by where he picked us up from again to go to the next two stops heading toward the airport. The pickup/drop-off route could have been planned out more efficiently. We were crammed in a little van for 2 hours for a trip that only takes 45 minutes to an hour. Other than that, everything else was great. We would definitely use Jet Blue Vacations again, it's a major bummer to hear that they are approximately $9.4 Billion in debt, and could be closing up; hopefully things turn around for the better. Regardless, we are thankful everything worked out as planned with our trip and think they did an exceptional job overall.

But over the past two yrs on other airlines mentioned above, NO delays! On our way home we had to check our bag at the gate because it was a full plane well they LOST our bag! We waited at the carousel, asked the info desk he sent us to the jet blue counter where the man said oh yes three more bags are coming out. So we walked all the way back to the carousel and waited... nothing... my husband went back and talked to the guy who looked it up and insisted it was on the way out. Now 45 min after.. finally they admitted to it being misplaced. They eventually found it. JetBlue is located in thermal C at MCO it's new and beautiful but there isn't a Dunkin.

If you have your Magic Band ready when you get off the plane, it's incredibly easy, and you just walk up and scan your Magic Band and they tell you what line to stand in. Line 10 is AKL for both villages and Coronado. A personal gripe of mine; I don't think Deluxe resorts should have to share busses. Before this trip, we'd always stayed at Polynesian and Grand Floridian. They are both Deluxe resorts, and they share with Contemporary, and all of those resorts are right next to each other, so it didn't really bother me. But this time we were at Animal Kingdom Lodge, and we stopped at Art of Animation and Pop Century before getting to AKL. I just think the Deluxe resorts are so much more expensive that they could get their own busses. In any case, I landed at the airport at 3:45, was on a bus by 4:15, and on resort at 5:07. I don't think it's worth the cost of an Uber to get there like a half hour faster, but that's up to you. One thing that's great about Disney is that you don't need to worry about transportation at all once you get there, and I really appreciate that. And if you check bags, you don't even need to get those, and they'll deliver them right to your room. I had a very early flight home though, and they picked me up excessively early. I got picked up at 5:30am for an 8:30am flight. I didn't have luggage, but if I did I could have checked it at the resort, so no one needs to be at the airport that early. I sat around for a good 2 hours before my flight. That might have been worth taking an Uber just so I could sleep another hour. It's still a great service though, and I plan to use it again next time. There's really no reason to spend extra on transportation when this is included with your stay.

The buses run on specific schedules and based on the time of your flight be prepared to leave a bit earlier to the airport. I read this service will end in 2022. Sad, as it's a terrific perk.
