Do not come here for gift cards…read more I bought two $100 amazon gift cards and was scammed. The person at the register didn't check my gift cards. The people I gifted the cards to, told me the last digits of the cards were already scratched out. The cards were already redeemed before purchasing and now I lost $200. Employees need to do their due diligence and check the gift cards before selling. This is unfair and unprofessional. Never buy from here and always get gift cards from Amazon itself. Lesson learned

Told us to come back for my brother, which we did, and came back. Arrived at the window with no acknowledgement from the pharmacy tech who was standing by the window and gossiping with her coworker. We could hear her talking thru the mic talking crap about someone until I said hello. I had to get her attention and ask her if his prescription was ready. After asking for his info, she grabbed his items through it into the window drawer and walked away. Worst customer service ever and gives CVS a bad name. Do people not need their jobs??? They received the transfer around 2 PM, and only after I followed up again at 5 PM was I told that it would not be filled today because they were "backed up." If I had been informed of this at 2 PM, I could have looked for another pharmacy instead of wasting hours waiting while dealing with a painful medical flare. To make matters worse, the pharmacist told me to call other CVS pharmacies myself to check stock availability (which I would have, had it not been 5PM). The pharmacists at Lower Azusa usually look up stock for you in other CVS locations. Patients should not be expected to perform inventory checks on their own, especially when in pain and trying to access prescribed medication.

I stopped and we walked in to see if we could get it refilled. Well, we were informed by the pharmacist that in order to get a prescription refilled, the prescription needs to be transferred over from the current pharmacy to the new pharmacy. Unfortunately, the current pharmacy was already closed for the day so we'll have to try again next time. Pharmacist was okay. Not the smiley type though. Hey, we're not here to make friends. We just need to get our medications and that is what matters LOL. However, a friendly smile can lift up someone's spirits any time of the day... do try to put it in your daily practice... it will make your heart sing and make someone's day! This pharmacy got a facelift and it's amazing. I love the pick up lady. She's the most friendly helpful lady ever. Everything is quick and easy. I've spoken to two pharmacists for consultation on a new medication and they were both super helpful and answered all questions and concerns. This is my new favorite pharmacy, I love getting my meds here.

The staff at this location were incredibly unprofessional and unhelpful when I came to drop off some AT&T internet equipment for shipping at the FedEx office inside this Walgreens. AT&T quite clearly said I could go to any FedEx location, including the one at this location. I went, and the staff said I couldn't. I then asked where else, and they refused to answer the question. I raised the fact that AT&T said they had a contract with them saying I could do this, and the staff just stared at my blankly and asked me to move on. I was planning to buy some supplements while I was there, but decided I should go somewhere else for that. I then called AT&T back and they said the Walgreens/FedEx staff was incorrect about this and, surprise, I still had to abide by the ten day deadline to ship my equipment out. I've had my prescriptions filled at other CVSs in the past, and I've ALWAYS had issues. Such as delay in refill (when told, "come back in an hour.") And they still don't have anything ready, making me wait 30 min -45 min!! Not here!! When they say it'll be ready within a certain time, it's ready!! I feel they go above and beyond!! I feel important to them!! I have faith in knowing they are knowledgeable and assertive!! I'm totally confident to say that these are the best group of pharmacy staff in the area!!

She thought that I meant gift cards... Nope... She asked another staff who said that they don't have any. I guess I need to go to a more touristy location... LOL! I do appreciate the free parking, sale items, and loyalty program. After purchasing a few gifts and using my monetary rewards at the self-service kiosk, i received a long printout of coupons. Horrible pharmacy. I always run into issues here with lack…read moreof service from the pharmacy. It's currently 2:10pm, they were supposed to be open at 2 o'clock yet they have the curtain shade down over the window so you can't even see inside or ask anyone for help in the drive-through pharmacy. There is a seven car line already built up as everyone has been here since before 2 PM waiting for the pharmacy to open back up after their late lunch. Currently have been waiting for over 10 minutes after their opening time with a screaming baby in the car. Not the first time with this issue, it's often. Truly terrible. Came back and the person at the window did not want to do his job or help at all. I think his name is Adan. He first said my prescription for a very generic, routine medication would be $183 because insurance won't cover it. That couldn't be possible so I questioned him. Turns out they didn't have my insurance on file, not sure why that wasn't mentioned first. So I gave the insurance card. Was told it was inactive, which also isn't possible because it is active and my husband used it for the same medication earlier in the week. He tried to turn me away or make me pay out of pocket. To which I said no, you need to contact the insurance and provide service. He said "you need to call", to which I very politely asked "isn't that your job?" I am a nurse myself, it is part of their job. If I go home and call and the come back, it's the same thing as my just telling them the insurance is active and them ignoring me. It's not the same as them calling insurance and verifying so they can render services. Which is what they are supposed to do. Anyways the worker told me to get out of line and get back into it again, wait through 8 cars of other people being serviced first, instead of finishing my transaction. I questioned this, so he finally agreed to have me pull over. After 8 ppl being serviced while I waited I walked up to the window where he told me he never called. The male pharmacist with glasses gave me the same runaround. I had to wait through 6 lines with a screaming baby to get help. I went inside, didn't tell them what was going on and just said trying to fill a prescription as a test. Finally Minlan provided incredible service, called the insurance without me even asking, and solved the whole issue in less than 5 mins. After my spending an hour there due to no other staff wanting to do their jobs. No one should have to wait in 6 lines, with a crying and screaming baby, being constantly shrugged off, while staff refuses do their jobs. I am transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy immediately. No wonder they have SO MANY people working inside, it's because no one is actually doing their jobs. This is the LAZIEST staff I have ever encountered in my lifetime. I plan on filing a complaint.
