I'm writing a compliment which takes place in the city of El Monte Walgreens... I've been a customer for many many years, and what I'd like to let the pharmacy manager know, as well as their customers that there's a lady in the pharmacy by the name of Angela, who happens to be one of the pharmacist. She's fantastic, as well as professional, and with her chemistry background, as well as education, She was able to explain to me about interaction with certain medications that I'm taking. She was explaining to me, and I was able to really absorb the information and I'm very happy. Definitely, I will recommend people that I know with this pharmacy, which is located in El Monte. Thank you, Angela. Please don't forget the pharmacy manager's name is Angie. She's a fantastic lady as well, but Angela is amazing and she got her job done quickly with her knowledge. My child's school notified me that my TB test had recently expired so I had to get submit a new…read moretest result ASAP or I wouldn't be able to volunteer. It was extremely difficult to schedule an appointment with my own provider so I decided to pay out of pocket to get it done at a local CVS. Scheduling an appointment through the CVS app was super easy and the check in process was seamless. I received notifications on my phone with reminders to check and I was called into the doctor's office within a 5 minutes wait (walk ins are welcomed, btw!) The doctor was friendly and very thorough with the process. The test was quick and I was able to schedule a follow up visit to check the results the following Monday, and I received an email notification right away confirming my appointment. It was $35 for the appointment and it will be another $50 for the follow up. Definitely had a wonderful experience!

A lot of shelves have that glass window in place but there was an employee nearby to help you always. It's stocked up, like actually stocked up and I found exactly what I needed for my trip at this time of night. It was handy and convenient though they were standoffish but I get it, it's past midnight and we're in the city. I would recommend if you're in a bind and need stuff, this place is stocked very well.

The services aren't the best but the employees try to do the best. It was two days ago, I had encountered a problem with the check out station. I checked myself out everything smoothly! After I made the payment, the employee who assisted the lady at the self check out station next to mine made a mistake. He scanned her coke with his hand held device, but the device had my station number on it. My transaction couldn't complete with the receipt printed out. He didn't even notice the problem until I told him the coke transaction had added to my transaction. He did apologize and tried to fix the problem - which was to restart the machine and redo the whole transaction! I was held up for another 20 mins for all restart matters when the machine took another 10 mins to be back to normal. He ended up seeing my transaction could not complete with the machine that he would need to direct me to his supervisor at the checkout counter. The supervisor didn't know what to do, so she ended up honor my transaction. When I filled out the company survey online, I did request the store should have more employees doing the real transaction than having the checkout machines.. however, please have your employees train for professional work with customer service manner! As a long time customer, I'm so fed up to have all these encounters after a driving trip with extra 30 mins spent in the shop. A customer is here to make a purchase, not a tester of your employees' work quality! Please do not have a rude supervisor or employees who doesn't/don't know the company policies to take a work shift!

This is the worst CVS pharmacy drive thru…read more Went to the drive thru pharmacy. The associate at the window was just not on top of it and wasn't helpful at all. Told us to come back for my brother, which we did, and came back. Arrived at the window with no acknowledgement from the pharmacy tech who was standing by the window and gossiping with her coworker. We could hear her talking thru the mic talking crap about someone until I said hello. I had to get her attention and ask her if his prescription was ready. After asking for his info, she grabbed his items through it into the window drawer and walked away. Worst customer service ever and gives CVS a bad name. Do people not need their jobs??? If you hate your job, then find a different career!

Extremely frustrating experience with CVS Pharmacy. My prescription was transferred from one CVS to…read moreanother specifically because this location confirmed they had the medication in stock. They received the transfer around 2 PM, and only after I followed up again at 5 PM was I told that it would not be filled today because they were "backed up." If I had been informed of this at 2 PM, I could have looked for another pharmacy instead of wasting hours waiting while dealing with a painful medical flare. To make matters worse, the pharmacist told me to call other CVS pharmacies myself to check stock availability (which I would have, had it not been 5PM). The pharmacists at Lower Azusa usually look up stock for you in other CVS locations. Patients should not be expected to perform inventory checks on their own, especially when in pain and trying to access prescribed medication.

***This review is for the Pharmacy only***…read more My Mom needed to have one of her prescriptions refilled. I happened to be driving by this Rite Aid in Rosemead yesterday. I stopped and we walked in to see if we could get it refilled. Well, we were informed by the pharmacist that in order to get a prescription refilled, the prescription needs to be transferred over from the current pharmacy to the new pharmacy. Unfortunately, the current pharmacy was already closed for the day so we'll have to try again next time. Pharmacist was okay. Not the smiley type though. Hey, we're not here to make friends. We just need to get our medications and that is what matters LOL. However, a friendly smile can lift up someone's spirits any time of the day... do try to put it in your daily practice... it will make your heart sing and make someone's day! This pharmacy got a facelift and it's amazing. I love the pick up lady. She's the most friendly helpful lady ever. Everything is quick and easy. I've spoken to two pharmacists for consultation on a new medication and they were both super helpful and answered all questions and concerns. This is my new favorite pharmacy, I love getting my meds here.

I had a really stressful experience with my prescription this week, but the team at CVS truly came…read morethrough for me. My medication was supposed to be sent electronically by my PCP about a week ago, but when I went in for pickup, it never went through. Since I was completely out, one of the pharmacists kindly gave me a few tablets to hold me over while she tried to resubmit the refill. The next day, I went back to my PCP and asked them to resend it. Four hours later, I returned to CVS, but unfortunately, it still hadn't gone through. That's when Cinthia stepped in. She immediately took the initiative to call my doctor's office and made sure everything was sorted out so I could get my medication that same day. I'm incredibly grateful for her help--it meant a lot, especially since I really needed my meds. Eyleene at the front was also very friendly and helpful throughout the process. Shoutout to Cinthia and Eyleene for their exceptional service. The whole team here is great, and I truly appreciate their care and willingness to help!

Shopping in Arcadia, California…read more.. I was looking for postcards to mail to friends... Walking up and down the aisles for many minutes, I went to the front to ask staff. She thought that I meant gift cards... Nope... She asked another staff who said that they don't have any. I guess I need to go to a more touristy location... LOL! I do appreciate the free parking, sale items, and loyalty program. After purchasing a few gifts and using my monetary rewards at the self-service kiosk, i received a long printout of coupons. I'll save them because they might come in handy!

By 10:15am they saw my companion and by 1115am were out of there with the prescribed meds! Of course we had it filled at the same pharmacy. It took them 30mins to fill. Overall experience was exceptional good for a filled place and giving walks no option and at their mercy! The ambience was full of miserable patients. Not enough skilled staff. Yet they were happy enough to accept hundreds in cash if insurance is not accepted. Please be wary and try to plan ahead which doctors to see incase of emergency! Your wallets will get lighter if you do not and the care is is just average.

He had to look the items up on his mobile so I would be charged correctly. Also he showed me how to use my gift cards had I used the self check, but since i was at his register, he input the cards at and told me what the value was....I gave permission to use them. Pedro was thorough thoughtful and meticulous, which I appreciated. I was disappointed that the store did not stock or were out of stock on items i needed...such as water booties, beach towels, or one-piece women's bathing suits (what was on the floor were all bikinis)....in other words, the store did not stock the merchandise I came in to purchase..alas...2/5 Staff were very nice and helpful, guiding me to sections of the store and one even escorted me. Again, five star customer service for the two associates I had to stop as they walked the floor on some other task. Both stopped and assisted me and were very friendly.

This is now my second frustrating experience at this Target in less than two weeks, and both visits…read morehave had the same underlying issue: poor communication, lack of organization, and making simple purchases unnecessarily difficult. On my first visit, I stopped at the Target snack bar for something quick. There was no visible sign indicating that the food counter was not operating normally. I stood there waiting before eventually noticing a piece of paper lying flat on the counter telling customers to order through Starbucks. By then, the Starbucks line had more than 10 people in it and appeared to be staffed by only two employees. After waiting another 10+ minutes, I finally got to the register and asked for popcorn, only to be told, "We're not making it today." Apparently they were only serving the Pizza Hut items that had already been prepared. That would have been completely understandable if there had simply been a clear sign saying what was and was not available. Instead, I wasted time waiting at one counter, then waiting in a long Starbucks line, just to find out the item was not being offered. On my second visit, less than two weeks later, the Target food counter actually had a separate employee working it. There were even multiple bags of popcorn visibly sitting behind the counter. I asked for a large popcorn and was told they did not have any and were only serving Pizza Hut items. When I asked if popcorn could be made, I was then told the machine was not working. So on one visit it was "we're not making it today," and on the next visit the machine was supposedly out of service. Either way, why is there no clear signage? If the popcorn machine is broken, put an "Out of Service" sign on it. If only Pizza Hut items are available, say that. If hot dogs, popcorn, Icees, etc. are not being sold, why have a full menu posted as though they are available? During the same visit, I tried shopping the women's underwear section during an Auden 5-for-$25 promotion. The area was extremely disorganized. Many drawers were nearly empty, sizes and styles were mixed together, and I went through all three display areas, including drawers labeled for sizes other than mine, just to find five pieces I was willing to purchase. At self-checkout, I found out that two of the five did not qualify for the promotion because apparently only certain price points are included. The problem is that none of the individual items had visible prices on them. I asked the employee how a customer is supposed to know which ones qualify without having an employee scanner. She scanned the items and explained the price limitation, but that still did not answer the real question. How is the customer supposed to know while shopping when the merchandise is mixed together, the drawers are poorly organized, and the items themselves have no pricing? I was then told I could "just get two more" and directed back toward the same displays I had already thoroughly searched. That was frustrating because I had already spent a significant amount of time going through essentially every drawer trying to find something in my size. Neither issue by itself is catastrophic. The problem is that customers should not have to work this hard just to figure out what food is actually available, what merchandise costs, or what qualifies for an advertised promotion. I have shopped at Target for decades , and there are other locations that are much cleaner, better stocked, better organized, and provide a much smoother customer experience. After two disappointing visits in roughly 10 days, I am not particularly inclined to give this location a third chance.
