His presence, his help, his advice, his demonstration of proper technique based on the arrangement philosophy of designing a pot landscape using the "THRILLER, FILLER, SPILLER" strategy was so insightful!! Parking- I just did the paid parking in the structure since it was closer. It was $8 for 2 hours. The komodama class was around $70 and you get to take home 2 you've made. The instructor was patient, helpful and had good instructions. The group had many follow up questions and he explained things well. They gave us a good assortment to choose from to make the kokadama. After we finished making them, we wanted cute vases and the instructor helped us find the best fitting one for our plant. The whole store is filled with adorable plants and accessories. I walked out of there thinking I'll be able to keep my plants alive but it's a serious challenge. Overall, highly recommend taking a class from Pigment. It's a fun way to have a day date where you use your hands and enjoy their beautiful outside patio.

This is definitely a good place geared for someone looking for a unique trinket or someone who like interior design. It is also just fun to window shop here. Unfortunately, the overall experience with We Are Fabrics was disappointing because of the timeline and communication. When I first went in to select my fabric, I explained that I was hoping to have the project completed as quickly as possible. Since it was a custom job requiring the upholsterers to come to my home for measurements, I specifically asked about scheduling. I was told the project would probably take about six weeks. Instead, it took approximately 12 weeks from the time I placed my order and paid my deposit until I received my cushions. As the weeks went by, I had to call several times for updates. That's when I was told the upholsterers were extremely busy and backed up. I completely understand that delays happen, but I wish that had been communicated when I first started the project. Had I known the upholstery department was already booked out, I would have had realistic expectations and been much less frustrated by the delays. If you're considering We Are Fabrics, I think you can expect excellent craftsmanship. Just be sure to ask for a realistic timeline before starting your project.
