HEED THE WARNINGS AND SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE -- JUST CALL AN UBER OR ANOTHER TAXI COMPANY! Trust me; depend on them and you WILL be sorry. If you're going to the airport, I am especially talking to you! I have never dealt with such an unreliable and shady cab company in all of my life. All of the drivers (except Sam) have bad attitudes, and most of their cabs are FILTHY and smell like rolling ASH TRAYS masked with MUSKY FUNK, and most of the drivers I've had were extremely arrogant in the sense that if you're not going very far in the cab, you can expect a straight-up stank attitude from the driver from start to finish. And when I say that, I mean that, because I live within 1 mile of the airport, when they arrive and find out that's where I'm headed, they cop funky little attitudes because they know they get no surcharge for going into the airport (only out). Trifling. Just all around unpleasant. I recently booked online 2 hours ahead of time. 40 minutes AFTER my scheduled pick-up time a cab comes creeping up the street, notwithstanding that I booked 2 HOURS AHEAD OF TIME. My encounters with their incompetent dispatchers only exacerbated my aggravation. First, I called at the 5 minutes late mark, just to make sure a driver was enroute. I spoke to a "Tamika," who incidentally was the same girl that called to CONFIRM my online reservation shortly after I made it. Tamika claimed that a driver had already picked me up? Come on now. Like, seriously. Now I was getting irritated. I attempted to impart on her that that simply could not be since I had been waiting in the spot for pickup for 15 minutes and since I was obviously telling her I was NOT picked up. She put me on hold then came back on the line after a few minutes. She claimed a driver was now enroute and was "5 minutes away." 15 minutes later, still, no driver. I call the dispatch center again. I'm back on the line with Tamika and now I've lost all my patience with whatever games she's playing. Honestly, she sounded high drugs and lethargic, but I digress. Tamika now claimed that the driver was at the wrong address, but that he would be to my location "within 2-3 minutes." "Give him about 2-3 minutes," she said. 10 minutes later, still, no driver. I call dispatch again. This time, I'm on with "Karina." Karina proceeded to claim that a driver was "around the corner." By now, having heard this BS twice before from Tamika, I'd begun to think that they were playing some kind of sadistic game. I explained to Karina -- in not so patient terms -- that I'd heard the line she was giving me repeatedly from Tamika. Karina expressed utter indifference and kept repeating "Ma'am, I'm doing the best I can to help you," blah blah blah (you know how they do). Now, I'm furious. I hung up and sat there for a few more minutes. I get a call from Karina telling me that the cab is outside -- LIES. I WAS OUTSIDE, IN THE SAME SPOT FOR PICKUP. THERE WAS NO CAB. 5 minutes rolls by and finally a cab comes creeping up. OMFG. Never again. I was planning on booking them for another trip to the airport soon, but after this, and after reading the horror stories below, THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL I'd bank on them to get me to the airport in time for my flight. These people are FAR TOO UNRELIABLE to even be in business. What's more, they apparently have ZERO respect for people's time, or their money. And yet, they wonder why they're being overrun and made extinct by services like Uber. I've learned my lesson and will never again. SO DONE. Listen, if you're going to the airport, I assure you you'll do well to book SuperShuttle. -- the cost will be the same, but at least you can count on them showing up and not making you miss your flight. read more

Be careful. I did an online search for cabs in Culver City, and was directed to All Yellow Taxi. The website said "Culver City Cab" all over it. With a bunch of "Things do to in Culver City" links everywhere. I booked a cab online, then got a call saying that my Culver City address was outside of the service area. When I countered that the website said "Culver City Cab" I was told that no, this was "All Yellow Taxi." I still don't know what area they actually service. Shameless ploy to increase traffic to the website. It is to be expected, I guess, in this era of dishonest business, but annoying nonetheless. This is really just a review for the online service. The taxi driver was so nice that I had to sign up to write a review. Received both phone call and confirmation email. Taxi driver was 5 minutes early, and offered a great service. His name is Walter (a friendly old man). I brought my 6 month old baby with me, and Walter helped to carry, attach the child seat with a delightful manner. As I am new to the area, he also gave useful advice and suggestions regarding what places to go. He picked me up at my house, dropped me at my friends house, then when I personally asked him to pick me up again after 3 hours, and he showed up after exactly 3 hours! Have to agree with a previous poster about how shady this company is. I scheduled an online pick up from them and got a reasonable quote for drop off from my house to LAX. We live less than 10 minutes from LAX and are very close to El Segundo, where another Yelper gets picked up and dropped off to LAX frequently with no problems from this company. Immediately after scheduling my pick up online, and receiving confirmation from them via email, I received a call from a young lady on the phone. She was laughing and talking for ten seconds after I answered the phone and told me that I was "not in their service area." Huh? Could it be that I'm "not in their service area" because I won't be getting overcharged like other Yelpers for actually living close to LAX? Don't waste your time. So had to get to the LAX around 5pm - no way I wanna deal with traffic - ordering a taxi sounded like a great idea. Even did it online (love that- so convenient) they even offer a $2 coupon (saving $- even better) received a mail confirming the pick up AND an email. I'm golden! Fast forward to 10 minutes AFTER my slated pick up time I call them. I'm put on hold for 3+ minutes. Not cool. I call back and demand an answer-- seems even tho they confirmed with me nobody bothered to put my "order into the system". I live in Gardena which this company advertises they serve and was told later that 'they do not serve my area'. What do you do if a cab driver ALMOST RUNS YOU OVER, takes off with your stuff and the All Yellow dispatch / customer service does nothing to help you... even if you call immediately after the incident? ???? What if you call 5 more times and ask for management? What if you ask to have the driver STOP, secure your personal items that he basically STOLE (medication, keys and wallet ...with credit cards and HUNDREDS of dollars) but the dispatch tells you to file a lost and found report. And if you tell them your anti-seizure medication are needed immediately, don't make any special accommodations to help you... other than "We asked the driver to look, but he couldn't find any"???? I now understand why some people go crazy and start committing heinous crimes... because trying to get justice the legal and ethical way doesn't work. What will produce reconciliation swiftly and effectively??? Take matters into my own hands?? File a police report?? Take legal action?? ...or drive down there and shake things up myself to teach them that they can't CRAP all over customers.... I had a 1:30 pm flight out of LAX. I've had my share of good and bad experiences when calling a cab headed to the airport. Plus, I had never booked one from Redondo (my pickup) before. I decided to play it safe and order one at 11am. That way, if they didn't show up, or were late, I wouldn't be cutting it close. I called them...didn't do online because it was my first time using them and I am paranoid when it comes to taxis. I confirmed that they would call when they arrived to pick me up. At 10:45 I get an automated call saying that the cab is here. I finished up the rest of my packing in the last 5 minutes and headed out. The cabbie was friendly and helped load my carry-on bag into the Prius' trunk. He was amiable and chatted a bit on the way to the airport. I received a call in the cab, and he immediately turned off the radio to make sure I didn't have any distractions on the call. All in all a great experience. I read the previous review, and I can relate, as I have had similar experiences with other cab companies. However, my experience was awesome. Maybe it was because I wasn't traveling during rush hour? This is the third (and last) time I reserved a pick online and ahead of time. And this was the third time they were late 15-30 minutes in picking me up. Every time I am waiting there looking for the taxi and I call, they say they are 5 minutes away. The last time I called, when i asked what the point was in making a reservation ahead of time if they were going to always be late, the lady just hung up on me. Hung up on me. That in a nutshell shows their level of customer service now. This is sad because when I moved to the area they were always so happy and helpful and usually early. The price after tip (and the $3 discount coupon they send to you) was the same as or lower than the price estimate on their website. Most often, I use them to go to LAX. Previously I used SuperShuttle, but the price is close enough and I've had too many bad experiences with SuperShuttle that I now turn to All Yellow Taxi first. read more

This is going to be the last time I use this service. I scheduled a car for today at 5:50 pm. Someone called to confirm the pick-up time and day. I confirmed it. Then 5:55 pm came around and there was no car. I called and they said they had me reserved for tomorrow. The time before this I got a a guy who looked at the address I was headed toward (which was about a 10 minute drive, maybe twenty-five minutes on foot), and he told me I could've just walked and gotten some extra exercise. I made an online reservation for a wheelchair accessible taxi 3 hours in advance. I am outside waiting with my handicapped mother and they are now 20 minutes LATE! I called them and they said, "oh, your supposed to call 24 hours in advance if you need to reserve a wheelchair accessible taxi," yet it doesnt say that on their website. All he said is, sorry, we should have called you. This company offers the worst service in the Los Angeles area. My wife booked a pickup in Inglewood for a senior citizen friend who is wheel chair bounded. The individual who took the call was informed of the circumstances regarding the pickup having a surgery scheduled for the next day (02/12/18). The surgery was important due to the fact that it was to correct poor circulation in her leg. My wife was assured that the pickup would be on time and she was given a confirmation number. On 02/12/18 at approximately 7 am my wife received a courtesy call from the taxi company saying that there was no driver with a wheel accessible vehicle and there would be no pickup. Mind you the doctor's appointment was scheduled for 10 am (not enough time to schedule another pickup). Sad situation, sad company. Never again!!!! read more

WARNING, DO NOT CALL "ALL YELLOW TAXI" FOR A RIDE. I have tried to use All Yellow Taxi twice now with bad to disasterous results both times, I am done with this company. The All Yellow Taxi company indicates they service the South Bay area of Los Angeles. I used them once for a ride from Lomita to Alpine Village in Torrance that they took over 2 1/2 hours to show up when they indicated a 20-30 minute wait time. I have my suspicions now as to what happened but can not confirm they stayed in line at LAX until they got a hire and after delivering passenger they finally came to pick me up 2 1/2 hours later. Yesterday we received a discount coupon in the mail so I decided to try again even after reading the bad reviews on the internet. I made a reservation at 9:30 yesterday morning and received a Ride ID number for a pick up at 10:30 PM in San Pedro. I called at 9:45PM to confirm the ride was on time. The dispatch person then informed me there would not be a ride as they do not service San Pedro, when I indicated San Pedro was in the South Bay he said they consider anything in the Harbor Gateway as Los Angeles. He indicated they called at 9:30PM to inform me of the problem but I never received any calls or missed calls messages on my phone or anything on my email. Ended up calling another Taxi service at 10:00PM to get a ride home. Apparently All Yellow Taxi considers all of the South Bay (indicated on their website) as parts of Gardena, LAX and part of the costal strip of Manhatten Beach, Hermosa Beach and Redondo Beach. The rest of the South Bay is service by the mood of the people on duty as the dispatcher would not commit to any other cities on the phone in our conversation, only anything in the Harbor Gateway is Los Angeles definitely not and Lomita/Torrance is borderline if they service or not. All of that concidered they should have notified me of the problem when I made my reservation or at least shortly thereafter. To not make a notification attempt they would not show up until I called is totally unacceptable especially given they had over 12 hours knowing they do not service San Pedro or Lomita. I should have known better after reading the bad reviews and the first problem with this company but I will never make this mistake again and I suggest you take WARNING if you are considering calling "All Yellow" for a ride they WILL leave you stranded. I have used three other Taxi services in the South Bay with good to excellant results, I do not understand how this company can stay in business unless the business model is only picking up at LAX which they should state in the information and on the Website and stop accepting reservations for any other rides. read more

I booked a cab to take me to LAX. I confirmed my reservation by speaking with not one, but two persons at All Yellow Taxi. I also received an email confirmation. My cab did not arrive at the designated time so I called to check. They had my reservation but no one actually scheduled my cab. They had no other cabs in the area so I had to drive myself to the airport and because of flight times, I had to park in the garage at $30 per day for 4 days. Obviously, this was infuriating. A manager was supposed to call me but never did. I called back to discuss the situation with a manager but none were on duty? Really. They once again said a manager would call me. That was 5 days ago. Nothing. I would never ever ever use this company again. Let me say that again; I WOULD NEVER EVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY!!!! We were being picked up for an International flight at 4:15 in the morning. They were 30 minutes late. When we called they said "Well he's coming from Manhattan Beach" (we are in Redondo) I'm not sure what that meant. I was tired and as I got out I left my jewelry case in the cab and realized it as soon as we walked in the airline door. My husband called them and they said they couldn't find him and we'd have to check back later..we were flying out in a little over an hour. We need a taxi SUV since we had a lot of luggage called confirmed the night before.mon the receipt it says SUV only. What shows up was a Prius. Try traveling to the airport with 2 kids and car seats along with all the luggage that goes with them. Needless to say they had to call another Prius to come pick us up. I'm dealing with a number of health issues related to getting older, and am very sensitive to someone who is being thoughtful and kind. These guys were great. Too bad there is no zero rating. Took a cab ride to LAX. Asked for a receipt so I could get reimbursed for business. Driver lied to me and told me it would be emailed to me like Uber does. Never received it. Called four times to office and was promised that it would be emailed to me - lied again. Never received receipt. Called back again - no record of my trip - even though the earlier respondent told me the time of the trip, the tip amount (if I had known that I was dealing with incompetent liars, I would not have left a tip). Now it seems like I will need to pay for the ride out of my personal funds. My advice - stick to Uber! Can't wait until Uber and Lyft start servicing LAX. I ordered a VAN on their website three days before my trip. It was to take my family to the airport. Four people and lots of luggage. The taxi showed up on time, but it was a Prius. No way was it going to work. Strike one. The driver said the company would call a second car to take rest of the people and luggage. So now we're running 25 minutes late by the time he arrives. Strike two. I tell the driver the way I want him to go, based on the Waze app so we avoid traffic. He followed my directions for a while and since there were two drivers, he decided he needed to go his way the last three miles of the trip which added significant time and money to the cost. Strike three. One out. Then we get to the terminal and he wants me to pay him cash and also tip the other driver since the company was paying for the second taxi. I didn't have cash and why would I tip a second driver for the company's mistake. Strike four. I had given him a $5 off coupon that the company sends when you order a ride from their website at the very beginning of the trip. I reminded him of the coupon and he still didn't take the money off. Strike five. I contacted the company after returning from my trip to let them know my experience and they just refused to get back to me. Zero customer service. Strike six. Two outs. Get this, I just arrived in LA from Guam and booked them online. I had no phone and was in a parking garage at Westfield Mall. They didn't only track me down, Isaac went to each floor to find me and helped push all my stuff from Target up two floors. I've only tried them once, and cab # 56, Isaac, was really helpful. They have access and its the worst scehdule for drivers...who wver schedules the routes have no consideration for druvers or customers. If you start wirk at 5 am you won't finish till 8 pm or sometimes later....as a driver you will have a lot of down time in none rush hours...they will schedule longer rides on rush hours....i would not recommend working for alla yellow...plus the taxi lease is $650 per week...so you have to work like a slave.... read more

I needed transport to LAX for two people plus extra luggage (ski bags) and so I called All Yellow Taxi a few hours ahead to arrange van transportation. When the cab didn't arrive at the scheduled time, I called to inquire and was horrified when the phone representative was unable to confirm that a van was on the way. She said that no vans were "available" at this time. Obviously, this wasn't going to work and the company could have called to let me know. I hung up and called Uber XL, which had an SUV at my home within 10 minutes. To the credit of All Yellow Taxi, I received a call after another 10 minutes from someone who sounded like a supervisor and apologized for the error. She offered to send a van right away, but the arrival would have been 1/2 after the scheduled time. read more
