Well we have been with Mid-Fl Air for 10yrs. Al Taylor sold us our new unit. Thru those yrs Al did…read moreour service checks on our unit. No complaints had the 10 yr warrenty & the Silver maintence agreement. We had a service cleaning done recently. The fan motor was having issues & was replaced by our warrenty. Great & thank-you. But threw this process I understand Al Taylor is no longer with the company. He was our guy that we trusted. So Yoel was our service tech he looked the fan casing over & replied he see's mold. Of course not a good word to hear. He took his flashlight & shined it up into the fan casing. Replied he would also put in a new casing that holds the fan & motor is mounted on casing. Along with the new fan motor. Ok now Yoel arrives with Roland. Remember i heard the word MOLD. So Roland takes fan parts out & there is no new casing only the motor. He pulls old fan & replies oh no we are just going to spray & clean then reinstall. Of course i say what about the mold? Roland say's your fine you have a UV light. My question is, Is this a ploy to try to scare me into thinking I need a mold inspection that costs 5000.00 or to think mold in unit which might me think that the unit needs to be replaced. I am disappointed in Yoel & Roland. This is not a healthy way to do business! Like I said Al Taylor was our service tech. It is important to be able to trust who you are working with. So on that note once the trust is broken, the office staff is wonderful & I thank-you for the good service i recieved. Sorry but i am disappointed, i had a different company inspect the unit. It seems I will aquire a new UV light for added protection. Tom & Joleen Staffier

When do you call a plumber? Obviously, when it's raining and your roof is leaking. So, when do…read moreyou think I called Sun Kool? Correct - during our heat wave (8 days of 100+ degrees). . . . . a little background. I actually called Sun Kool back in March, regarding an inspection I was having done by another company. I was so uncomfortable with the 'technicians' that were in my home, that I called the contractor who built my house and asked for his recommendation. (should have done this in the 1st place) Well I spoke with Diane in their office and everything basically worked out ok (in March). When I called in late June when my system failed - I was afraid that due to the heat-wave, I wouldn't be able to have service for weeks. Well - Diane answered the phone and remembered our conversation from March. I was surprised and impressed. She rearranged some schedules and I had a technician at my home the following morning. After the diagnosis of a "dead system", all I could think about was sleeping in 95 degree heat. Instead, Sun-Kool filled my leaking freon and I was able to cool my home down for the next 48 hours until they could install a new system. They suggested several systems - I googled each one and decided on the Goodman 3 ton unit. Two men came to my home with everything they needed to install my new system, including building a new plywood platform for the air handler, dropping in a new cement pad, switching out my circuit breakers and taking away my dead system, pvc pipes and all. When they left (5 hours later) - you never would have know they were here. My home (inside and out) was spotless - I really appreciate that. The county inspector arrived a few days letter, signed off on all their work and I am pleased to recommend Sun-Kool for all your heating and air conditioning questions and needs.

I have their extended warranty but they are inconsistent and are horrible at follow up. I used…read moreTHEIR website for the "contact us" and they never got back to me in over a week. They came out for the visit and possibly discovered mold- and told me the office would be calling me with next steps. Surprise- no phone call. They did the work in Calesa Township and several people are reporting mold in their systems in less than 2 years. Sunkool has the business but their treatment of customers and lack of follow through is off putting.
