The coolest part is that the owner just gave me the best, straightforward advice. Cost was: $25 total for my 4 very large blankets (a couple of them were King size Pendletons, for reference). (I had never seen this size of a machine before... Laundry Genius is modern compared to the surrounding laundry mats. Coins are not used at all. Cash and/or credit/EBT cards are transferred to a Laundry Genius laundry card (think grocery store savings cards). There is a $1 service charge applied to the first transaction. Be sure to save this card for future uses to avoid the $ service charge each time. Pricing is clearly listed at the card terminal area. Laundry Genius doesn't open as early as other mats do; opening is at 9am. Last wash is at 7:30pm. Indoors is spacious and bright. Washing and dryer machines are plentiful. Several rolling basket carts are available to assist with laundry transportation. There is a good deal of seats for those who wish to stay on-site while doing their laundry. Vending machines are on site providing laundry detergent, fabric softener, dryer sheets, non-alcoholic drinks and snacks. I spend around $18 to wash my comforter and around $3.50 to dry it. At first, I was shocked at the price difference from surrounding mats; however, you get what you pay for. Increased pricing saves me time by not having to search high and low for quarters. Quality and the quantity of machines ensures that I do not have to wait for availability or continue to add time and money to drying times. I appreciate that the staff are constantly walking around wiping down machines, sweeping and replacing laundry carts to their correct location making my entire experience feel clean and efficient.

I have been a customer at this Laundromat for almost 2 years. I usually go once or sometimes twice…read morea week. I am always polite and respectful. The female staff is very professional. But I do have valid complaint regarding the manager who also owns the business. Today I did my laundry in an older machine. It's at the back row and 4.00. Because it was very busy , it was the only machine available, so I put it xtra clothes in the machine. This is the only time I have done this. I'm not the only customer who has done this and I most likely won't be the last. After loading the machine I went to sit outside , and then when I returned , the lid of the washer was up. The manager was at the sink and instead of saying to me, "Excuse me miss but you put too many clothes in the machine. Please don't overload next time". But he proceeded to communicate to me in a very condescending way, that was rude, and belittling, and rolling his eyes at me like I am completely stupid. Then he proceeded to tell me that the engine of the machine was giving off an unpleasant odour can't I smell it, and it's ruining the machine. And because of me the cost of doing laundry goes up for everyone. ( lol... all because of me heh lol) There was no odour. That machine is used over and over again, so for me overloading , is not going to be my fault. So then I asked him if it's ok if I put the lid down of the washer, so the wash could finish, there were 4 minutes left. He replied " Oh... what are you trying to ask me now?", in a snitty rude arrogant voice. Then he says " Oh and that's not washing." and rolls his eyes , shakes his head and rudely walks away. Lots of machines, lots of room, ATM, change machine, detergent vending machines, on-site attendant with more detergent and snacks for sale, carts, countertops, even little sitting areas including a TV, magazines, and chairs. It was so clean; the attendant never stopped flying around, wiping down counters, vacuuming the floors, and scrubbing chairs. Plus, the machine I chose was HUGE!! I was prepared to do 3 loads but it all fit in one. I was also prepared to be there for hours, but once again, I was happily blown away: 15 minutes in that turbo machine and my clothing was spic-and-span, and 36 minutes in the corresponding dryer was more than enough. The wash cost me $4.25 and the dryer was 25c/4minutes. There were other machines too but I don't know why you'd use them. I was dreading laundry day, but it was painless and I was practically giddy with excitement! Also, I believe they are open 7days/week but I don't remember the hours. Mostly 9am-10:30pm with the request that all loads begin before 9:30pm.

They have plenty of washers and dryers and I did all my laundry (which would have been 12 loads at home) in two of the XL washers. Looking back, I could have used smaller washers to do them but that's okay. The XL washers cost $13.25. Feels like a really good deal. The place was clean with nice sinks, granite countertops... I'm so impressed.
