On 1 occasion I had another customer cuss me out for the reason my white boxer followed me into the building.. I ignored his blatant rude arrogance. A few weeks later? This same older South American male, 50-55 once again decided to curse me out simply bc my boxer again slightly stepped foot into the side door of facilty. This same man? Also had his young son with him, raising his arms cursing me. This time I invited him outside to say this to my face, enough of his obnoxious mouth. He called the police instead, and I stuck around to explain not just this incident, but also the previous verbal tirade this hot head spews.. The owners? Decided to 86 me, and I've not returned since nor will I Ever if this is how they conduct business all they are afraid of so.me random middle aged Hispanic man who has anger issues.. Oh,plenty of patrons sit in that front lobby with small dogs in thier laps but not 1 of them stuck up for this Disabled veteran.. You've earned a life long Boycott DM... Count on me telling everyone I know about your Business.. Couldn't think of more deserving business that has had several Equipment fires due to shoddy maint, being overlooked... Driers that suddenly ignite due to dangerous amounts of dry clothing lint. Owners weren't even on premises to witness both occurrences of this bully who also parked his vehicle on the side of the facility which is clearly marked "No Parking".. A few days later I showed up unannounced with the laundry and some exacting instructions. Again she was very pleasant to speak with. She stated the delivery date and gave me my receipt. The day before the scheduled pickup she called and asked if I would like anything on hangers. I asked her to just stack everything up and she did. When I arrived to pick up the laundry she indicated that the whites and colored clothes were in separate bags in order to comply with my request to give back to me very very damp shirts, pants etc, anything colored. My clothes have zero smell to them. Everything was very clean, even the things I had worn camping that were quite soiled and smelled, had bug spray etc. Everything was perfectly neatly folded, even my underwear and socks were folded in individual little bags. She delivered according to my ask and to my 100% satisfaction, and with courtesy and kindness. This is definitely one the best if not THE best wash and fold experience I've had across the USA over the past 3 years. I've heard the family who owns the two businesses has recently passed it down, or a new family has recently taken over or something, but that is no excuse to treat customers extremely poorly. The machines here are gross, your items will likely be lost or damaged here, and you will definitely waste your money here.

When I arrived, it was explained that they used to send out to a place in Seattle which has since closed. They now do it themselves but have only done some and all were successful. I appreciated this information upfront and decided to give them a try. I was given a quote and a time frame of two days, maybe over the weekend. I received the text it was ready the next day. When I did arrive, the price was the same as the quote. The jacket turned out beautiful. They took their time and delivered on their promises. Super helpful staff. Will trust them again for any other items I need cleaned!

Me and my girlfriend (20) are moving and we stopped to wash 2 loads of laundry, we pay OVER 50 total for two loads &we step out for less than an hour (we timed it and our dryer was still on) and the older Mexican lady employed who was in Thursday April16 TAKES OUR CLOTHES OUT OF THE WASHER, in this case there WAS an available washer that JUST needed to be WIPED DOWN next to ours, instead of wiping the dog fur out for the person who needed the washer (she had over 2 hours to clean it but was talking to customers about personal life instead), she decided dumping our wet clothes in a cart for anyone to grab near the door was a better idea. When we returned, she quickly started cleaning the dirty washing machine to pretend like she was in the process of it before we got back. I then asked her who took the clothes out and she admitted it was her. me and my girlfriend share a look of disgust and violation that the woman working just grabbed our undergarments. All we say is okay and we start grabbing our stuff, it's not a big deal we just won't come back again right? Wrong, she proceeded to talk and joke about us to a customer, pointing and laughing at us. My girlfriend noticed while buying bags from the machine and only mentioned to them that "she speaks Spanish too and can understand them" which they both are shocked and stop talking immediately, if it ended there I wouldn't be making the post of our horror story experience here. unfortunately, she goes on to follow us to the back where we were already packing up to go, she then proceeds to try to lie her way out of it and claim that she was talking about the "girl who left the previously mentioned open washer dirty" she was pointing and telling the customer "that girl right there" , when the washer had been dirty since we first walked in at 5am to start washing. She quickly starts harassing my girlfriend trying to make excuses, my girlfriend and I do not want to hear it, all she responds is "okay, that's fine, just don't talk to me" The lady then begins to get defensive, trying to force a response from my girlfriend , which she only responded to saying "I thought what you did was rude, it was unprofessional, it was wrong, and nasty. That's all, we won't be giving you more money we just want to leave, just don't talk to me" She then starts screaming at my girlfriends face telling her that "oh well the manager isn't here" WHICH SHE RESPONDS WITH " it's fine we don't want to talk to him, OR YOU, please leave me alone" My girlfriend goes on to say "please leave me alone" over 5 times during this, the employee then got mad and started threatening her with police and saying she was going to call the cops because my girlfriend was "rude".. Obviously she responds saying "go ahead, call the cops, they can't arrest ME for telling YOU to leave me alone" She immediately goes to the corner and starts group insulting and laughing/recording us. This place is absolutely disgusting, more like the employees. The actual laundromat was decently clean and what you would expect from most laundromats, however the employees are NOT fit for this work, rude, and honestly unsafe to be around. We felt extremely singled out and harassed. I don't even know weather or not to even report this elsewhere, the laundromat doesn't deserve to be reported because they hired one bad employee. Please do something about this, no one deserves to already be having a hard time trying to go to peacefully wash clothes we're PAYING over 50$ to wash, to be insulted and harassed. It was about 30 min b4 I realized it hadn't started washing. It continued to rotate, despite jiggling the handle, and unable to stop it, get my laundry out & move it to another machine. At 7:45AM I texted & called both emergency numbers posted (new owners) listed on wall, for issues. Both phn #'s went straight to voicemail. Slow to respond, I received a text at 8:19AM, from the owner saying "Sorry just waking up. Try setting the temp to warm. I'll be down in 20-30 min to help. Please let me get up n ready. Thank you." Sounds like he already knew that machine wouldn't wash on hot, but had never posted a sign! I did suggest he "post a sign on the machine...", in my text! Meanwhile, my other 2 loads had completed both wash & drying cycles by 8:20AM. The 3rd load FINALLY finished washing at 8:57AM. It's now 9:46AM & I'm going to take my mattress cover out of dryer to finish drying while hanging over deck rails at home. Tired of wasting my valuable 2 day off this week in a hot, humid laundromat. It's frustrating, as I had purposely timed this process so everything would be done simultaneously. I live 20 mins away so can't leave. The owner's lack of oversight cost me 1-1/2 hrs of (extremely limited) time-off.

I called the number that's listed Inside the laundromat left a very polite message. I just would like my $2 back. I got no return call. I got nothing. A gentleman overheard my conversation with my husband of what it just happened. He told me he had called the owner about an hour before. I don't know all the details about his problem, but he said was not cooperative or helpful and had really bad Customer Service according to him. Beware!! I agree! if she did this to me, I know she's doing it to other people. Viking laundry mat is not on the Stanwood chamber of commerce.
