The entire process of getting an estimate took 2 business days. I requested an estimate via Yelp Sunday afternoon and received their bid Tuesday afternoon. I decided not to go with Bode's Electric because their estimate was on the higher side among the several estimates I received. In fact, their estimate along with a few others were significantly higher than a couple of bids from other companies in town (more than double). Note: Although they are listed as different companies, Bode's and West Mechanical appear to be the same company. Switch comes recommended by COSTCO and so I called them. Their guy came and determined our home's layout would make installation of a "permanent" natural gas-powered generator, such as a Generac, impossible and a backup battery seemed cost-prohibitive. And so, I worked with them to decide on purchasing my own portable "tri-fuel" generator from COSTCO. And then Switch Electric came and, in one day, installed the appropriate connections to our natural gas line and electrical breaker box. He stayed until the generator was set up, connected, and the whole system tested. I'm MOST happy with having selected this company and MOST HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!
