Overall the hotel is nice and new-ish. It's modern and fun…read more At the front desk they have complimentary pretzels and m&ms. There's also free coffee/ tea in the morning and a drinking water station. Snacks and ramen etc are for purchase. The lobby area has plenty of seating and sofas, fireplaces, foosball, etc.. I happened to be at the bar on Tuesday night where they have Trivia. I talked to one of the locals that goes there weekly to play for cash prizes! Nice vibe. They told me that the hotel rooms are European style with no closet. It was hard to get used to but I made it work and hung my clothes on the hooks and hangers provided on the wall. Oh and my room window had a cow that looked into the Google office space. Ha My TV worked great and had good cable tv options. I used the cute little lantern as a night light when I went to sleep. The bathroom was super clean and I liked the aesthetic of the black shower head hardware with the white tiles. Beds and linen were comfy but I felt like the modern vibe had me in IKEA versus a true Marriott or St Regis feeling of a traditional hotel. In other words this hotel doesn't have 700 count Egyptian cotton linen. No complaints about noise or pests or dirt. Very comfortable stay with a good night sleep. Overall I was very happy!

There is no food service so you have to go out looking for breakfast although there is coffee in the lobby. Our room had no closets or anywhere really to put your clothes. The bed side tables were so tiny that it was hard to accommodate my phone, charger, glasses etc. Our toilet clogged up but they got some one up right away. They are dog friendly. I doubt I would stay there again.

Food 3.5/5 Service 4.5/5…read moreAmbiance 4.5/5 A charming, Beatles-themed bar, The Rigby seemed like a fun place to hang out - and I definitely wasn't wrong. The bartenders were nice, the environment was super casual, and live music is always a lovely experience. The $3 shot wheel was also great - my friends and I had a blast with all the random liquor we rolled. The only food I can really review was the tator tots, which were amazingly fried. Perfect texture on a tator tot, and the Cajun seasoning was nice - albeit a little on the salty side (perfect with a good drink in hand!). Overall I really liked this place! Only thing I regret was that I needed to take more pictures...

I'm writing this in anger at myself... why haven't I come here sooner?…read more I grabbed lunch here. It's so spacious, I'm surprised it's not busier! They offer some cooking related goods, wine, meal kits, deli items, baked goods and other beverages. I ordered the prime rib sandwich with the horseradish cream on the side. The caramelized onions were fantastic! I loved the edges of the sandwich because they had some crunch to it. I'm not a fan of horseradish so I opted it on the side, adding it sparingly. The salad was refreshing. The side of potatoes were SOOOO good. I've never had something as crispy as these! I'll be back again for lunch!

The food was delivered 21 minutes away, arriving exactly at the promised time, 100% complete, with some trays still too hot to touch. I included bread & supplies with the order, and the delivery included plenty of serving spoons & tongs, utensils, plates, & napkins. Brisket and sauce were fantastic. The chicken needs work--dry and low flavor. The hamburger buns were very bready and big, too big for many. The sides were fun and interesting new flavors. The slaw was tasty-tangy but very white--challenging those who like their vegetables green. Sorry folks. The beans were super popular. I would get them again, all of those sides. But the chicken...you might go in and taste-test it first. On the front end, it was so easy to arrange for this catering through the website and email. The communication was prompt and accurate. Changes, inquiries, and payment were handled seamlessly. I arranged for this food from long distance, and Beef&Butter really came through. It's a little more expensive than some other Madison options but in the end I was really happy to support this business and the people running it. I wish them great success in the future.

Sides were pretty good too. However, I have to say the brisket was a bit of a disappointment - it was way overcooked, like it had been smoked at too high of a temperature. It was edible but really dry. Just overcooked or held too long. Had to douse it in sauce to eat it which is a total shame. Would have been a 5 star rating if not for the brisket. I'd come back again, maybe when they were busier.
