Our move wasn't estimated properly and took twice as long (twice the cost) as we thought it would. Not everything fit on the van and we had to skip a scheduled stop at our storage unit. Going back the next day (and then some) was a serious pain. The actual movers did a fine job. They were moving as fast as they could. I have used this company 2 times within 3 months. Moving furniture from sold house to storage was fine. We moved furniture from storage to new house. I had a very expensive bed destroyed, hardwood floors scratched and several other issues. The company hasn't responded to any of my requests to fix the bed. I have contacted them several times and need to contact an attorney for resolution. I would not recommend using this company. read more

So, I have only dealt with moving companies one or two times in my life and it was for work where someone else did the organizing of the move. Well, Let me just say I will forever be grateful for Ron Motes and his crew at All Star Movers. I was in the process of moving from Smyrna, GA to Villa Rica, GA and gotten to a point that my mom and I just needed to move furniture but some was at one location, some was in a storage unit at another location and all had to be moved to a house in Villa Rica, GA. I had scheduled for a nother company to do it but for some reason they got there calendar set up wrong and were not able to do it. I called All Star late in the afternoon on 11/24/17, left a voicemail, was called back within minutes and I missed the call, finally able to talk to Ron Motes told him what I was needing and he said no problem we can do it. I was on the schedule for 9:30 AM on 11/27/17, the three guys he sent to me Lenny, Jeff and Justin were my angels. They moved the things that two 5'2" women (one being a senior lady and myself just couldn't move by ourselves). They came in at one location dismantled a bedroom suit, the base for an adjustable bed, and then having to go to a storage unit to get some other furniture. They were absolute dreams and fun loving, helpful demeaned and attitudes that All companies should be. I will forever be a loyal customer should I ever need to move again, but I will gratefully recommend this company to anyone and everyone if you are in need to move. Well, I must say that this was the absolute BEST moving experience I have ever had, ever!!!! And... like most of you, we have all had bad moving experiences. On time, well prepared, consummate professionals. This was a difficult move - up 2 flights of stairs - heavy furniture and these guys were champs!!! The way these guys acted as a team was unbelievable! All my things were delivered in perfect condition, even my fragile glass collection and if that does not speak to a careful, capable moving company, I don't know what better can! I hate to issue this negative review but it's absolutely warranted. I've used All Star Movers 4 times now... they've been great but this last move was a disaster. When I called to book I told them I was a previous customer. Not only was I charged regular price, after one of the workers told me I should have gotten a discount, but they only sent 1 truck with 3 guys (1 guy was on his 3rd week with the company). The appointment setter asked me what crew they sent last time (acknowledging I was a previous customer... no discount) and I told him 1 large truck with 3 guys, but I am moving a 5500+ sq foot house this time. They are supposedly the professionals and send me 1 crew... (1 crew = twice as long, twice as much money... just sad) well anyway, after the 2nd day and 25 hours later... not to mention VERY generous tips to the crew because of how hard they worked... I was told the "boss" was going to call me to talk about the issues, which he never did and the "lead" guy of the moving crew ignores messages as well. We will be moving again in a year and WILL NOT use these guys again. If this is how you treat returning customers, I hope you never get another one. Just pathetic customers service and took advantage of my kindness. They obviously needed the money more than I did so I hope it was worth it. Awful. read more

Great moving company...I've moved several times around the country and locally...this was one of the best experiences that I've had with a moving company...they were polite, fast and best of all very careful with my furnishing...I have very large pieces and not one piece was damaged, scratched or broken...I would highly recommend them to anyone that is moving...thanks! read more

I would NOT recommend this moving company. The movers from Villa Rica All Star Movers were extremely slow. Three men showed up for the move. They had one man wrap furniture while the other two men just stood around while the clock was running. I took 7 hours when it should have only taken 4. I had a friend also help with the move and he had to rent a extra trailer just to get the job done. After being exhausted and finally looking at some of the items moved I found a tear in my leather couch and my stereo cabinet ( which I've moved on my own several times with no damage) was damaged the bottom corner so the glass door won't stay on.. Very disappointed and feel like I was charged way to much !! read more
