I had dropped off my bridesmaid dress at the end of August to get hem and dried cleaned. I was originally quoted 20 bucks over the weekend I had been called by a gentleman notifying me that the total would be 50 bucks and it would take 2 weeks, I would receive a call once it's completed. Never got a call, came into day and my bill is 100 dollars. Now I'm already confused to why I never got a call when it was finished and now my bill was tripled. Vicki is going back and forth with the owner/manager of Braxton's and she said the bill will Be now 79.99. And I'm confused to why this was never communicated, I had asked to speak to the manager and if it would be ok, I can hear her over the phone and she says "no it's not ok, but I guess I will" already from the start bad attitude. And I tried to explain in a calm matter my frustration, and confusion on why I was never notified about the new price and I had said "isn't it your job to let me know?" And manager said "no the alternations work for us" she had finally dropped it to the price the gentleman had said the second time $50. But my point is if you're a manager of a company it is your job to listen and understand the customer issue. Also, if the alternations work for you they are still apart of your company and partially represent you. I work for GE and I work in the customer service department and we never practice or show such negative attitude or lack of understanding of each situation. And I'm really upset that I had came to this cleaner as to support a business that my boyfriend had recommended. I def don't recommend this dry cleaner. And I could've gotten this done in west Chester for 25 bucks if I would've know they would try to charge me 80. I'm extremely upset that I was spoken to so unkind and I highly recommend manager to get an attitude check or to attend a management class. Awful treatment and she could use some improvement. But Vicki who was the cashier was very kind and understanding and her customer service was appreciated.

I was lucky enough to know about the Washing Well already, so I hauled my clothes across town to check it out. I was definitely pleased with my experience. In addition to being newer and cleaner than the laundromats from my college days, the prices are also very reasonable. I do appreciate that they always have an attendant on duty to help, since I couldn't figure out the machines on my own at first. The space is a little small, but the days I went were pretty warm so I hung out in the outdoor garden area while my laundry finished up. Overall, I would totally go back if I were in need of a laundromat again!
