we have took our laundry here for almost 3 years and as long as one of the ladies like Mrs.Debbie does your drop off everything will be great I mean like perfection but a new girl has been doing them past couple weeks and I am missing a pair of miss me jeans and a pair of rock revivals an one pair all messed up and yes I have pics of the jeans and can get videos of me at work wearing them the day before drop off showing that the where just fine the owner has not called to talk to me only my husband said he was going to look at his video cameras and when my husband called him back, his reply was that the whole story just seems exaggerated and that he thinks we just shouldn't go back, I completely agree, considering the expensive jeans I am now out and he has yet to check his footage or anything like that or he did and he's just covering so he wouldn't have to reimburse me for damages because I'm sure he would see her do something with some my jeans and absolutely would see the kind of damages that were done to match jeans when she folded them up but these days I really wouldn't expect anything different It's all about a dollar instead of doing what is right so if you do go there and are dropping things off and going back the next day to pick them up. I highly recommend you finding out when somebody like Miss Debbie is working and go then if it happened to me and he refuses to do anything about it or even acknowledge the then you can absolutely believe it is going to happen to a lot of other people read more

A little dated, but all in working order. A boob tube would be nice. I had to stare at a dryer for 20 minutes. I left cleaner than I arrived. They had other humans there, ugh. I was able to avoid conversation due to the large layout. I will return when my pants stand on their own. read more

Attendant on duty was nice and helpful and answered all my questions. I thought it was clean and well maintained. Customers were very polite and considerate. Only thing that would make it better is a machine that takes a debit card to dispense coins. I was low on cash. read more

Reviewing a laundromat? Yep, reviewing a laundromat. Having recently moved from a house to a one bedroom apartment in Burlington, KY, I found myself in need of a laundromat. The apartment complex that I moved in to has very limited laundry facilities; like 2 washers & 2 dryers. The apartment itself has hookups, but renting is $30/month and I am not certain I want to invest in buying machines for myself, co the coin-op laundry it is. I found 2 such facilities in Florence, one is a 24/7 business on Hwy 18, just off I71-75 and the other is Five Star. I have been to both and while the cost for both is similar and although Five Star's hours are more limited, I choose to frequent Five Star. They open at 7:00 AM and welcome customers in the door until 8:30 PM, with everyone needing to be out by 10:30 when they close for the night. Hours are 6 days a week, being closed on Sundays. It is a large facility, not at all cramped, with plenty of washer options, both top and front load, to best fit the size of the load you are washing. Dryers line the walls on both sides, with a total of 8 folding stations, one on each end of each bank of washers. There are also rack for the clothing that hangs rather than folds. I have not used it, but they also offer a drop off service, drop off the dirty laundry, pick it up clean and folded. At my request, one of the staff, Debbie (look for the pleasant woman in the "I heart NY" sweatshirt), showed me the secret to folding fitted sheets, rather than just ending up with a big ball and the next time in (2 weeks later), she checked to see if I remembered. Looking for something to do while the clothes are in the washer/dryer? Hungry? Five Star is situated between a Subway and a Dairy Queen and across the street from 2 pizza places, a Burger King and a bakery. Hope your clothes still fit by the time you get back! read more

If I could give zero stars to this place I would. Since my washer and dryer are still not hooked up, I decided to give this place a try. Well, it seems like the people working there are only nice to their regular customers, I washed my stuff and then put it in a dryer. I guess I shouldn't have done that, because apparently some girl was going to use it and was blocking it. As a paying customer, I believe I can use whatever I want. So next thing I know, she goes to the lady working there and I just hear them saying "what a bitch". Wow! I didn't know I couldn't use that dryer, I mean considering I was gonna be there for another 12 minutes. And I don't think that's the way someone working there should react. Anyway, be careful using the dryers! Someone can call you names for it. So, I guess my money is worth nothing there, I'll find some place where it is worth something. Never coming back. As a new resident in the Florence area I was frustrated with the lack of nearby options to do my laundry. Imagine my luck when I stumbled upon this laundromat. Not military friendly. The ladies at the counter didn't seem confident about being able to do the military jacket. I brought in Marine Blues and specifically told them if you can't call me and I'll come back and pick it up. There was a question about all the buttons and hardware on the jacket. I received no call but when I picked up the jacket one of the gold EGA was missing. I was told basically "too bad". The lady at the counter tried to get the EGA off and they are securely fastened to the jacket and couldn't even lift it up. There was no military discount either, so fyi don't take anything there if it is valuable and has a lot of buttons. I want 0 stars. read more
