This is my first time here and I was recommended by my boyfriend who goes almost every week to dry…read moreclean his clothes. Vicki at the front desk might have been the sweetest person I met since I moved back to cincy/northern Ky area. I had dropped off my bridesmaid dress at the end of August to get hem and dried cleaned. I was originally quoted 20 bucks over the weekend I had been called by a gentleman notifying me that the total would be 50 bucks and it would take 2 weeks, I would receive a call once it's completed. Never got a call, came into day and my bill is 100 dollars. Now I'm already confused to why I never got a call when it was finished and now my bill was tripled. Vicki is going back and forth with the owner/manager of Braxton's and she said the bill will Be now 79.99. And I'm confused to why this was never communicated, I had asked to speak to the manager and if it would be ok, I can hear her over the phone and she says "no it's not ok, but I guess I will" already from the start bad attitude. And I tried to explain in a calm matter my frustration, and confusion on why I was never notified about the new price and I had said "isn't it your job to let me know?" And manager said "no the alternations work for us" she had finally dropped it to the price the gentleman had said the second time $50. But my point is if you're a manager of a company it is your job to listen and understand the customer issue. Also, if the alternations work for you they are still apart of your company and partially represent you. I work for GE and I work in the customer service department and we never practice or show such negative attitude or lack of understanding of each situation. And I'm really upset that I had came to this cleaner as to support a business that my boyfriend had recommended. I def don't recommend this dry cleaner. And I could've gotten this done in west Chester for 25 bucks if I would've know they would try to charge me 80. I'm extremely upset that I was spoken to so unkind and I highly recommend manager to get an attitude check or to attend a management class. Awful treatment and she could use some improvement. But Vicki who was the cashier was very kind and understanding and her customer service was appreciated.

Regardless, I walked in the open door of this location at 12:59 or 1:00, and the attendant immediately and abruptly told me they close at 1:00. I have been a loyal customer of Braxton's for more than 25 years and this is the first time I felt there was no reciprocation for my loyalty. Despite the facts that the door was open, the attendant was available, and I had two large bags for dry cleaning/laundry, I was offered no service, simply told they were closed. Given this experience and the lack of any empathy or consideration, I am left no choice but to reconsider my choice for dry cleaning/laundry services. I would have preferred to have addressed my concern directly with Braxton's but their website is informational only. There is no option to contact them or provide any form of feedback.
