Showed up for less than a day and a half. That was Monday & Tuesday. No show Wednesday or Thursday. We were promised to have 2 crews come Friday & will stay until the job is completed. Only 2 guys showed, and they were here for over an hour & did nothing but talk on their phone & they reeked of marijuana. I called the company & told them, this is enough, I want them out of my house. We figured the only way to get them out of our house was to tell them they could keep the down payment of $1,900.00, and they agreed upon that we had to do what we had to do. Worse contractor I have ever seen in my life. DO NOT GO with this Company, Gerald Ariyam will promise you the world, this is not what you get!! We actually paid him $1,900.00 to paint OUR OWN house, we are elderly, and it took us over a week to fix their mess & finish the job. We have a cathedral ceiling, so it was not easy for us, but we did it. To be honest wish we didn't have to give any star's Monster Paint Worx does not deserve even 1 star!

When paint day arrived, the painter was here all day each day, busting his butt and going well above and beyond. Today, as I look over the work, I couldn't be happier. There are no paint chips in the mulch, no drips, and the house looks way better. My wife was so happy she baked choc chip cookies for the painter! Skye Painting wasn't the cheapest, but Josh (the owner) had the most thorough estimate with details and explanations as to why some of the costs were a little higher. He estimated it would take close to 28 days, but we only had a 24 day window. He promised to meet our deadline and he ended up completing the entire project with a full day to spare. He did this by staying most nights until 9-10:00 and working through lunches and dinners. He was very patient as we selected colors and provided feedback when asked. The finished product exceeded our expectations and we couldn't be happier. Not only would I hire Skye Painting again, I plan to hire them for a project this fall. I would feel confident in recommending Skye Painting for any large or small project.

Our deck of Wolmanized wood was put up in 1989 and seems sound. The Final Coat Co. applied a…read morepaint-like light gray stain in 2019 that I recall them saying would last 20 or more years. It began flaking immediately. They touched it up 3 times, but it just kept on flaking. I gave up, but now we wanted to sell our house, and it looked awful (see photos). The Final Coat told me it was out of warranty and was not their problem. I offered to split the cost with them in some manner, as I realize it's been 5 years now. They told me they would only redo it for full price. I had Deck Rescue redo it, it cost $1800, and our deck now looks fine. If The Final Coat had told me it would cost $3600 to redo and they would split it with me, I would have paid them the $1800. I also think that after retouching 3 times in 2019 they should have checked back with me to see if it was alright. If you are considering using Final Coat, I would think twice about it.
