I have been getting my nails done with Iren for a while now and I could not be happier. I get a Russian manicure with hard gel and it lasts for up to four weeks! I look forward to my Saturday morning appointments with her. Appointment takes about 1.5-2 hours. I enjoy a nice cup of coffee while she does my nails. Iren is extremely talented and detailed. My nails look amazing even in the third week. read more

I normally go to San Diego to get my Russian manicure with hard gel done because there's a place there at does an amazing job and my nails will last for 6 weeks. I get a new set after 6 weeks because the grow out is too much at the point but the quality is still impeccable at the 6 week mark. This place replicates ANY design I have ever given them. Then All Six opened close to home. I was extremely excited to have a Russian manicure place that did hard gel just a 10 minute drive from home. It's a very cute location, the tea and coffee is a nice touch. I have gone to All Six twice. The first time I got a regular gel mani. Two days later one of the nails had the gel polish peel off. I wasn't able to go get it fixed because I was in Palm Springs. When I finally had time to go I decided to go with my usual hard fell. It took 3 hours to get hard gel done. Two hours for the hard gel and one hour for design on 4 nails. I asked for a flower design, the girl looked at the picture and called more girls over. They all looked and started talking about it but I couldn't understand since they were speaking another language. One of the girls took a picture of it and she started to practice the design on a set of fake nails while another girl got started on my hard gel. She showed me the finished product that she planed to do on my nails and it looked like a 5 yr old painted it. I told her it was cute and let's do it. Internally I was panicking because it was not cute but how do you tell someone that worked on something that their work was not cute. So the two hours it took the nail tech to do my hard gel I talked myself into finally telling her that I changed my mind and wanted to go with something more simple as she finished the hard gel. So we never got started on the flowers. In the pics you can see what I asked for and what I got. I kept my nails all neutral, the color of the hard gel instead of adding the blue polish because of how long it was already taking, we were two hours in already before she got started on design. At one point she painted my nail blue straight down the middle. I told her to just do a diagonal line from one corner of my nail bed across the nail to the top of my nail. She could not. I asked at another point if I could have the brush and show her where the line should be, I did the line and asked her to just paint the bottom half and pointed to it, and asked her to just smooth out the line I did. She painted the top half. I asked again to do the bottom half not the top half. She tried and tried, she would paint and take off multiple times at her own discretion. At this point I could tell that she would not be able to just draw a diagonal line so I let it be. When she eventually asked me if I was okay with the blue I said "yes thank you" even tho I wasn't and she moved onto the foil. She put it all over the nail. I told her that I wanted it like in the sample picture, just along the line of polish. She took it off and again put it all over. I again asked for just a small line of foil.... Still did not deliver. I gave up. I was hungry, we had hit the 3 hour mark I wanted to go home. A few days later, the hard gel was already lifting from one of my fingers. I don't know if the tech who did my nails was new but if she was, maybe they should let customers know that the tech is new so they might take longer, struggle with nail art, or quality might not be as good. I walked out of there disappointed in my nails and paid $160 for them, most I've ever paid for nails. I'm 36, I've been getting my nails done religiously since I was 15, this is the first time that I walk out of a salon disappointed with the finished product. Back to San Diego I go for my nails. read more

I have now been to All Six several times now. The first time I went, they had recently opened and I was blown away by the experience. In my return trips over the last year the service has been consistently on point. You can tell everyone from the owner to the staff are obsessed with creating a very positive experience. I have had gel, Russian manicures, as well as their regular manicure and pedicure, and recently I tried their hydrafacial. The quality of their work is on point each and every time. They have become my go-to place. The salon is also extremely sanitary, which I appreciate so much. If you're looking for a good salon with consistent quality, look no further, give them a try. Highly recommended. read more

All Six - Pedicure station - Nail Salons Near Me - Glendale, California

I recently visited this salon for a Russian gel manicure. We found the salon super last minute as my friends and I all needed a manicure. We saw the salon had good reviews and decided to book. While the salon itself is beautiful and very clean, my overall experience was disappointing due to the inexperience of the nail tech who worked on me. From the start, there were issues. When removing my old polish, she over-filed and created a visible hole in one of my nails. She tried to claim the damage was already there, but it was clearly the result of her over-filing. When they attempted to fix it, the process didn't feel professional compared to what I've experienced at my usual salon, the tech used her finger to apply the polygel instead of a brush, which felt unsanitary. Throughout the appointment, she seemed distracted, constantly turning her head to watch what the other techs were doing instead of focusing on my nails. I had to remind her to properly clean the dust off before applying polish, and the shaping was uneven. She kept applying excessive alcohol so many times in her attempt to clean my nails. She also ended up cutting me on my pinky. Some of nails ended up with debris underneath the polish and the hard gel is not properly applied making my nails look lumpy from different fingers on both hands. After more than 1.5 hours, I spoke with the lady at reception as she clearly knew I was dissatisfied so she acknowledged my nails needed to be fixed and so she asked for a second tech to step in to try to fix the mistakes. Even after that second attempt, my nails were still misshapen and had debris underneath and were so thin from tips. The receptionist was very kind and offered a discount, and even offered to work on them again but by that point, we had hit the 2 hour mark and I was over it. I just needed to leave. Considering the price and time spent, I left disappointed and now need to have my nails fixed elsewhere. My friends who came with me also experienced similar issues with inexperienced nail techs and ended up with misshapen nails and bad polish application. The picture of my friends nails shows more than just the typical top view the view the salon posts. I'd strongly recommend that the salon provide additional training to their staff for this type of manicure. read more

Really disappointed to have to write this review. The salon is beautiful and clean but the work isn't. After 1.5-2 weeks, my hard gel nails started to chip and lift. This was my first time visiting this salon as the salon I've been loyal to for 10 years wasn't working out with my schedule anymore. I usually get Russian gel manicure with rubber alignment, but the employee assured me hard gel was better. Mind you they did not charge me for a hard gel as I politely refused but the tech did hard gel anyway, and told me after she was done. However, she told me that I would not have to pay for it and I could pay for the regular service I was originally scheduled for. I decided to "trust the process" as my nails looked nice and clean when she was done. About a week and a half after getting my nails done they started to chip and lift and break. I am a person who gets their nails done religiously every 4 to 5 weeks for the past 15 years. This never happens to me and my nails usually always stay for 4 to 5 weeks without any chips, breaks or lifts. After paying almost $200 for both my hands and feet you can say I'm extremely disappointed and will not be returning. I will be going back to my old and trusted salon. read more

I had such a wonderful experience with Iren! ‍ I tried the smart pedicure and it honestly felt like a real spa therapy so relaxing and refreshing. The place is very nice. However my nails are falling apart after 1 week. I think the tech was new and the way she did my nails was questionable. I got a Russian manicure with gel x nails. When she was putting the glue on it was a mess and then she didn't even file my nails good I had to tell another customer to translate for me and ask her if she can file them so they look natural and not boxy square. I got chrome on my nails and she forgot to add the chrome on the thumb nail, I was home when I realized it. Anyways definitely not going back. read more

Quite frankly, this is the best salon/spa you're going to find in Glendale. I felt like I walked into a completely different world. The design is calming but also intriguing. Everyone there smiled at me and made me feel comfortable. Offering water, Halloween chocolate. They checked in routinely The service itself was phenomenal. I've never seen such craftsmanship. I got a mani and pedi, both look like they're someone else's hands and feet. The products are high quality and they have a designated wheelchair accessible station so I can visit with my friend and be next to them! This is actually not easy to find. I won't be going anywhere else unless they force me to. I hope they don't get all booked up but also you should go and they should get booked up! read more

What really sets this place apart is the little touches that elevate the experience...like the fact that they offer your choice of coffee or tea, served in actual cups (not paper ones) with a side of chocolate. Upon walking in, the decor put me immediately at peace and in a state of relaxation. It's done is soft wheat, beige and cream. The music was lovely. I was sat in a soft comfortable chair; more a piece of swanky furniture instead of your typical spa chair. Asked if I wanted something to drink, I chose hot tea (lemon ginger) and was presented with not only my tea, but also an individually wrapped chocolate on a wooden tray . . . sigh. I was sat down swiftly and met the two ladies who began their magic. Iren (gel pedicure) and Diana (Russian gel manicure). Wow, wow, wow! I recently moved to Glendale and wanted to find a salon closer to our new home. After some research and reading the favorable reviews on Yelp, I made my first appointment. The vibe and energy there made me feel so, so good. I keep staring at my hands and feet. They have other services too (skin treatments, lash extensions, massage, etc). I'm still on a high and cannot wait to go back. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. read more

All Six - Russian gel manicure. - Nail Salons Near Me - Glendale, California

Honestly, the place is beautifully designed, and everything feels very luxurious. The girls are polite, and the customer service is generally good. That being said, the actual services are not great. I went a couple of months ago before leaving for vacation, and the experience was disappointing. The rubber base was very thick, even though I specifically told the technician that I preferred it thinner. The chrome finish was applied messily, with lots of visible specks at the end. They asked me to come back so they could fix it, but I didn't have time and had to deal with a bad manicure throughout my summer vacation. I decided to give it another try, but I'm disappointed again. The technician didn't completely remove my previous polish, leaving uneven white spots on my nails. Despite my complaints, she didn't fix it and went ahead applying the polish anyway. I could still see the white dots underneath, and she tried to cover them up by applying several thick layers of gel polish. In the end, they don't look terrible, but definitely not worth the price. I don't think I'll ever go back, and I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. It's really disappointing to pay so much for a Russian manicure that isn't done properly. read more
