We Used Jeff for our hotel signage, and it was great. We hired him to restore our neon sign. We agreed on a price and paid an 8k deposit. A month later he made a BS, claim saying his account was hacked and all the money was gone. Now, 3 years later, we are still waiting for our money back. He always gives a pity story and claims he's a good man. I have recommended he pay a small amount each month, but he always says he will figure it out in 3 weeks. DO NOT HIRE for big projects. FYI, his contractor license is not active, and he is doing work without it. Taking him to small claims to recover funds. read more

Zeff was extremely pleasant to work with. He answered ALL of my questions. You can tell he's been in the business for a very long time. I found his work to be of high quality, fast, and extremely reasonable compared to the other sign shops around. He went out of his way to deliver the banners I had made. Very cool gesture. These people are completely unprofessional. I understand they are a small family business and I hate to leave a negative review but from the son's lax attitude to their own employes talking about the owners work ethics and the wife's rude attitude I would much rather have gone with another company. Higher prices but I'm sure way more professional! I asked for a call back and was told "why can't I email you". It's like sure you can do that but I would like a call as well as I don't check my emails all the time. A simple we will email you and follow up with a phone call would have been sufficient. My family and I came here for two of our signs. This business is the definition of unprofessionalism. One of our signs was never put up even after almost a year of giving a deposit of $500 we kept getting the run around from the dad mom and son! We ended up only being able to get $200 back from our deposit at this point it was not about money just the disrespect of lying to a paying customer and not being honest of the entire process we are just over having to deal and see their faces and having them blame each other every visit. We decided to back out from one sign #1 which was submitted way before the second sign #2(that did get finish)! For the sign they did finish (sign#2) it was a simple sign that took about 3 months to get after basically showing up everyday to their store and getting attitude from the mom and run around from the dad blaming the son and vice versa. We didn't get updates of a date on when we were going to get the sign it goal was to get it before our store opened and it didn't happen even after the Dad said and made it seem like it would only take 2 weeks bc of how simple and easy the sign was to make. It was perfect since the store opening wouldn't be for another month. When 2 weeks passed it was becoming impossible to reach someone bc the lady at the store never knows shit and her role in this business is to play dumber, once I finally even got a blueprint of what I had asked for it was completely wrong from what we had designed the name of my business was wrong the colors or font entirely wrong and when I first stopped by with my idea the owner and I designed it together and he made notes of specific color and font so disappointed that this place was so unorganized and lost my original idea he kept on his cheap notebook! Again we kept showing up at the store to get an update or to even know if the sign was being made and 3 months after my store opening I finally have my sign even though the owner said it would only take 2 weeks. Now almost a year after we gave a deposit of $500 for the other sign #1 they keep saying the sign has not been approved how is this that the sign has not been approved if they were able to put up and finally finish the sign that took them 3 months to get and our first sign was submitted before almost a year ago. We asked for our deposit back and of course they aren't going to these people only want money and don't care about the actual service they give customers. We ended up only getting $200 of the $500 back which at this point I don't care as long as I don't have to deal with them and hope it will prevent other people from getting their money taken! I have done business with Allstar in the past, and they were magnificent. My 1st time was for a school project MANY YEARS AGO. Very unprofessional. We went here to get our logo & sign put on one of our company trucks. After they gave us the original estimate they took a month and a half to get back to us to schedule the work. We had left messages & they were never returned. We could have taken our business elsewhere but they gave the best quote and had done our original sign years ago. Once we finally were able to schedule this, they told us it would only take 1 day for it to be completed. 3 days later our truck is still not ready. I called to ask when we can expect this to be done. This is a working truck and the longer we did not have it the more business we would lose. Every time I called I would get a different reason, either the person who put on the signs was not there or they were really busy or the person who ansewered the phone didn't know anything about the situation and would have to call us back (no one ever did). We expressed our frustration and the son guaranteed me that our truck would be finished the next day by 1pm. The next day it was about 3pm and we had not heard anything. I call again and the woman answers, I explain the situation and what her son told me. She goes on to say it will be a couple more days before it's ready...are you kidding me? I explained to her it was unprofessional that they gave us a date of completion multiple times and not have anything done when those dates came due. She began to get very rude and kept saying "I don't know anything I just got back from vacation." I asked if there was someone else I could speak to and she went on a rant talking about how she's the owner, everyone answers to her and I can't talk to anyone else. No offense but how can you claim to be the owner and not be up to date on the work you have scheduled? The conversation got heated and she hung up on me. I called back and she began to speak in either Arabic or another Indian language (I'm not a language specialist) and kept hanging up on me. Extremely rude ! The day we picked up our truck (almost 2 weeks later) my boss, who is actually the owner went to go check on things after all this messiness. He shows up and our truck is still blank!! We couldn't believe it. He talked to the same rude lady that "helped" me on the phone and she gave him the same "I don't know" run about. When we first came here years ago, my boss did business with the other owner who is the rude lady's husband. So naturally when the lady claimed she knew nothing, he asked to speak to the husband. The lady became furious and said she was the only owner and to take our truck because she wasn't going to do the work. My boss says ok fine but we would like a refund. Of course she refused (theif), she started going off how we were never going to see any of our money back and she didn't care if we took her to court. She claimed to have gone to court many times & didn't care if we sued her (I don't know why a respectable business owner would brag about being taken to court multiple times). Long story short, my boss finally was able to speak with the husband. They finished our truck the same day and we sent our plumber to pick it up. No surprise the sign was not aligned properly and our business license number was so small and crammed on the bottom you can barely see it. This company is horrible, unprofessional and the lady "owner" is extremely hot headed and disrespectful. They deserve 0 stars and should not be in business. read more
