Overall I thought the team was respectful when there. Gave me some tips for a safer firebox set up and did their inspection. I had them give me a quote on a panel replacement which I felt was a bit overpriced. Tried to reach them a few times regarding it and they did not respond. Thats ok, things get busy. However.. Just last week there were some heavy rains and there was some water pooling up at the bottom of the fireplace. I had a handy man come over and inspect the chimney cap and there was some substantial cracks that he repaired. This was never brought up during the inspection. I believe they did inspect, I saw the ladder up there, but Im guessing they missed it? It either wasnt checked or missed. Disappointed in that. This coupled with the panel quote which I felt was high and lack of returning my calls I can not recommend them. I was told without an inspection they could not do the sweep and cleaning. They did tell me the price but for that money I was sure they would do a thorough job. Actually I would give them a 1.5 star if that was available. They were very quick to come and sweep the chimney and put chimney caps up. They were reasonable, so I thought, but... We had them out end of October 2016. About 1 1/4 years ago. During the last storm the caps of the chimneys came down. All of our neighbors also have metal caps on and they are still there. I called All Seasons and actually spoke to someone that said they would get back to me. That was the last I heard from them. I have called and called, but no one bothered to call me back. The $500 + only for the caps was money "well spent". It seems that "Work well done" is not something this company believes in. read more

Would not recommend. This company is overpriced, charges more than they quote, and uses scare tactics to get you to pay for work that you don't even need to have done. Upon getting second and third opinions for a quote we got from All Seasons Chimney to repair our chimney, we were told that we don't need to do half the work that they quoted and the prices were substantially lower from other companies. It's very clear that the team at All Seasons Chimney is looking to scam customers and get as much money as they can out of them. SHYSTERS DO NOT USE - The owner Kevin Fox came to give me an estimate, wanted to charge me for a cleaning and charge for the estimate. He said he gets $165 just for pulling in my driveway. When I told him I only wanted an estimate and was not looking to have any work done that day, he said he was calling Central Hudson to report me since my chimney was leaking and they would come close down the service if we did not get it repaired. He went so far as to disconnect a wire from my furnace thinking we would not be able to see what he had done. Biggest shyster going - had to tell him to get off my property! DO NOT USE! read more

All Season Chimney, Inc. was hired to inspect an external chimney for a house I am in the midst of purchasing. The company arrived after dark an hour after their latest promised time, with limited equipment and rushed through an inspection using a flashlight (not a flood light) and camera phone to document the condition of the chimney. When the three men crew finished with their "chimney level 1 inspection" Kevin Fox told me (in front of the current owner, his wife and my wife) that the chimney would need to be braced. They did not mark anything on their inspection sheet specifying where damage or repair needs where on the chimney. When asked what the price range was on such work, the lead person Kevin Fox said to me that he would send his boss the pictures and I would receive an email estimate on the following Monday. He was not the boss and would have someone get back to me with the estimate. I paid $90 cash and received a receipt stating so. After two business days, I had not been contacted by All Season. I called and asked when I would have an estimate, the woman who picked up the phone (Karen) said that she had no idea about it. She said that she would call the boss and I will receive either a phone call from her or the email that was promised. I didn't receive either. I called back the following day to find out what was going on, again Karen said she had no idea and dint know what was going on. Later that same day, Karen left a message on my voice mail stating that she had two price quotes - one for bracing the chimney the other for total replacement. She said she would be sending me an email later that day. I received the email the next morning which was four days later than promised and there was one estimate and it was for total replacement for $9,725.84. I called immediately and was now told they do not offer bracing services. When I asked why I was told so in person post inspection the secretary could not explain. After much discussion it came to light that the lead person Kevin F. was in fact the owner of the company and should have been able to give an estimated quote. I asked for Kevin to call me immediately. Kevin called and denied ever telling me their company could offer such services. He was rude and insulting over the phone, actually ignoring my questions and laughing inappropriately. He kept asking if I would be sending in a deposit for the replacement of the chimney. He took my money, treated me like a dog and I didn't receive the service I was promised read more

I had an issue with my chimney cap in summer 2013. I called and Kevin said he would be able to fix my cap for the cost of $150. I paid him to get the job done. He said that what he did "should take care of the problem" although by his professional opinion my homes chimney cap was not up to code! I asked what that would cost and he said he didn't know for sure without taking measurements but it would be in the range of $1,500. I asked for an appropriate estimate and he said he would get back to me after he got all the measurements. After a week I contacted him again because I did not get the estimate as promised and then he said he had thought he sent it to me and that he would get that to me. It is now April 2014 and no I never got that estimate and since I thought the job was "taken care of" I didn't harp on it. In the last month there have a couple of windy storms and now I have a leak in my chimney and although "it was taken" care of it really wasn't. I should not be experiencing issues in less than a year of getting my chimney "fixed"! read more

Not a trustworthy company. Had my dryer vent cleaned, but was told my vent was detached (and originally held together by duck tape, which it was not. It was aluminum tape). The pictures I see that they gave me shows my vent not detached. When he put in his tool to clean it out it got stuck. I was with him outside when this happened and when he tugged and tugged it finally released and a long white wire was coiled around it. Now going forward a few months I try and turn on my heat, but it is not working. WHY? because Kevin pulled out the wire connecting my thermostat to my boiler. When I called and told them of the problem Andrew the office person told me he would call back and let me know when someone would be able to come out and fix the problem. Of course I got no return call on Friday and had to call and leave a message for someone to get back to me. It is now Wednesday and it's going to be close to freezing tonight with no heat. Kevin finally called me back and basically said it was my problem because I had my vent improperly vented by duck tape, which is wasn't and even said I needed to contact someone who could do the work. He also said it was my responsibility to pay for it to get fixed. Don't have any idea what it is going to cost, but I need to get my heat working again!!! Kevin does more talking than he does work. He must have smoked at least 5 cigarettes (which I hated smelling) while telling me about his personal life. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! read more

I got ripped off, dryer vent cleaned, yet never checked to see the lack of airflow coming out of the dryer, neglecting to advise me to have the dryer it's self cleaned because there was still a significant lack of airflow. After having the vent cleaned the dryer was still not drying. My husband took the back off of the dryer, and the amount of backed up lint was CRAZY BAD!. Most frustrating, the price we paid to be told "everything is fine", and everything was clearly not fine, because of the amount of lint backed up in the dryer from the previous owner the dryer was not even drying clothes. Absolutely terrible. I called because I just purchased a home and needed a cap for the chimney. The fireplace had never been used, but they told me that they would first need to come and do an inspection and a sweep. Cost me $170. They then told me I needed the cap (duh, that's why I called in the first place) and they recommended a boiler/furnace sweep. That cost me almost $700. While doing the sweep, the man tells me I have a huge problem that will cost over $3,000 to fix. I didn't feel right about it so I said I would let him know. I hired a different company for a 2nd opinion. They came today and essentially told me there was a much simpler way to fix the problem, which the company did for only $175. In addition, they went to check my fireplace only to tell me that All Seasons NEVER EVEN SWEPT IT! It was loaded with cobwebs and there was a piece of metal in there that the the guy said shouldn't have been. So they charged me $170 for literally nothing and then tried to scam me for more. I would not reccommend this company.I live in a well maintained home, I called them because my furnace chimney has been leaking water through the second floor ceiling off and on. They insisted on cleaning my chimney and I had been given a quote of $150 for that, then when Kevin was in the middle of cleaning he told me there would be an addition charge because "there was a lot of build up". The whole cleaning took 30 minutes and they charged me $285. Then he told me I needed a liner which would cost $3,450.. When I said that the liner did not address the leaking he a said the liner should fix the leaking but if it did not then we would deal with that afterwards. Since then I have had someone else come in who suggested that we redo the top of the chimney and the flashing. I spoke with my oil company who services my furnace and my chimney, they said I had not needed the cleaning since they clean it every year under my service contract I felt that All Seasons chimney did not address my concerns, they took advantage of me and charged me for cleaning I did not need and tried to sell me a liner instead. If I had installed the liner a head of repairing my chimney that would have been a disaster. read more
