The main thing is the rock wall. The job they did started rusting in under a month. Then the attempt to water seal the concrete left an eye sore and also dripped into the pool and on the tiles. I had to fix all of that myself because the more they tried to fix things the worse it got. The pipes for the waterfall leak inside and behind the wall causing white streaks everywhere. And in terms of time to complete, it was not great. Took nearly a month and a half because they would sometimes not come for a week at a time often without communication for days on end. The overall construction of the rock wall is not good or what was advertised in the quote. It looks very amateur and the structural issues will ensure that I will have issues now and down the line. I had to intervene several times and it still missed the mark. On the good side their prices are competitive and basic plastering and tiling seems to be alright so far, but I wouldn't use or reach out to them again. Nobody should expect their pool to look like this weeks after paying for a remodel.

Priority Pool Service - Great job on installing our new pump!!

Their pricing is fair and honest, and we have never been disappointed with the quality of their service. Several of our neighbors have started using them as well after seeing the results, and everyone has been very happy. If you're looking for a reliable pool service, save yourself the time and frustration and have them come out for a quote. I think you'll find their pricing to be fair, affordable, and completely transparent. One thing I especially appreciate is that they don't leave your pool pump running for eight hours a day to make their job easier and increase your electricity bill. They do the job the right way and genuinely look out for their customers. I highly recommend Priority Pool Service to anyone looking for honest, dependable, high quality pool service.

We've used Priority Pools since our brand-new pool was completed three years ago, and the…read moreexperience has been extremely disappointing. In that time: * The heater has failed twice (and is currently not working again) * The chlorinator has been replaced * The pool lights have been replaced twice * The silver quartz finish already looks stained and bleached Maybe some of this is poor Hayward Industries equipment, but it's hard to know because the service tech changes constantly -- about every 6 weeks -- so there's zero accountability or continuity. This is a saltwater pool, yet instead of properly diagnosing or maintaining the chlorinator system, they routinely dump gallons of liquid chlorine into the pool every week. Actual "service" often feels limited to: * Emptying the leaf basket * Lightly brushing the pool * Adding chemicals And nearly everything beyond that becomes an extra charge: * Chemicals? Extra. * Filter cleaning? Extra. * Repairs? Extra. * Someone coming out because the system they maintain stopped working? Extra. Worse, many of the techs seemed unfamiliar with how the equipment even operates, making service calls frustrating and unproductive. What really bothered me was adding up the actual cost over three years. Once you include all the side charges, repair calls, chemical add-ons, and maintenance fees, the true cost is easily several times higher than the advertised "weekly service" price. The marketing and online reputation look polished, but our real-world experience has been expensive, inconsistent, and lacking accountability.

Payless Pool Service

Payless and get more! Chant it loud and proud so that the folks in the back are reminded of a funny…read moremarketing phrase of yesteryear, where the consumer truly felt like the service received is commensurate with the payment rendered. Nowadays, pay more and get less has become a far more common trope than people realize. Consider it a sign of the times; a blight in the era of post-inflationary prices, where the sticker shock still holds you hostage in your own home, twists your arm and makes you scream uncle until you forfeit over your credit card because your options are as limited as buffet choices in this town, but I digress. This isn't a review about spoiled imitation crab cakes and all you can eat Doritos at The Feast (or was it The Beast?), but instead, it's about three guys doing the lords work and saving Vegas pools one acid wash at a time - spoiler alert - (whispers) they do SO MUCH more than just scrub plaster and blast tiles. More on that in a bit. Payless Pool Service became a family favorite, so-much-so, that we've used their service a handful of times in the past year and we don't plan on using anyone else to come near our pools. Jaded pool guys with a bad tan and every other word uttered being "bruh" is not part of the Payless credo as these classy chaps exemplify the professional attitude you come to expect from a family run business. With Steve running point and Danny and Diego on the wings grinding away calcium buildup on tiles and plaster, you can rest assured that you have experts that are committed to getting the job done right the first time. Let's start with the initial call. Steve promptly answered and said he could stop by the next day to assess the condition of my pool. Upon arrival, Steve took some measurements and asked if we'd like to also sandblast the tiles, as the calcium buildup was enough to start our own cheese farm. He showed us some pictures of the work his crew had done in the past and it didn't take much to convince us that along with the acid wash, the tiles DEFINITELY needed some much-needed TLC (see photos and compare for yourself). As far as pricing goes, I personally thought the quote was more than reasonable for both mine and my parents pool, especially when you consider how much work these guys did in the span of a few days. Not only did Diego and Danny sandblast the tiles back to 2004, they even made the plaster whiter than Erik Estrada's smile. Additionally, I had asked Steve if they could install a new vacuum side port, and without hesitation he said, "not a problem, we'll take care of it." (gasp!) Come again? You'll take care of it and not nickel and dime me!?! How refreshing that there are people out there willing to go above and beyond for a job, which just tickled my heart. It's the small things/gestures which makes a business shine in the eyes of the customer, because it's such a trivial thing for them that it didn't require a separate quote. Same with Diego when he finalized my parents' job. They just purchased a new Zodiac MX6 vacuum and needed help with the initial operation. Without hemming and hawing or hand-wringing or face contorting, he said "SURE!" took the vacuum and its hoses out of the box and showed us step-by-step how to get the most out of it over time. These guys are such a delight to work with that I think the three of them should hold a TED talk for a lot of other contractors and service technicians in the valley on how to exhibit a professional demeanor, while still remaining affable and relatable to your customers. Kudos! Total time was no more than three days from drain to fill on both pools, which is about the amount of time it took you to read this Yelp! review, right? ;) Additionally, Diego returned and balanced the chemicals, took care of cleaning the pool filters and vacuuming up the remaining sand left behind. Payless also covers a whole litany of other services for your pool. We even asked about re-plastering and resurfacing the Kool/Cool Deck at some point in the future, and along with our initial encounter with Payless, they even repair old Jandy Valves. If you're looking for someone that values your time, gives you top notch service and isn't trying to bleed you dry with outrageous pricing that is so prevalent these days, please consider giving Steve and his guys at Payless a call for a quote.

They're a family-owned business, and it truly shows in the way they treat their customers. Steve is a true pool genius--knowledgeable, honest, and always willing to answer questions and explain the process. Payless Pool Service resurfaced our pool, and the entire project was completed in just 7-10 days. They kept us informed every step of the way, showed up when they said they would, and delivered exactly what they promised. There were no hidden costs, no surprises, and no pressure--just outstanding workmanship at a fair price. What really impressed us was how they consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything was done right. Their attention to detail, communication, and commitment to customer satisfaction exceeded our expectations. It's rare to find a company that genuinely cares about the quality of their work and the people they serve. Our pool looks absolutely amazing, and we couldn't be happier with the results. We highly recommend Payless Pool Service to anyone looking for a professional, honest, and trustworthy company. Thank you, Steve and the entire team, for making the entire experience stress-free and for delivering such incredible results!

He texts in advance of arrival, and answers all of my questions throughly 2) RESPONSIBLE- My #1 ask is to be an early early pool clean. I work from home and the hubbub of someone in the backyard freaks my dogs out, so it's good to get all of the excitement over before my workday begins. Martin and his staff (shout-out to the WONDERFUL Jordan Gonzalez!!) accommodate this SO WELL, and I'm just tickled to see them out there first thing Monday... THANK YOU THANK YOU you guys, you make my week start out perfectly1 3) HONEST- I didn't realize that I was accidentally overpaying (if you pay via Zelle as opposed to credit card you get a little discount) and Martin caught my mistake and made it right. I SO APPRECIATE that! 4) TRUE PROs- Martin caught a little leak from our filter tank when he first began service (my previous pool guy, who ghosted his entire client base for weeks when he hurredly moved out of town and didn't tell anyone), must've been ignoring it!). Martin patiently problem-solved with my husband, and took his time to consider the most economically conservative way of addressing the issue... resulting in a perfect fix that was mostly free! (just needed some lubricant!) Now... it seems every.single.time I write a review for a Las Vegas pool service, they wind up ghosting me, moving out of town, divorcing their wives and giving up the business... I second all the 5 star Yelp reviews. All the 5-star reviews are legit, and I am joining the list of their satisfied and happy customers. I do my own pool maintenance but I leave the acid washing to professionals/experts, and Martin/Aqua Pro Care will be my go-to acid washers from here on out. He showed up as promised for pool draining and acid washing, and did not waste time. He's very efficient and works fast! They are neither the cheapest nor the most expensive, but they offer very reasonable and competitive prices. They also give military discount, by the way! Highly and absolutely recommend Martin and his company!
