There have been a few times when I've reached out to her after hours for nonemergent concerns, and every single time she's responded with kindness, patience, and genuine care. She listens without hesitation, asks thoughtful questions, and helps guide me through what to do next. It's clear she truly cares--not just about the animals, but about the people who love them. One moment that really stands out was when I found a sudden lump on Hazel's neck. Hazel is a yorkiepoo and a former puppy mill mama who means the world to me. I panicked, thinking the worst, especially since our regular vet's office was closed. I reached out to Dr. Erin, and she immediately helped me think through what might be going on. She asked if Hazel had received any shots recently, and when I mentioned a new allergy injection the day before, she explained how that could be the cause. Her calm explanation helped me breathe again. She told me what to watch for and reassured me that I could bring Hazel in if things got worse--but thankfully, the lump was gone by morning. What really touched me was that Dr. Erin followed up to check in on Hazel afterward. That kind of care and compassion is rare. I'm so thankful for Dr. Haroldson and the team at All Pets. There is an old Proverb from Portugal: "When 3 people say you are an ass, put on a bridle." The facts peak for themselves. This is a careless operation. They don't give their work proper attention, and then they could care less about the after effects. Office Mgr. Kenna replied to my exercise of First Amendment rights (to post a review online) with a THREAT to serve an injunction. This is improper behavior from anyone, especially a veterinarian facility that caused the death of a dog and ongoing grief to owners. What kind of vet clinic does this sort of vindictive behavior? No wonder that 11 years later, for the first time following the death of the dog, we have posted a review. This is not harassment. All Pets is all wrong and overreactive. I feel so fortunate to have such a great vet like Dr. Erin Haroldson. My pup was having some subtle symptoms so I took him in. He is on anti seizure meds. Dr. Harrison was suspicious that his one drug level might be off even though it was therapeutic two months ago. So we drew labs. And sure enough, she was right! I'm so thankful it was a simple fix. Dr Sweitzer refused to treat my cat after he developed a severe infection from surgery performed at their Clinic, she was too busy. I was forced to go to the emergency clinic resulting in over $1,000 vet bill. On another occasion, Dr Haroldson told me my dog's symptoms presented as thyroid cancer. After 2 and 1/2 days when she got the result back, it wasn't cancer. No consideration for the stress and depression that I went through for those two and a half days because of her ignorance. After going to the clinic for 30 years and getting absolutely exceptional vet care from Dr Erickson, who unfortunately retired and sold the clinic to these incompetent vets, I will never go back there. read more

We recently began taking out pup to all pets veterinary clinic on N Gammon Road. I would NOT recommend The first visit our veterinarian here with my new pup tried to convince me that they'll need to extract my pups teeth in 6 months. I said let's see if they fall out naturally before we schedule extractions. He has lost all of his front baby teeth, canines I believe even molars now and it's only been two months since extractions were being recommended. She just kept pushing. I felt like they were trying to push products and services that were not needed. I stood at the desk to pay for a shot, asked to schedule a booster and they Took my payment but said I did not need to schedule the follup booster. I wanted what was necessary not everything they had. It was difficult to get the information about what is necessary or dangerous in Wisconsin for whatever seasons we were in. They also called me about a week ago saying my pup was six weeks overdue for the lymes booster and we'd have to restart the series, an appointment I wanted to schedule when we left anyhow‍ Also expect your pup to have loose stools afterwards, lots of treats are used. i used to go to a clinic across from Memorial High School years ago & they did not feed my pup tons of treats & peanut butter. read more

I'd give 10 stars if I could. Dr. Erin treated my dog for over 14 years. Always explained my options and never judged. She is very thorough, careful and is patient with this crazy dog mom. We now have a new pup who unfortunately has had some bad luck with some mild health issues. We continue to treat with Dr. Erin and have also seen Dr. Natalie. Dr. Natalie has a knack of explaining the situation and you actually understand! Her personality is one-of-a-kind. These two are invaluable to us. Very transparent and it's their mission to help your dog and YOU feel better. Actually, I've never come across a business (including their front-desk staff) that is patient, sympathetic and knowledgeable. Your pet will get all the TLC they deserve at All For Pets. read more

I love this vet. Dr. Gallagher spent a ton of time with me on the phone and talked through her thought process for each of the concerns for my pup that day. I felt truly heard and listened to. I have an adopted dog that is terrified of car rides, I have told all for pets several times about this yet nothing in the file, no notes about anxiety. anyway, my dog has been struggling with a persistent ear infection since we adopted him in October (it's currently Jan 15th) after an unsuccessful visit about 2 months ago, I scheduled another. I was 5 minutes late on a dark, icy night, teams have been -5 at least the last 2 days, roads are covered in ice. when I walked in the door the receptionist informed me "oh I was going to call you and tell you we had to cancel, you were too late" I replied "I'm 5 minutes late with a dog that has bad car anxiety and I'm only 5 minutes late" I was told "we can make Wednesday work" I said "no I need today to work, the dog HATES car rides, they scare him to death, I need to make tonight work" they replied "sorry there is nothing we can do" if you think this place cares about you Or your animals, your delusional, I will never return. read more

I am beyond happy I found this place! I am overprotective of my pup - the usual crazy dog mom. It took me some time to find a vet clinic that I felt comfortable taking my pup to. After reading the reviews, I knew she would be in good hands here. I called in about my pup's happy tail (or sad tail) problem and was given an appointment the next day. Dr. Schweitzer was friendly, personable, and professional. My pup loved her, which I was very happy about because she tends to have a lot of anxiety at the vet and isn't herself at times. Dr. Schweitzer was able to examine her tail and provide us with some antibiotics along with a spiffy cone. Finding a good vet is just as hard as it is to find a good mechanic who isn't going to overcharge you or charge you for miscellaneous work. All Pets is the place to go. I have never felt so comfortable at a vets office as I did here. This is by far the best vet clinic. You can genuinely see that they care about the families and pets they serve. read more

Look. I admit it. Im a crazy dog mom. And we are the WORST to deal with at the vet. We always think we know what's best and somehow can read our dogs minds. So after our pupper started licking his paw non stop for 4 days, turning it raw, I was about in a panic. We just moved back to Madison and I had no idea what vet to see. Every vet I called from past knowledge had a 3 day wait. Thankfully being the review snob I am.. I found this vet on google and im so glad the reviews were right. They were able to get me in next day. The vet was amazing (her name escapes me). She knew just what to say to calm me down, control my crazy 1 eye pug, and didn't shove me into and crazy treatments. All Pets is the best vet I've ever been to. I have a greyhound with some anxiety problems and Dr. Schweitzer has been so great with him. She doesn't over-prescribe but also doesn't take chances with things. All Pets genuinely cares about my dog's heath. Seriously, I love this place! I wish I could give them ten stars! I've got three corgis and after a co-worker referred me here in 2009, I'll never go anywhere else. Every vet my dogs have seen is wonderful...between the three pups I've met with three of the doctors. They're all sincere, empathetic, thorough, understanding, engaging, respectful, and love to share their knowledge. Dr. Haroldson is a sweetheart and can probably put any nervous pet-parent at ease. Dr. Erickson is calm and laid-back, and I can talk to him about even the most awkward pet problems. Dr. Schweitzer is lively--a total hoot. Anyone who likes The Walking Dead AND Downton Abbey is alright in my book! All Pets has been able to see me with very short notice, has never rushed me in and out the door, and always made me feel like my dogs were their top priority, even on busier days. They communicate clearly about diagnostic and treatment options. Their prices are very reasonable, and they try less expensive solutions first, instead of immediately recommending the most costly. Not that I'm cheap, it's just that having three dogs adds up. When they weren't 100% positive about something, they aren't afraid to ask each other for second opinions, which I appreciated when my dog Harry swallowed a corncob and had to have emergency surgery. That's another thing I love about this place, is that they remember all my dogs names when I walk in the door. Not only the vets, but the front desk staff. Maybe it's my fiction-writer's imagination, but they really make me feel like a VIP. Kenna is always so excited to greet my pups and I love hearing about hers. Dana has a killer sense of humor and if you're lucky, she'll grace you with one of her zingers. Having three rambunctious corgis that get into trouble (catching rabbits and getting worms, swallowing corncobs and needing surgery, attacking car windows and breaking teeth, spraining toes from too much running) means I get to visit more often, and I honestly do not mind at all. read more

She even surprised me with his footprint when I picked him up after cremation - it was such a thoughtful thing to do. I've been really happy with All Pets. They have nice, convenient hours and the staff has always been great. Being open until 6 p.m. on weekdays is really helpful; the extra hour makes a big difference. My two cats regularly see Dr. Haroldson and both have seen Dr. Erickson for injuries/infections. I've had no trouble making appointments for regular check ups and vaccinations. When either cat has had unexpected problems (eye infection, infected cut, etc.) they've been able to get me in within a day, although I was not picky about what vet I saw. Both Drs. Haroldson and Erickson have patiently and carefully talked me through what I needed to do for home-care and answered all of my questions. I've never felt rushed or talked down to. read more

Maybe Dr. Erin Haroldson was having a bad day 3 years ago when our beloved dog Pinkus was taken to her for dental work. But because of her carelessness, Pinkus has a bad rest of his life. He has "massive bands of scars by his larynx, as associated with trauma," according to the next vet (UW Vet Hospital) who examined him during another anesthesia. A year before Haroldson hurt him, with rough intubation, Pinkus was examined under anesthesia by still a different vet and found to have a normal throat. So Pinkus entered All Pets in perfect health and came out in horrible pain, coughing and gasping for air. His loud, labored breathing today attests to how much trouble he has getting enough air in his lungs. When we informed Haroldson of the problem a few days after the mishap, she was uninterested in examining him. She has never accepted any responsibility or refunded us, as we asked. She is a stain on her profession. read more

Love All Pets! We drive all the way from McFarland to Middleton to go here because the staff, from the front desk to all the Doctors, truly care about the animals. I've seen Vet Techs carrying sick animals around in slings to give them extra attention and care. I've had them stay open waiting for me to arrive, they work you in for appointments as necessary. Dr. Erin (Haroldson) was a calm and competent resource - and when I couldn't see her, the other vets I saw were wonderful as well. Shortly after we relocated to Madison, our dog began having seizures. It's a scary thing to experience and figuring out how to manager her epilepsy has been a challenge, but I cannot imagine going through it without the care we have received at All Pets. Getting in for an appointment has never been difficult, and the response time to questions has been extremely quick, which is much appreciated when we're anxious about our pup. The staff has been great at helping put some of our fears at ease. We have only seen Dr. Haroldson, who is unbelievably patient, helpful, and kind in answering our numerous questions, whether it be over the phone, by email, or in person. We have always taken our dog here and have been more than happy with her care. However, yesterday they went above and beyond. We have two cats that do not go outside, and I am one of those people who don't vaccinate since they do not. Woke up to the 14 year old with labored breathing. She was not at all herself and I could tell at once something was seriously wrong. I called in the afternoon and explained they saw our dog, but never this cat but could they please see her? No lectures, no runaround, just compassionate people that assured me I should bring her in and they would squeeze her in. She was in congestive heart failure and the vet told me she was a very sick kitty and it would be $$$$$$$ to diagnose and treat and probably days of hospitalization. I said we just could not do it and broke down crying. She hugged me and said they would be with her, but thought it might be too traumatic for me to be there since I came alone to the clinic. They gave me time to say good bye and then came to take her. They were so gentle and respectful to both of us. I had to sign some papers on the way out and everyone expressed their sympathies. I asked about paying and they said "don't worry we will bill you". I thought that was very considerate with the shape I was in. Really can't say enough good about this clinic and their staff. They made one of the hardest days a little easier with their treatment of both of us. read more

Thanks so much to Dr. Schweitzer for helping our family out in a tough situation. We are from northern Wisconsin and had stopped by the USDA to finalize the paperwork for my daughter, her husband, and their two King Charles dogs to return to Colombia, South America where they live. We had an 11:30 appointment at USDA and soon discovered that our northern Wisconsin hometown vet, who had seen them for their pre-travel appointment, had filled out the wrong paperwork. With less than two hours before the USDA closed on Friday afternoon, and a Saturday morning flight at O'Hare awaiting, we needed to find another vet. who would quickly examine them and do the correct paperwork. My daughter and I googled Middleton vets. and started calling but were repeatedly told no vet was available. However, when we reached All Pets, Dr. Schweitzer (who, we were told, was just getting out of surgery) quickly got on the line, asked a few questions and told us to come over. She was thorough, knowledgable about what we needed, and shared a few quick laughs with us (which was helpful since at this point we were feeling the stress). We made it back to the USDA with time to spare. Thanks to Dr. Schweitzer for saving us two changed international flights, several additional days in Chicago, and missed work. We don't live in Madison, but would definitely recommend her and the Clinic for coming to our rescue and helping out our travelers! read more
