Brittany, who groomed her, did a fantastic job - cleaned her up without robbing her of her cuteness. When I picked her up, she was happy, no longer had hair covering her eyes, and had been tidied up all over. She also smelled delicious. Everyone at this place was friendly, welcoming, and clearly loves pets. Super glad we found them - we'll 100% be bringing Moxxie back. Oh - and if it matters to you, I believe this is a black-owned business (an extra bonus in my book.)

They used to get groomed at my house by her. In this way, I learn a lot about how to care for them by combing and brushing them. Despite my skill set, I cannot groom them completely by myself.  Because of this, I started looking for additional assistance and have taken months to find it. I found two of the finest groomers in the industry, located at My Pet 2626 E Allegheny Ave. 19134, Philadelphia, PA. Ewelina can be reached at (267) 257-1268, and Monika can be reached at (267) 257-0540. I appreciated their professionalism and suggestions on how to care for the boys based on my level of skill. Getting Zeus and Helios groomed can be a challenge.  Before booking the groom, I talked to the groomers.  As part of one of my walks, I stopped by one day to check out the place with Zeus and Helios. We had a great experience at our first meeting. It was obvious that they cared for animals and would provide a great service, and you can tell that they are honest. The groomers' responses to my questions and their attitude were exceptional   Taking care of my two fur babies is not something I trust everyone with.  The dog dad in me is overprotective. The shop is extremely clean and stocked with various pet supplies.  If the Pet parents have to wait a few more minutes to pick up their fur babies, there are some comfortable chairs in the waiting area. They have a secure area in the back where your dogs can relieve themselves during the grooming. (Note: When you visit your barber or stylist, you may also have to relieve yourself. It is nice to know that your pet family member will be safe.) The shop is located in Port Richmond. With easy access to Fish Town, Kensington. Residents in these areas can easily walk to the location from their homes. Uber Pets is a great alternative if you live in North Philadelphia, Fairmount, Spring Garden, etc. To take them to the vet, I use this service. The cost is very reasonable for Uber Pets. I was positively surprised by the low grooming price due to the condition (length, matted, choppy, etc.) of my two young adult Standard Poodles' coats. The last time they were cut was in June 2023. Obviously, this was way too long for a professional grooming session. I highly recommend these groomers to other pet parents because my experience was excellent. There was a lot of attention given to my pet family members, and they look absolutely adorable. It's not my usual habit to write reviews, but I urge people to patronize this business. I have booked my next two appointments. It was important to me that I was on their books. Whenever you see 2 Poodles and The Bald Guy walking in Port Richmond, Fish Town, Kensington and Spring Garden area, please stop so we can chat about the great care my babies are receiving at My Pet. According to their website, Cat parents, these ladies groom your furry babies as well at My Pet. I resorted to ordering online like many do, which always had some issue attached to it (died in transit, wrong size, wrong bug). About 2 weeks ago a website link popped up for Full house pets. I swung by there over the weekend, and wow. I was blown away by the stock they have. Not only do they have live feeders for most pets ( that you cant find anywhere else close by) , and accessories, but they also sell pets in store. Ive been to so many pet stores where they keep them in inadequate enclosures, but not Full House Pets! The enclosures are proper, the pets look healthy and happy. It made me consider adding to my beardie family. There was a girl working behind the counter in the reptile room, she was extremely knowledgeable. I was able to witness her educating some other customers who came in, she is professional and truly cares for the animals they've got. I have a dog as well who is on a very specific food brand due to allergy, and they've got that too! Signed up for the rewards program with them at check out :) I will be a regular customer here.

My dog was choked by the lead they use on their tables multiple times, and was terrified, girl said we couldn't hold our dog up while she did them, and did a horrible job on the nails themselves. The staff is SO friendly and absolutely adore my dog from the second we walk in. The groomer remembers her, and my dog always comes home smelling amazing, shedding way less (she gets a de-shed treatment since she's a husky) and her paw pads are trimmed which I could never do as well on my own. The price is also reasonable for the quality groom. Would recommend!

They said she contracted kennel cough and text me on Saturday but at the rate she declined she had to have been sick much longer than they care to admit . I even have a recorded conversation where my friend called and they knew a bad dog influenza was going around philadelphia and still didn't give antibiotics or take to vet after knowing it was not just kennel cough ....I just picked up my dog and is not expected to live past today and she didn't , she contracted kennel cough which turned to pneumonia and passed away. She's was in septic shock. They should have taken her to the vet when she contracted the kennel cough and was seen not eating and lethargic. She got it April 1st, I picked her up April 3 and on April 4 is in the ICU and died today . Pure negligence . Do not board or groom here . Looking back when I brought her in she wasn't happy and had to be picked up, and she usually doesn't mind being boarded (other places she walks right in) so something isn't right at this place. And I'm at a loss for words. She is my life! The fact that kennel cough went around means a dog might have not had their shots (maybe not since it's like the flu and different strains might be resistant to the shot ) but even still they were flat out negligent and should have taken her to the vet. They lied on the text when telling me about it, saying she was eating and drinking fine, but when I picked her up you can clearly tell she had not been eating or drinking (the hospital said she was extremely dehydrated and when we got home she threw up straight bile, no food in her stomach) if she wasn't eating that's a sign that the kennel cough has turned into something worse along with barely being able to walk, they should have taken her to the vet as per the signed agreement, this all could have been avoided and now I lost my best friend. I'm balling my eyes out when I visited her today when they said the only reason she still alive was the meds and machines I know kennel cough can be at any boarding but this place simply ignored her serious symptoms
