Avoid using this company at all costs. I'm posting this review because Matt, also known as Richard Matthew Shane, is completely unprofessional. When he first came to my business to close a deal, he was incredibly cocky and arrogant. He flaunted his Rolex and boasted about his wealth, showing me pictures of his expensive house. He bragged about his connections and claimed he could quickly sell my business. During our conversation, he showed me pictures of high-profile clients at boat parties with prostitutes and talked about his lavish lifestyle, including wanted to buy a ring for his girlfriend but she would need to accept his lifestyle. Despite these red flags, I was willing to work with him if he could sell my business quickly. I had an active business I wanted to sell discreetly, with no name or address disclosed until a potential buyer was found. Matt agreed to keep it quiet and share it only with his network. However, the next morning, I received multiple calls about my business. He had listed it on MLS with all the details, business name, address, phone number and pictures. Outraged, I demanded he take down the listing immediately. Instead, he sent a withdrawal form stating he would only remove the listing if I agreed to keep the commission contract in place for ten months. This was outrageous, as he lied and then tried to secure his commission within 12 hours. His assistant, Diane Keegan, handled the follow-up communications and supported his actions, showing she was complicit in his unethical behavior. I have since retained a lawyer and sent a demand letter to remove the listing. Despite this, Matt and his team insist on keeping the commission contract in place if the business sells. I'm now pursuing legal action, regardless of the cost, because he thinks he can bully others due to his wealth. He chose the wrong fight, and I am prepared to see this through out of principle. It was my mistake not to research his firm thoroughly. He has a history of litigation involving unprofessional and corrupt practices. He may close deals, but he lacks business integrity. If this review prevents even one person from using his services, it will be worth it. I hope many others choose to avoid him after reading this. Stay far away from this company. This is one star to many that he even gets. It should be a zero star rating. read more

Here's one more well deserved one star review , note along with this I am filing a ethics complaint with MLS . These people are the very definition of shady , pushy and opportunist ,taking advantage of the ignorance of their clientele. I received a sales call from them asking if they could send over a realtor to speak about re-listing my property. I explained I wanted to wait before attempting to sell a second time, as I just had it listed for six months prior. After some more badgering from the lady on the phone, I reluctantly agreed , this was my 1st mistake . Matt comes in and gives his pitch why I should let him re-list my property , I explain I wanted to wait and I wanted to think about his proposal for a day before changing my plans and signing. For Matt, this was unacceptable and he hounded me in front of employees, to get me to sign after listening to him go on and on, My 2nd mistake was agreeing to sign, (basically to get rid of him) . He finally left my store and it was really bothering me that I allowed this stranger to convince me to do something I had no intention of doing and did not want to do at all .I called and sent an email requesting to cancel the contract I had just signed.THIS WAS ONE HOUR AFTER I SIGNED THE PAPER . He refused. Since then I have made several attempts to resolve this matter, I have explained to Judith that do to the pushy/aggressive nature I will not be doing business with them on any level ever... and that holding me to a twelve moth contract is not helping either one of us. I asked to take this as a learning experience for both sides and to provide me with a release letter from said 'contract'. This was refused ( Judith claimed it was to protect their business , and for the work they put in, but what work ? it was literally one hour after I had signed that I changed my mind ) and dragged out for the past couple of months due to a lack of response on their side.I can attest to most everything in the other negative reviews is true as I also experienced the same treatment . So it looks like I will be waiting till May (which I can do) to re-list the property. Although it has been a bitter pill to swallow , I am grateful for the lessons learned.... read more

She was professional, compassionate, well prepared and super responsive. We reached out on Sunday, and signed the lease on Wednesday. This was such an incredible experience and I really cannot explain how amazing working with Judy was. I was browsing rental units for my boss who was moving to pre-qualify the properties. I found a nice looking apartment and contacted the agent. The help I received getting information about the unit, the building, the location was exemplary! The agent was a wealth of information but only one problem.... there was already an application for the apartment. Well, the agent went to bat getting all the paperwork submitted so the owner could have a choice. She described my boss and set up a FaceTime call with the owner. She followed up every step of the way. Impressive!!! She really wanted to make the transaction smooth (moving comes with so much anxiety) and was patient, calm, thorough and charming. Without her assistance, we would never have gotten the apartment. I am so grateful and believe her judgment and qualifications are terrific. HIGHLY recommended!!! read more

Matt shane is VERY unprofessional you do Not go into someone's business making offers to an employee about a business being listed for sale/rent clearly its listed confidentially and I did not want the employees to know the building was for sale but this man walked into and operating business demanding to speak with an owner boasting about how good of an agent he was and how much he has sold and bought unfortunately even had I spoken with him I wouldn't have used him to list this property and will NEVER refer anyone to him or the company he represents he couldnt possibly be that desperate for listings that he has this cocky attitude hopefully he learns how to conduct himself in a professional manner going forward read more

April, 2016 Dear Judith, I'm going to start this letter by saying I couldn't start this letter. Sometimes we are so overcome with emotion, that it is hard to convey this in writing. Even now, my eyes are tearing, anticipating what I am going to write to you. In March, my uncle introduced me to Clarice Mulcahy. Looking back at the experience I had, I feel like he sent me an angel. When I met Clarice, I was homeless. There was a devastating fire in my apartment building that rendered my unit uninhabitable. I was awakened, in the middle of the night, during a blizzard, to rescue workers from 11 different fire departments. When the fire marshal declared it safe for the residents to return, I found my home inundated with water and soot. I was heartbroken. Clarice met me at a low point. I was emotionally dejected, physically displaced, and I felt a sense of utter hopelessness. During the darkest point: Clarice was absolute light. She demonstrated care, not just for the prospect of a rental; but, she seemed to care about my well-being, my mental health, and my struggles to overcome the fear I had from the fire. I was a "Goldilocks" renter to the tenth power. Clarice made so many appointments; but, none of them felt right. Clarice was so attentive and genuine: she did not try to push on me anything that didn't feel "right." Clarice left her school job early, ran late to babysit her grandchildren... all so that she could accommodate the schedule of various listing agents who had the potential for a show. Clarice treated me not as a prospective renter but as family. She called me, texted me, sent me emails: during a time when I felt alone, Clarice's presence was unvarying. I do not recommend using All Island Estates Realty Corp.Because, the owners/broker and license sales person, Judith Lucca Shane,Richard M Shane and Richard M.C. Shane (Matt),have displayed unethical behavior. Richard's behavior toward me was very unprofessional, disgusting and childlike. He will hang up on you if he gets suspicious or upset. Richard and his colleagues hung up on me at least 30 times on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 because I requested a release form. He called me a kook and used analogies to undermine my Character. Judith Lucca Shane, does not return phone calls even if she promised she would get back to me @ 10.00am on 3/1/16. I left a message on her voicemail, still no response. Richard M.C. Shane (Matt) is also very Unprofessional. When he takes you to see houses, he makes remarks about people who sell their home. He said people act as if they have gold nails in their home. On one Occasion, Matt said that people who are too attached to their home will never sell for the right price because they are to emotional invested. That's coming from a person who was at that time living with parents in Bellmore. We all work very hard for our Home. Does this sound like the people or businesses you want to sell your home? According to Matt, as of 1/10/16, they have become an independent agent because Coldwell Banker took $40,000 from Matt. Please be very careful when signing forms with them. Seek legal advice before signing anything. They don't thoroughly explain what you are signing. They are very unfair and unprofessional. You will not receive premium service with a performance guarantee as stated on brochure. read more

I bought a house that was listed by the owner of this company and For a "seasoned" agent, I was extremely unimpressed w/ her knowledge, or lack thereof, around all aspects of the business, process, & market. This was not just my opinion, but ALL parties involved. Many things that were said & done on a personal & impersonal level, some of which I'd like to share, really annoyed the sellers & myself. The best way to describe this experience would be that feeling you get when someone acts as if they know what they are talking about, but you just want them to stop talking because you know they're full of crap & not fooling anyone. It's as if a 5yr old w/ chocolate all over their face was trying to tell their parents they didn't eat the candy. She should be thanking the Internet & owners for selling houses for her because she is certainly not. On many levels, she was unprofessional & the deal almost fell through due to her lies & incompetence. Critical information between the seller & I were NEVER communicated back correctly or at all. Both the sellers & I were blindsided & confused to the issues now arising. I asked for their phone number, but she wouldn't give it knowing the lies would emerge. She only gave the number when her selfishness took over & there was a risk of her not making her commission. If I didn't demand the owner's number to speak to them myself, we would never have resolved the issues & I would have lost the house. Rather stating she messed up or forgot (or at least pretend she did) to communicate back the terms, she instead continued to lie to the sellers while lying to me. She even went to the extent of talking badly about the Seller to me to cover for herself. She said she the seller is losing his mind, is crazy, & is forgetful because he never said any of these "terms", & the terms he's asking for are ridiculous. This was said face to face in their home to me while the homeowners were away. They explicitly told her not to let me in w/ the inspector, but she did anyway. The seller & I spoke about this after. Having said that, now months after the sale, I still have a very good relationship w/ the sellers & he is not losing his mind & he made his terms very clear when accepting my offer. It also shows her true colors that she has known this couple for years & were supposed to be "friends", but had no problem throwing them under the bus to save herself & make her $$$. When asking my Agent how much I would be putting down, he said 20-25%. Her response was, "THAT'S IT?!?!" My agent replied, "What do you mean that's it?!?! That is a lot of money for a young couple & the home they are buying. Other are putting 10% down on 1/3 the home price!" After that, she went right into a made-up lie & said that I told the sellers the first time I saw the house that I inherited millions because I lost my Dad in 9-11 & she thought I'd be & should be putting a lot more $ down. Truth is she googled me & lied. 1) I never talk about it nor why would I bring this up to strangers 2) Why would I want someone that I am buying a home from to know I have millions (which I don't) when the goal is to buy as cheap as possible. So again, she is clearly not that bright & a conniving liar. Rather feeling what a normal human being would feel for someone losing a parent in 9-11, she instead saw an opportunity to make more $$$ for herself. Yes, she went that low. And btw, if I did inherit so called "millions", I wouldn't be buying the home I did, so again...not that bright. This little bit I wrote above doesn't even do this entire experience justice for everything that took place. The joke is on her though since I was speaking w/ the sellers through the process and after, & we were all on the same page about her & still today (which she has no idea about, again...not bright). All she's done has talked herself in circles & been caught in lie after lie. When the seller's lawyer had enough after the mess she created with the terms & therefore the contract, he told her she was the worst agent ever & not smart. She then decided to blame & insult my agent, who was my Uncle. The sellers had multiple issues w/ her from start to finish they told me & were extremely regretful for having her as the listing agent. They should have followed their gut, and were not surprised when they heard what she said about them. That really shows the character of this woman. So again, extremely displeased w/ my experience. Not bright at all nor a good person. She should thank her lucky stars for the internet, owners, & houses selling themselves to boost up her resume to portray she is a good agent to get future listings. This is clearly a case of a mediocre agent at best, smoke & mirrors, & person of few morals & intelligence only looking out for herself. read more

Just want to say I have had another wonderful experience with this real estate company. 15 years ago Richard helped me find my house in Bethpage. He listened to everything I wanted in a home and he found it for me. All Island saw me through every process, explaining that they work for the seller, but at the same time helped me find a mortgage broker so I could qualify. I found out after my start that most sellers won't even begin to talk negotiations until they know that they are dealing with a qualified buyer. I didn't know that. They helped me through the baby steps I was taking. I have since moved to a different location and keep my Bethpage home as an investment rental. Who knows, when I retire and can't afford the taxes I'm paying now, maybe I'll move back there. But in the meantime as long as I keep it rented I'm ok.
