We were discouraged to find that the home we rent to a great tenant in Pahrump had rats in the heater ductwork. Thanks to a referral from a wonderful realtor/friend in Pahrump, we found Pahrump-located "All In Pest Solutions". He was prompt and fully educated me and my tenant about rats and mice. It takes time and a plan to make this kind of problem go away, and patience is a necessity. I am so grateful that I have a resource for excellent referrals; I have never known a better pest control expert when it comes to customer service and education. With rats, understanding what to expect and managing expectations is simply important! It will take roughly a month to get an answer as to whether the population of rats is controlled enough to repair the ductwork. There are so many variables, including whether construction is happening nearby (it is), whether the neighbors have a large population of rats (Don't know), whether you live near a golf course or other consistent source of water (we do), and trash sources (think trash bins), and how many "tourist rats" are just passing by and want to consider your home for a settlement. Repairing the ductwork prematurely can lead to a repeat repair. That's where patience and education becomes so valuable! I will report back on the effectiveness of Ryan's plan. So far, we and our tenant are very happy! I suspect his plan is solid, as he didn't sugarcoat the problem, and his plan is very clear and logical, and he makes it affordable. Give him a call if you find a rat/mice problem in your home or business! Of course, he handles all types of pests. The Redrock Country Club is notorious for having Scorpions and Ants and we've used Pest spraying services recommended by others but we'd always end up needing to call them before the scheduled time to come out because the problem wouldn't go away.
