Jack's Appliances was sent to my property by my home warranty company. Jack's has always been courteous and professional. They've been able to repair most of the appliances, but when that wasn't possible, they got my home warranty to actually replace two large appliances when they were broken beyond repair. That's virtually unheard as my home warranty is famous for denying every claim. Reyna is always diligent in trying to reach my non-responsive tenants to set up appointments, often making multiple calls for multiple days, which is much appreciated by me. Our refrigerator went out on April 4. We have a home warranty to cover our appliances. We placed a claim and were assigned to Sears on April 28. April 28 came and went and Sears rescheduled with our home warranty company for May 26. That was completely unacceptable. Our home warranty has done business with Jack's Appliance in the past and we asked if we could have them for this problem with our refrigerator. Jack's Appliance scheduled to come out on May 13 but rescheduled for May 6 because they had a cancellation. Miguel and his trainee came out and had our refrigerator working again that very day. I kept reminding him that this was NOT my first dishwasher and all the other actually dried the dishes. 4 trips and months later, my dishwasher is still not drying the dishes and to make matters worse, they refuse to tell the warranty company that they can't fix the problem, which would trigger a replacement unit. The handyman was there for no more than 20 min and I was charged $150 even though I was told it was going to be $75. He looked at my tenants stove and dishwasher and said they were both broken and weren't worth fixing but since he looked at two things I was charged double. Refrigerator MIGAEL had an attitude from the time he called to say he was 10 min out until the 3rd time it took him to try and fix my fridge. And I mean try. MAGAEL tried telling us that it was normal for a fridge to defrost every 8 hours even tho we explained that the fridge temperature was as high as 65° and the freezer temp was as high as 45° And ice was melting and So much food was spoiled and thrown out. MIGAEL kept repeating that statement until finally we insisted that something was wrong. He finally took some things apart and said he had to order parts. MIGAEL Came back in a week and had the same bad attitude and once again made a point of telling us that it's normal for the fridge to defrost every 8 hours. ‍ He called us a liar for our complaint that he obviously got reprimanded for and then told us that if we have any more issues TO CALL SOMEONE ELSE!!" Well that's exactly what I'm going to do as I woke up just after two weeks of him being here to water everywhere leaking out of the fridge, condensation and icicles in the freezer and the fridge back up to 50° and climbing. It's obvious he has no idea what he is doing or has an issue with warranty work. Now it very well might be that it can't be fixed which I would except but I'm not very convinced he was even trying or again knew what he was doing. My refrigerator stopped working on a Monday, too late to get a repairman, but I left a voice message at Jack's, stuffed my foodstuffs into a couple of coolers and waited for morning. Tuesday morning I got a call back, arraigned a service call and within a couple of hours service tech Isaiah showed up. I feared I could be looking at a blown compressor, but Isaiah quickly discovered the problem to be a faulty relay. He found the problem and had it repaired in maybe a half hour. He was friendly and professional, and I am highly satisfied with the service and the price charged. read more

I have American home shield and I submitted a service claim for an electric dryer issue. AHS then in turn assigned the service work order to Sears home services on 12-13-2023. Sears then notified me that they scheduled me for Dec.28 th sometime between 8 am and 5 pm. the sears guy shows up a little after 5 pm. I inform the tech that the dryer simply doesn't heat up. he gives the dryer a visual inspection and states he knows what the problem is and the part it needs. he does not have the part and will have to order it and reschedule me for jan. 4 th 2024, 8 am to 5 pm again. a week later the part shows up. jan. 4 th appt no show no call or text. later that night ( jan.4 th ) I get a text that I was rescheduled for jan. 16 th 8 am to 5pm. no explanation or apology for the missed appointment. I wasn't waiting any longer for more excuses and delays. I contacted a local service, jack's appliance service and within four days I had a professional service technician at my door. he took apart my dryer for a detailed evaluation of the the dryer's heating issue. the tech had a good idea what the issue was but had to confirm it . after dismantling the dryer the tech discovered a detached frayed wire that is common with this model. in less than a hour the issue was resolved. obviously the sears tech did not properly diagnose the problem correctly. that would have taken a little more effort. and ordering a $120 dollar part that was not needed is not very efficient. I can't say enough about Jack's Appliance repair service. The technician was so professional, prompt and polite. My dryer was not working, and he covered the top of my washer which was sitting next to it to so as not to scratch it. I described the problem, and he set about to fix it - which required disassembling the top, the control panel and the front of the dryer. He made the repair in 20 minutes, had the dryer put back together and cleaned up the area, for the price that had been quoted on the phone. I couldn't be happier! read more

I had called and scheduled an appointment with this company about three weeks ago. The guy, Miguel came out and asked me if I owned the washing machine, I told him no as I am renting the unit. He went on to rudely say that he wasn't coming in without owners permission (no one mentioned this during scheduling). I asked him if he could wait a few minutes while I call the owner and again he rudely told me no he didn't have time which is odd because if I had told him I owned the appliance he would have been working which requires far more time than a 3 minute phone call. Anyway, today (3 weeks later) I get multiple phone calls from Miguel leaving voicemails telling me he was outside and if I didn't answer he wouldn't take the call or the next one. I am out of town and never heard anything back from them after he left my house 3weeks ago. I called their office to let them know I hadn't scheduled any appointment. She nearly argued the fact that I had an appointment that I scheduled which I did not. After short debate I told her the appointment wasn't my doing as my owner had already had the appliance fixed 3 weeks ago. He just shows up at my house, leaves a bunch of rude messages and then lady in the offic wants to go back and forth about something that obviously was their mistake. Eventually she did say she'd disregard the appointment in the end. These people were rude and unprofessional. They also did not give proper information when scheduling which may have avoided the conflict altogether as I would have had my owner contact them for permission. Called Jack's about my oven door hinge being off on one side. Isiah came over and within about 10 minutes had it fixed. Very nice repairman who knows his business. He gave me a warning about the danger of that strong hinge spring and how to use a screw or nail to keep my fingers safe if I decide to try fixing it myself next time it comes off. Very efficient and professional about fixing my oven but their bedside manner is not the best. Not friendly. Very untalkative. Was on their phone the entire time they were at my house both times and couldn't answer my questions that I wanted to ask because they were too busy talking on the phone. I thought that was rude because I'm a customer and you shouldn't be at my house on your phone for the entire 20 minutes you're here. Last year I would've given this place a five star review he was extremely helpful when he came to repair my oven. However a month ago I booked an appointment for the same oven ,I told them it was the same plus my dishwasher which I had already discussed with him when he was there fixing my oven before & he said it would be an easy fix. I took a day off work I called in that morning to confirm the appointment with the receptionist. My appointment time frame is 8 AM to noon at 11 AM the receptionist calls me and says the technician will not work with the brand of my appliances, if that was the case they should've known this a month ago and even a day ago so I didn't take the time off work and waste my entire morning. Now, mind you - my GE refrigerator is 26 years old and the only issue was a slight drip inside the fridge, appearing to originate from the freezer. Had 18 month old washer and a home warranty. Washer was incredibly loud during the spin cycle and was getting worse. Home warranty company sent out two different technicians, both of who got the diagnosis wrong. I finally told warranty company I'd find my own technician, and I called Jack's Appliance Repair. They came out, took the back off the washer and told me the problem was a bearing that was built in to one large piece that was attached to the drum. I ordered the part and once it came in they told me they'd like to be at my home early since it was 108 degrees outside and the washer needed to be in the garage for repair because they had to completely disassemble it and didn't want to damage any flooring. Long story longer, they repaired it and made sure it was working properly and there were no leaks. Office personnel handling part order and scheduling was also great to deal with. I've used them once before on a new refrigerator that had an issue with equal success. This Company is first class and I can't be more satisfied. read more

The worst appliance repair service, I had a problem with my Maytag Bravo Washer, It was making a loud noise and then it stop spinning. The tech came out to my house twice , and tried to convince me that the machine needed a new control board , which is the most expensive part on the machine, I went online and inputed Maytag Bravo Washer making loud noise and not spinning and every time it referred to a bad bearing on top of the gear case assembly, which is about a three hundred dollar difference in price. The problem is jacks is the only repair shop in Pahrump Nevada , my advice is pay the extra cost and get a repair shop from Las Vegas to come out and fix your appliance. read more
