Ergeon - White solid privacy vinyl

We recently had a fence installed with Ergeon April 2026. I…read morehad a full online consultation, which was great. The guy really listen to me ensured me they would handle all my concerns, and of course I would end up happy with the work. They came to do the initial on-site walk through, which is done prior to installation. Our guy didn't speak any English (not to be that person). He couldn't answer any of or question, he was asking us questions we couldn't understand, measuring things and what have you. Me and my husband were really concerned that the language barrier was going to cause issue with the installation. AND WE WERE RIGHT! I immediately called stating my concerns with the language barrier and how we couldn't understand anything and we want to make sure things will be done right. They yet again ensure us that everything would be handled correctly. THEY WERE WRONG! Installation day is here. They guys worked their asses off from 9am-5pm. We went out offered waters and if they needed anything but of course no one speaks English and couldn't understand anything we were saying. It time for the final walk through.... Gates are swinging outwards which we had ask for them to swing inwards so it didn't interfere with our neighbor property, locks don't work and placed wrong (anyone from the outside can just open it right up. So my security issue was clearly not taken seriously). I have asked them if they can fix the locks and gates and still waiting for a reply to this day. OHHHH..make sure you double check the permits. They charged us $100 and said they would handle all permits. Are zoning officer came out to inspect since the called for an 811 and he said that no one ever reached out to get the proper permits. Which mind you, the consultant reach out and told me they didn't need a certain permit and when I questioned this they told me their permit team would handle it. Well they never did and I finally got my $100 back as we had to go to the council and immediately apply for a permit which also cost us $40.00. Check your area first, might save you some money! I tried to get ahead of these issue yo avoid all of this and they just kept saying they would handle everything and ensured me it would be done correctly. I'm just frustrated with this whole process and now I'm waiting to hear back about fixing these gates, which I have a feeling I will be doing myself. I will escalate the gate issue if I don't hear anything back but honestly I don't see them coming out to fix it. Overall, communication sucks!! If you're worried about something, chances are it will end up as a problem. Trying to get problems fixed is a struggle! After all the resource and companies I called, a part of me wishes I would have went with my first option. However choose this company cause of pricing and how quickly they were able to fit us in to get the job done.

Part of our fence fell down with a recent thunderstorm that we needed replaced. After receiving…read moreseveral quotes we decided to go with ergeon. From start to finish I was impressed with the way ergeon handled the job. We did a convienent video estimate over the phone and they explained the entire process. Price was on point and the quality of work was superb and the job site was cleaned up when finished. I couldn't be happier with the new fence and will be calling them again when needed. Highly recommend!

Allegheny Fence Construction - untitled

Allegheny was the original constructor of our backyard fence, so we contacted them recently when we…read moreneeded a couple of things. First, after many years (I believe it's been there for about 35 years!), the chain link post is pulling away from the gate on one side which is becoming a dangerous situation where my dogs could get out, so that needs to be repaired. Second, I wanted to discuss a potential add-on fencing solution above my koi pond to block my dogs from running up there, where it's also become a dangerous situation over a high retaining wall as they "race" with a neighbor dog on the other side of the permanent fence. I actually had two other fencing companies and a landscaper come to assess that pond situation, and neither of the other fence companies would just be honest with me: putting any type of fencing up there is to likely to damage the retaining wall beneath and nobody is going to do it and incur that liability. Dan from Allegheny spent an incredible amount of time in the yard trying to figure out a way and took this project to his lead designer before coming to the no-go conclusion, which I really appreciated. Both of the other fence companies left with promises to get back to me with a quote, and the call back just never came. So, on this #ServiceStarShoutout day, I want to shout out the above-and-beyond attempt made to address my issue, the honesty and responsiveness (not always standard in these types of industries, unfortunately), and say that I am really looking forward to having Dan and the team repair the existing portion of our fence! This has been an extremely high-quality fence that has stood the test of time, and I know this work will be done the same way. Allegheny's prices are not the cheapest out there, but they are fair and their product and experience instill confidence, which is critically important when it comes to something that's going to protect the lives of your furry and human little ones.

I have three fur babies and I was using a bungee cord to keep the gate closed. Apparently the post office finds it too difficult to operate such a complex device, and so I thought i should get it fixed. When I called they sent out a sales guy to check out the situation and give me an estimate. Dan was a great guy, personable and knowledgeable. They are so busy he estimated that it would be Mid-March that they'd be able to do the work. Much to my surprise, a service guy, named Bill called yesterday to come out today and fix the problem. Both he and his helper were great. it took them about three hours to do the work (in the freezing cold today) and the fence looks great!

North American Fencing

We used North American Fencing twice in the past 10 years. They did a 5ft chain link fence at our…read morefirst house, and I thought they did a pretty nice job. We did ask for about a 1-2 inch gap where the fence met the ground, this what I could weed eat underneath, some areas did have the gap, and some didn't, I could live with it. When we purchase our second house we decided to use them again since we were relatively satisfied the first time. What a terrible experience the second time around. Took them weeks to come out to give us an estimate, but I understand things happen, so it was no big deal. Finally get he estimate done, agree to have them do the fence, said they would start in a couple weeks, nearly a month later work finally started, once they started it went pretty quick. Again, I asked for a gap between the fence and the ground, NO GAP at all this time. Not a good way to start off. We got the chain link fence with a brown rubber coating, our other fence had the green rubber coating and it held up great. The brown coating we got this time was dry rotted and peeling off within a year. After the first winter I noticed that all of our corner posts had tears in them. Water was getting in the bottom of the post underground and would freeze inside the post causing it to split open. So I called the company and left a message, about 2 days later a rep called me back and we discussed the issue. He said that this was a result of "reverse osmosis", ummm say what now. I'm no scientist, this isn't reverse osmosis, this is a poss installation job. When they set the posts in concrete they should have made sure that the post wasn't protruding thru the bottom of the concrete baes, or if they really would have done it properly they would have encased the post with cement inside a plastic bucket like most people do now a days. So they basically told me there was nothing that they could OR would do, and I wasn't going to scream and holler because that doesn't get you anywhere. Instead about 5 neighbors in my neighborhood needed fences and I successfully talked them into going with another company, they were all extremely satisfied with the work that was done by the other company. Also, I work for an insurance company, so I talk with folks all day. Anytime fencing is brought up, I immediately tell of my tale with this company in hopes that others make he right decision in using someone else.
