Now Frank, you are just straight lying on your response. Andy was never shocked on the price, and cost was NEVER an issue for us and we NEVER expressed to you that cost was an issue. We were waiting to get other estimates and wanted to speak to our friend who is in this business and also said you did a bad job on this patio. We wanted to have the patio and steps done by April and you rushed by starting in February when it was raining and very windy and we were looking to find a professional company who could have this completed but April. The patio did have the swirl but the lines you cut were all sorts of sizes and the corners were not cut even. I have never seen a patio look like the way these lines were cut and we are still trying to get cement off our sliding glass door and lamp post that should have been protected when pouring the concrete. You said in a text message that I still have, that the concrete dried to fast and you were having trouble finishing it. You also said that it turned out better than you thought. But still did not turn out well to us. Yes, it looks ok from far away, but not close up. My husband was not "praising" your work. He was done dealing with you and this since you were not willing to fix your sloppy work and kept saying that I was micro-scoping an imperfect material. It was not the concrete, it was your finishing that are the issues. I understand that you book other jobs while completing the ones in progress but you lied on why you have not shown up and said you had truck issues which makes a company completely unreliable, you never said that the railing was in back order and that you were waiting on this, you decided just not to show. My issues was the false information, not that another client paid double for what we paid. I contacted Pittsburgh Patios based on their glowing reviews, however, the service I received did not measure up. When i called i spoke with frank who, to my pleasant surprise, indicated that he would be able to come out to give me an estimate later that day - except that he never showed. Nor did he call. i called him approx an hour after his arrival window. he indicated that his truck broke down and he wasn't sure he would be able to make it that day. he said he would call me when he would be able to make it out. it has been 2 weeks and i never heard from him. i understand that unforeseen events occur. had i received a call instead of been expected to sit around waiting (and had i received a call to reschedule as he indicated) i would not be leaving this review. your work could possibly be great, but your communication and respect for your client's time is terrible. read more

We saw Frank working in our neighborhood and hired him to do our driveway and patio. The experience was amazing from start to finish. Frank has an eye for design and is able to make regular concrete look like a piece of artwork. We asked for the cheapest concrete possible, and he did a border with decorative lines cut into the concrete. His work is amazing. We were expecting a regular broom finish, but were surprised with a beautiful swirl finish. The way they trimmed out the grass for the forms made it look like the patio had always been there. It took 7 days from start to finish for him to dig up and redo my 70 ft. driveway and patio. On the last day everything was cleaned up meticulously. Frank is amazing at what he does. read more

It's refreshing to deal with a contractor that responds quickly, communicates well, and shows up when he says he will. Frank and his team did just that. We didn't know exactly what we wanted with the design but Frank gave us great ideas and executed those ideas.
