I am the executor of my parents's estate and their cleanout involved a house, 2 story garage, and a small barn that were jam packed with the remnants of 65 years of memories. I was handling the estate long distance and could only be in Pittsburgh every other month or so. And unfortunately, my parents had not allowed us to help them clean out along the way. We faced extremely challenging and overwhelming conditions. I hired Mike and his team to help me on one clean out trip and in one day, they emptied three rooms that I had been working on for two years. They work very fast and you have to be clear up front about what you want them to take and what you want to save. My priority was saving family pictures and a list of missing family heirlooms. Mike and his team opened every box and bag to make sure they didn't throw out pictures or the heirlooms I was looking for. All the while cleaning out the rooms at record speed. At the end of the day, they presented me with family pictures I had never seen and heirlooms I hadn't been able to find. They also asked questions along the way about things they thought I might want to keep. Before they left they swept each room clean. They left with their dump truck completely full of things I had struggled to dispose of. Over the course of the next year I worked with Mike and his team 10 times. Each time they made my life so much easier and this heavy task so much easier to bear. Because of Mike and his team I have met the court deadline to complete my parents' estate. I am so grateful that they got me to this point on time. They not only handled the work, they were extremely compassionate during the very sad sorting through of stuff that reminded me so much of my parents. I whole heartedly recommend Junk Magicians. They will work themselves to the limit to help you in a time of great stress. Not only will they clean out your project, they will do it with empathy and care. Finally, Mike and his team are really lovely people. Every single person is hardworking, thoughtful, and kind. Cleaning out an estate is hard, dirty, sweaty work. They blamed their supplier, JJ Kennedy, who they said sold them a bad batch of concrete. Every time it freezes the concrete crumbles, and gets worse! Plus, Kim (Kerry's wife) told me that this has happened on Multiple Jobs - not just mine! It shouldn't be my problem - it's Morningstar's problem. I tried to address this with them before posting any reviews. I repeatedly called and email them to try to get this resolved. They kept ignoring me and I had to keep contacting them again and again.
