Showed up on time, always left a clean jobsite, communicated any scope change, polite and easy going. This combination is very rare; it shows why Miller is so successful and has multiple jobs always lined up. I was worried about them rushing my job due weeks of rain delay, but I had nothing to worry about. Only improvement could be more communication, but they know the jobs and if you ask about what to expect, you'll get a solid response; owner is a man of fewer words. Hard working and focused on the customer, not making an extra buck. Good prices. Also, took care of numerous small items and was flexible with scope changes on the fly.

The short of this review is that Tom and his crew are the best contractors we have ever worked…read morewith. Consummate professionals to the highest degree, I don't think we could have asked for a better outcome to what started off auspiciously. We had originally hired another contractor to complete several jobs at our house including demolishing our old railroad tie retaining wall and rebuilding it with Versa-Lok, a concrete porch extension, general landscaping including grading, and building Versa-Lok raised beds around our house. Said contractor started the job, and left the house in shambles for 3 months, not responding to any of our phone calls and effectively taking our money and running, while demanding we give him more money to break contract. Given it was nearing October and we were concerned about water leakage into our basement with the partly-completed work that had been done, we stated looking for other contractors to complete the job. Tom came out 2 days after we called for an estimate, and he had the estimate back to us 3 days later. Price-wise, Tom was actually the lowest price to complete everything, and it was complete work - other contractors couldn't do everything we needed done. When we hired him, he gave us a start date and deadlines that he was spot on with and was communicative during the whole process. Several days into the job, while working on some of the grading, he noted foundational issues and worked with us to get them fixed by adding a french drain system and retarring our foundation. Tom and his crew were able to get all of the original work done (including removal of the detritus the first contractor left behind, and fix his mistakes) plus the foundational work in a little less than 3 weeks. Everything was awesome - I don't think there is enough I could say about how good of a job Tom and his crew did. The precision, quality, cost, speed, and responsiveness is unbeatable. If you need someone to do concrete work, landscaping, or plumbing, you need to call Tom. He'll give you an honest, fair assessment, and if you hire him, you will not be disappointed.

Our home had 2 feet of poured concrete over the entire back yard. Frank and his crew excavated it, built us a porch, and laid sod. He has come back to do some work on our retaining wall and a few other small projects. His prices are fair and reasonable. Our backyard project was the biggest one on our house. Frank's crew actually uncovered a few foundation problems that was leading to water in our basement. They solved the problem and the unforeseen cost was totally reasonable and less than what I would have paid other builders. Frank is honest, punctual, and a perfectionist with his work. I would hire in for any job if I could.

I am taking the time to write this review because Eric, and his son Devin are a rare find,…read morecontractors who respond back promptly to your calls and texts, that alone makes them worth consideration for your next job. Specifically for my wife and I they replaced our existing driveway walls with new versa-loc walls, which look great, but I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. They showed up when they said they would be there, Eric pointed out an issue with a downspout drainage pipe and took the time to fix it for us, Devin went to great lengths to make sure we were happy with the progress at each step, and the crew was friendly and hard working. We requested they make a few revisions to the plans, and they ran into a few issues they had not expected, all of which were addressed without complaint, and no additional cost. Not all contractors are bad, but I have worked with bad contractors in the past, and so having had this experience with the Eric Gerber Construction motivated me to happily share a success story.
