It's honestly like diced potatoes with some soup and clam mixed in. Still good and reasonably priced, though! Lobster dinner: $44 for two lobsters, which I think is pretty fair. Hm, I understand a seafood menu with lobster "at market price", but a beer menu with no prices, why? So I took out some paper and a pencil (!) and queried her about the price of three beers that interested me, noting down each before ordering. When the bill came the price was higher than what she had quoted me. Confronted with my handwritten notes to the contrary, the head-waitress said that my waitress had simply misspoke, but I was still expected to pay the 'correct' price because that is what was in their digital cash register's system. OMG, why not just put the dang beer prices ON THE DIGITAL BEER MENU to avoid confusion like this! The digital cash register seems to have no problem with "the selection of beers changing so often", why is it impossible to get this same price info on the digital beer menu? Why make life harder for both the wait-staff and the customers? Why create this risk of misunderstanding? They have plenty of their beers on tap, specialty drinks, and when we were there, the bar had a huge projector screen showing college football. And because apparently Maine has decided we need to combine all the best things in life... one table had a group of friends playing Cribbage. Good food, good atmosphere, football, Cribbage, outdoor seating, and fancy sauce. What more could you ask for?
