A surprisingly pleasant Greek cuisine dining experience. It's not within our area but it worth taking the time to try some place new that turned out to be positive. First off this restaurant is nice and clean inside with young and modern looking interior, including furniture and cutlery.
We made reservations at 6pm which was the start of their dinner menu and were able to sit inside. They also have outside dining which is straight opposite Woolworths across the courtyard.
Their food style is "made for sharing" so the ordering selection was Small, Medium, Large, Sides & Desserts. Small being entrees etc. Having never eaten at a proper Greek restaurant before we did end up doing a bit of Googling of the Greek named dishes. Although the waiter was kind enough to explain afew words.
The entree servings were small as they described, spoiler alert. Not the end of the world considering we ordered multiple choices there. We had pork and crab bun, pita bread, fetta cheese with chilli and the Greek verison of bagel looking things with tonnes of seeds. Refer to pictures.
For medium and large, we ordered seafood and meat. The grilled king prawns were actually fresh and grilled decently great flavor, kudos. The waygu beef was delish and medium rare by default. I also ordered pan fried barramundi which was amazingly soft and not overly fishy ocean tasting if you know what I mean. The skin was crispy my partner ate that stuff. As we were "sharing".
That this point we were too full for dessert which was saddening as they looked very interesting...next time perhaps. Pricing was decent for the quality was consistent and top notch. I didn't even feel sick this time.
Staff were polite and attentive. And the place was fairly busy but not too noisy we had space to move, breathe and hear each other and not have to be overwhelmed by neighbouring diners' conversations.
Apparently breakfast is even better time to go.
Afterwards we took advantage of the close convenience of Woolies which is also where we parked, bonus. read more
