Then, after…read moredone, charged 94% of us an extra second coat fee which was only supposed to happen "if a significant color change requires additional coverage." They charged this fee even when the extra charge fee showed a second coat for going from trim and door color of white to the exact same color of white. And for the house body color, many of us intentionally stayed with a similar a color to what we had. This was clearly a scam and their bid price was never intended to be an actual price. They went in knowing they'd increase their profits after the community paint jobs were done by charging nearly all of us an extra fee.

Not only are we paying $700/day for Michael's crew to get the jobs done, but we are also paying about $150 each couple per night for airbnb and hotel. So far, the work has gone from 3 days to 6 days!!! First of all, Michael never does the actual work. I will say that Michael's one guy was able to successfully complete the electrical work. However, he hires unlicensed, inexperienced workers to paint our 2 bedroom, 1400 sq ft unit. Their crew left a huge mess...pizza boxes, socks, debris, paint all over our floor tiles in which we had to clean and fix ourselves. His painter told us we bought the wrong paint and told my husband to purchase KILZ primer to use as paint for our walls in our house. There are line marks, drip stains everywhere! Michael promised us a $1500 coupon on future services, but he never answers our phone calls and takes a day to respond to our texts. Meanwhile, our roommates' moving company delivered all their furniture into our ruined home. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY unless it's electrical.

Thank you for responding. I want to clarify a few points for anyone reading this review…read more I reported the scratches shortly after the service, and Scott returned to the property to inspect the windows and attempted to clean one of the affected windows again. The scratches remained and, as I explained at the time, they are most visible when direct sunlight passes through the glass. I also provided video showing scraping tools being used on the windows during the service, including the glass above the front entrance. The company has acknowledged that these tools were used. Before the matter was submitted to the company's insurance carrier, I obtained a professional estimate of $12,915 to restore the affected glass. The matter was then submitted to the company's insurance carrier. I want to clarify the company's statement that the insurer conducted an investigation and then made a determination regarding the damage. That is not what occurred. The insurance carrier denied coverage based on exclusions contained in Scotty's liability policy. The denial was a coverage decision based on the terms of the policy, not a factual determination that Scotty's did not cause the scratches. The company has declined to pay for the repairs and continues to offer only a refund of the $300 cleaning charge. I respect the company's right to disagree with my position, but I also stand by my review and the documentation I have retained regarding the condition of the windows, the timing of the damage, and the work performed.

Sunshine State Water Restoration handled the entire remediation from start to finish -- full removal of the contaminated materials, new insulation, new drywall installation, priming, and final painting. Mario and his team were professional, communicative, and clearly experienced with this type of remediation work. They properly contained the work areas, protected our floors and furniture throughout the process, and even took care of extra details like the baseboards. The end result looks fantastic, and the whole experience was much smoother than I expected given the scope of the damage. Highly recommend this company for anyone dealing with mold, contamination, or water damage remediation.
