Had my Pool Cage painted -- 1st - A Man and son arrive in an unmarked truck ( nothing said white…read moreglove painting - so was contracted out) They would show up at 9:30 - 10am break at 12 -came back by 1:30 and would leave at 3:30 -Tuesday thru Friday - They did an OK job at painting the cage = but the over spray was everywhere - over the covered patio and stained the red brick white - I was told by owner that they would cover pool -but they did not - leaving the top of the pool covered in white - The owner did hire a Pool Company to clean it on Saturday and they did not show up til Tuesday, and they cracked a pipe on the pool filter and tried to cover it up with tape. I would never use or recommend White Glove Painting!!

Chance was always there to answer my text and or emails. However, the work itself was awful. Everything from the kitchen was suppose to be individually cleaned and placed into a box due to the toxicity of the fire smut. However everything was just tossed (literally) into boxes. Broken glassware among other things. Some items were just placed in random spots in the garage. I've been finding them for 4 months now. Nothing was cleaned well, most items still had the powder from the fire extinguisher. Staples were left in the wall, crown molding was damaged, paint was damaged from the tape used, and the adhesive was left on wall & floors. After everything was said and done, the toxicity test still showed an elevated level. All that being said, when I contacted a claim adjuster they said they heard of fides, and he does great work, just not for fires. Which was my experience.

Added recessed lighting, new fan and new lights with dimmers. They have an in house electrician and a large crew of drywall specialists. So there's no waiting for someone to come finish the job in stages. My house was vacant during all of this and yes, the popcorn removal is a big messy job. But when they were finished, OMG you'd never know they were here. The ceiling looks amazing. Demi took about a week and is also perfect. Electrician moved the light switch and the vanity light spot. I cant say enough about Jack Doucette, the owner. He really cares about you. He even gets his hands dirty. My neighbors saw them at my house and hired them too. Just do it! At this time, the painter and I found many other areas where poor paint coverage were discovered. Now less than 1 year later there are more areas where paint is peeling on the walls, soffit, and facia. I recommend you do not hire The Captains Painter. They did very poor preperation and painting work at my home. I am no hiring another contractor to repaint the areas that are peeling. This is very disappointing.
