I needed to have a personalized approach to the important details that can make or break a kitchen cabinetry layout, design and installation. My project was not limited to the cabinetry. They created my customized island and installed trim work throughout my remodeled spaces. To my delight the referral to "Associated Cabinetmakers" provided a perfect fit. And they were competitively priced. I find that working with contractors can present a challenge and I say that as a kitchen and bath designer. This team more than satisfied my "must have" criteria. Communications were open and constructive. The semi custom product, Conestoga out of Pennsylvania, arrived in shop as scheduled and my installation process was a consecutive day process without interruptions. Sure, there will be a few tweaks, expect that and roll with it. Kitchen and bath cabinetry is a major design component in your space. Cabinetry is more than functionality and storage. The style, scale and structural form should be harmonious with the aesthetic and flow you want to feel in your home. Know your budget parameters for the overall vision you want to achieve. I suggest you have preliminary drawings, appliance specs and the sink/s specs available for the bidding process. Listen to the cabinetmaker's suggestions and get a feel for their demeanor. I guess in the future I need to just do everything myself and figure it all out because trying to get help or a service is expensive. Specially if you live in Jupiter Florida.
