This is not the auto shop for minor repairs or for people who have to watch their budget. My car stopped. I thought it was my alternator. The battery didn't seem to be holding a charge. I had taken out and had it tested and the auto parts place had told me I needed a new alternator. I had Pheonix come and get it. They were quick and responsive and all I needed was a new battery that ended up costing me 782 dollars after towing and the 149 dollar diagnostic. I would use them again for any MAJOR issue, but I'll never return for anything I even suspect is a minor repair. Nearly a thousand bucks for a battery seems excessive.

Not showy, very humble, been a mechanic all his life.. works alone in that great big building which is like a toy box to him. While he was checking out my car, I noticed a couple of old, old, old vintage cars in his garage. I felt confident after speaking to him about my ignition problem and I felt confident that if someone was going to "allow" him to work on those old vintage cars, then someone else has a lot of confidence in him, as well.... He gave me a price, which was workable.. showed me the price on the computer, so he didn't beef up the price.. Handled my car quickly and efficiently and had me out the door in no time. YES, I would highly recommend this guy over anyone else I have met in East Nashville. Honest, humble, not out to make a fortune off you.
