Dr. Streit takes the time to actually listen to your concerns. He has helped my bearded dragon and all of my dogs. He is kind and gentle with your furbaby and even your not so furry babies. He does charity events to help animals and even took care of a bird on his vacation. All Creatures stays open later in the evenings than other vet offices and they have a call service should you need help when their office is closed. The office staff is the absolute best. Mimi, Lenore and Kelly are some of the best people I have ever met. They love your pet too and will work to get you an appointment or your pet prescriptions refilled as fast as possible They understand that you love your pet and do all they can to make your visit quick and safe. All Creatures used to be the best vet center around. They were caring, and loved all animals. Now, all they care about is the almighty dollar in their pocket! I had been a client there in the past, and one of my animals got sick suddently and I called for an emergency appointment. I had not been to their facility in quite some time, not owning any animals for a while. When I called and gave the receptionist my info, I was told that I owed a bill from 5 years ago! I told her that I could not have had. She argued with me. I told her I would go ahead and pay it, because they were the only vet opened at that time in the evening, and my pet needed care at that moment. She said ok, and put me on hold for a few minutes. Then she came back on the line, and told me not only did I have to pay the amount stated (under $100), but I also had to pay collection fees ( I NEVER got a bill, a call, a collection letter, anything) and interest on the bill, totaling up to quite a large sum of money, which I did not have. My pet was denied treatment, and I feel that this is wrong! I will no longer send anyone there, which I have in the past when people ask me which vet to use. If you care about your pets, find another place. These people only want your money, and thats the bottom line! read more
