I needed to move in last minute but the landlord backed out of cleaning the place first. I never dealt with roaches before but I had dead ones everywhere when I moved in. I went to yelp and placed 5 quotes to various area cleaning services. They all were complicated and charged by the hours and extra for stuff. I just wanted to know how much and when can they do it. Marian C. the owner responded with a single price and did zero sales bull. Only downside was she said Saturday would be cleaning day but she had to cancel til Tuesday. It was worth it... My place smells clean and I can actually put stuff in my kitchen now... My oven was GROSS before.. now spotless. Thank you Maids around Chicago! I will come back. Price ain't bad too. I show the guy trash that I could pick up myself in an hour of work (which I'll be doing now), they increase the price from $265 to $500! For trash! The guy looks in the toilet. Says he can't clean it, doesn't have the right products. I ordered a deep clean! How do you not have strong cleaners?? Absolutely abysmal! Wasted an entire morning waiting for this too. Never again. Now excuse me while I clean my own unit as these people couldn't be bothered to. Update: In response to the owners reply, almost everything she said is false. I told the guy who showed up that I was told there'd be two people and he said "Oh really?" I stared at the clock and this guy started LOOKING at the bathroom at 12:30--after an 11 am appt confirmation and the owner calling around 11 to say the guy would be 15 minutes late. We "negotiated" for about 5 minutes after they decided cleaning an hour's worth of trash is equal to $235--doctors at don't even get paid that. There were no "feces" around the toilet, just urine stains--pretty standard. Feel free to use this service and find out for yourself though. I'm done with them. Literally just picked up all the trash in my kitchen in 10 mins--wow, so difficult. Get real.

The Company has fantastic protocols in place (masks, gloves, etc.) We then purchased a place and hired them to help with the move cleaning (deep cleaning our new place and professional cleaning the old place). Could not recommend them more highly! They were flexible on timing (cleaned one place on a Saturday and the other on a Tuesday) and their pricing was incredibly competitive (considering what other companies wanted to charge). I love Spotless Cleaning - I have used them for over 4 years between Evanston and Chicago, and…read morewould highly recommend them. My service has been a recurring, once every two week cleaning, for a 2 bedroom unit. All the employees who have cleaned my units have been fantastic. Not only do they do a super job cleaning, but they are also very respectful, nice, and kind. I've never had a trust issue - I've always felt very comfortable, having left valuables (and cash) out without a problem. Once, when I found a pair of expensive eye glasses with a small piece of the lens broken and reported it, I got a call directly from the owner that night just to give me peace of mind that whatever the cost was, they would pay for it. It ended up still being covered under warranty, but I really appreciated that he called just to put me at ease so I didn't stress about it. The best aspect has been the customer service - the email reminders have been fantastic, and whenever I ask to reschedule, they always have accommodated me. The staff is always responsive and tries to be as helpful as possible. I never worry at all about scheduling. Just like any firm - they are great at some things (e.g. customer service, trust), but are not built to do everything well. With scheduling, they sometimes come early (or late) by an hour or two. I scheduled all my cleanings during work hours, and have left a key with them (or the doorman), so it's never an issue for me. I think they might be a bit more pricey than a local maid - but for me, I enjoy having the peace of mind of a flat rate, reliability and trust, great customer service, and not having to deal with paying & filing taxes. Would highly recommend them!
