We've been going to this guy for years. He's always friendly and a fun character. He has a lot of different hobbies. He has large model planes hanging in the garage and he also works on and plays guitar. He does an efficient job smogging our vehicles. We are in and out of his place quickly. I love that! His prices are comparable to most other places. read more

Smooth, quick, and basic. In and out in 20 min. I called first and had a solid conversation and it was a quick and positive interaction.

I came here for my third time to get my STAR station smog check for DMV vehicle registration renewal. I showed up at 10 AM on a Tuesday without an appointment. There was one person ahead of me, so I had to wait about 15 minutes for my turn and then another 15 minutes for my vehicle to be done. For my car it was $41.75 for the smog check + $8.25 for the state certificate = $50 even. It came out to $40 when I used the Yelp discount. About as cheap as you can get, from what I've found, which is why I keep coming back. read more

We all need smog tests and certification every few years. I go to All Autos Smog in Vista because it is owned by an individual, he can test your car pretty quickly, and he has the Best price in this area. The testing is all the same, so why pay more? Call and get an appointment - get it taken care of fast. I'm continuing to take my smog test business to All Autos Smog in Vista. read more

Fast + easy: Called ahead, drove there, in and out in under 15 minutes. Efficient at processing customers to limit wait times when multiple customers are present. Price: Called numerous other smog locations - this is the best price around for a STAR certified smog test. Highly recommend and will only be getting smog testing done here from now on. read more

Was looking for a place to get my fiancee's car smog for California and most business' on a Sunday were closed. However, via yelp this place was available on Sunday till 5pm. After, reading a handful of reviews on this place, I decided to give this place a try and I called before heading over there since some of the reviews mentioned that this place closes early at random times. I'm so glad I called first because the owner mentioned that he was done for the day at 3pm and will be closing early. And he wasn't busy at all so there is an opening to get a smog check/ certificate and he had mentioned to come asap. Upon arrival this is a small business. 1 large garage and 1 small waiting area. The waiting area even though small it was clean and had cable TV. There was one person ahead of myself but they were about done and within 5 mins the technician began his process for smog check. Within 10 to 15 mins we were out the door. Car smog with smog certificate ready all for $41.76 with yelp check-in. will definitely refer this place but a note before coming make sure to call first because of random early business closure. read more

Unfortunately the young gentleman that was there on Sunday morning was not able to help me out. He made up some excuse that didn't make sense at all to me. I left and went to" A Smog testing " where they were able to help me out within minutes no problem. This review is based on the gentleman's attitude and lack of service not in the establishment, he said he works on Sunday only so maybe give them a try during the other days? read more

Came in again and they really go above and beyond here. I hate being that guy that comes in last minute before close but I needed to get it smogged before leaving the country and pay registration. The issue why it wasn't done sooner was that the car stays at a families house I only visit so often and I live in another county. This shop came in clutch, took me in, got it checked and I was out. They were super friendly. read more

Getting you car smogged can be such a pain. Hidden fees, inconsistent work, or poor attitudes. Not at All Autos Smog. I take all my cars here and are extremely happy with them. read more

Too bad I didn't see the other comments about the kid working Sunday...refused to smog a factory Volkswagen TDI. I explained the car came factory with turbo (TDI) but refused to smog anyways. Waste of time read more

Don't bring your older cars to this location as the smog tech has no clue as to what he is doing. Not only did he get the part number wrong during my smog, but he had the audacity to ask that I pay for ANOTHER smog because HE made a mistake. His handling of the smog was so ignorant that I whole heartedly believed he got incorrect information, which led me to finding the correct info...stamped on the part...in plain view. He disregarded the fact that he made the mistake and asked me to pay for it. Don't waste your time here...even if he does have a coupon. Pay the extra to get a better tech that will do a good job the FIRST time. read more

Came in at 9 AM on a weekday after a place down the street didn't open on time... No wait, answered my endless questions, quelled all my concerns, seriously hooked me up on one issue, and I was out way faster than expected. Did I mention they do transfers and other DMV stuff? Sure, there's a charge, but it's not the DMV. I'm recommending them to my whole office, which is a couple miles away. read more

I did not need an appt. and went to the Vista location. I needed to have a Star Certified Smog Check this time for my DMV renewal. Always fast, always fair, and always competitively priced! If you need a STAR-certified SMOG station, this is your place! A little off the beaten path, but well worth the few extra minutes drive. Sent my daughter here to get her vehicle smogged. Was apprehensive sending my daughter alone, didn't want her to be taken advantage of. So many places have coupons, but after you are at their shop and they smog your vehicle, you are suddenly charged an exorbitant fee. All Autos Smog was probably the best shop we could have picked! The shop was clean, nicely decorated with comfortable seating. The gentleman working the shop was very courteous. My daughter was given the coupon price even through she didn't remember her coupon. The smog was completed in probably 15 minutes. Other major plus, is All Autos Smog is open 7-days a week! Can't say enough good things about this shop :-) read more

Quick and easy smog for my registration renewal. Drove right up and got great friendly service.

Moving to San Diego has been quite a learning experience. All these new fees and laws just to get your car registered with the state has been such a hassle. Luckily my fiance' has been such a big help through this process. We came here to All Autos Smog via yelp. Since it was a high rated business that was open on Sunday. We called to make sure this place was still open and thank God we called because they were closing earlier. We made our way there and it is a small shop with a garage and a waiting area/office. The technician was already busy with a car ahead of us but quickly acknowledge our presence. As soon as he was done with the technician quickly brought in my car for a smog test. My fiance and I waited in the office which has a TV, small area, but clean; and within 15 mins the technician was done got my first smog certificate and paid a great price with yelp check-in. Fast and friendly service. Will definitely refer and recommend this business. read more
