All American Smog Test - Passed with flying colors! - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Westminster, California

Quick and easy place to get a smog check. I've been here 3 times as a happy repeated customer. On average, I'd get in and out in 20 minutes, except for the last time when there was a line of 3 cars on a Monday. That was funny seeing a line at a smog check place. Got a coupon from their website, and I paid $40 for the smog check and certificate. read more

Getting your vehicle smogged is one of those things you just need to get done, usually at the last moment because you just noticed you need it to get tags. Well I was recommended to ANS smog by Sunrise Automotive who repair all my vehicles, and I'd much rather get a recommendation if I can. I wasn't disappointed, the place was very clean, tidy, and the techs helpful and friendly. I was in and out of here in under 30 minutes. What more can you ask...recomended ! read more

July 5, 2021 I was the only customer and technician would not quote a price for my vehicle after 3 requests. He finally said $46, but charged $63 after 10 minute test. The trick is to add "certificate fee and reporting to State DMV fee" after quoting a lower price. Won't be back . Good luck! read more

Been going to this place for years with all my family's vehicles. James has always been amazing, he's not very talkative but no BS get the work done type. If there's a problem he's always point it out for me to get it fixed. Today there's a new guy working, he's a complete anal. Keep telling me my car a Toyota Venza is a truck and want to charge me extra (their policy specificly said extra for SUV, truck and Vans) I told him its a wagon or crossovers but not a truck and he can just Google it. This guy is a complete idiot and refused to smog my car if I don't pay the extra. I went out of my way to get my car smog at this place because of the previous experiences but not anymore. If you smog at this place make sure you asked if extra charge will be applied and avoid this idiot if James not there. read more

3 years later and I still have PTSD about going to a smog check place. Had to log back in to make sure I don't go back to the same one. Dismayed to see they removed my photos (proof that I was a customer there. Here they are again but I'm sure they will remove them again. Dismayed to see that they got my review placed under the not recommend section. I hope James is not still working there or has learned not to make advances toward the customers and that women who go alone will wait outside not sit inside the waiting area. read more

Quick in and out service. They allow a retest if you don't pass and can't beat the rate $33 with coupon just search online.

I found this place through Yelp, and they didn't disappoint. David one of the managers was super personable! Everything was quick and easy and I was in-and-out in about 30 minutes. The waiting room was neat and clean and at the end of my visit David made some suggestions on things my car could use in the future. Thats not surprising since its a typical upsale tactic, what was pleasantly surprising was that David took the time to explain why i needed what i did and didn't put any pressure on me to make the sale. I really like working with these kind of shops and with these awesome pleasant people. read more

Quick and easy! Fair prices. Look online for coupon. Really saved me time and money employee was very nice and considerate

Hands down the best smog place around. I have four cars and I'm always switching out for something new so it seems like I'm always getting a smog done. The guy that works here is awesome, he's quick and knowledgeable. For those that don't know, some smogs aren't as easy as just plugging in the machine. DON'T GO TO THIS PLACE! This place is out to rip you off. I came here for a smog check, the guy got in my car and drove it into the test area and they tested my car with the check vacuum lines to sensors /switches, knowing it would fail.i just buy the car 2 week ago . And I text it before I buy .Then the guy come to me say if I want they fix it so they charge over , i say no.....but he keep up sale , he can do for me $80 so...however I pay $29.99 and walk away ( but I have coupon only $26.75) .....next day i to Gustafson brother Inc in Huntington Beach and passed the smog check , Don't go to this place guy ! read more

I arrived at 8:30 and the owner arrived about 10 minutes late. But wow did he make up for lost time. I think I was out the door within 20 minutes which is quick for a smog test. Difficult to describe other than he's just concerned with getting your smog test done. read more

All American Smog Test - Super comfy couch :) - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Westminster, California

I'd been hesitating to do my smog check this year...For some odd reason for my car, I always have to do it 2-3 times until it passes. The last 2 years I spent over $140 just to take the dang thing. I called around this morning to see how much they are charging for smog check, right around my area Irvine/Newport was $69.99 plus $8.25 for my Z4 2005. I was heading over to Westminster today, why not do my smog check there. I came across a coupon for $26.75 + $8.25 for the certificate off smogtips.com and I called the shop. He was super helpful and honors the coupon for my car. I don't know what the difference between smoging an American, Japanese, and European car is...and that why some places makes a huge deal in charging $10-$20 more for a nicer car. It's such a dumb thing to do. I came in to do my smog check. There was one person in front of me and it took about 15-20 minutes and I was all done. I PASSED everything! YAY, super excited! I paid $35 total. Super fast and everything went smoothly. read more

- The guy doing the test is really nice. - A coupon from here: http://www.smogtips.com/business_detail.cfm?VendorID=15772 gets your total to $35 for the test and certificate (I had a Honda Civic, I think it costs a little more for SUVs). - The test is really quick, 15-20 mins. - Simple waiting area, and he didnt try to upsell any other service. Highly recommend this place to anyone who needs their car smogged. read more

Printed out a coupon - 1995 snd older is $10 more. No problem with that. When I got to the shop they said they didn't have the equipment to test my 1995 BMW. FYI - Came here for a smog test 7/09/18 and they are no longer STAR CERTIFIED. So if you need star certified smog check, don't bring your car here. Very cheap and fast and efficient... Coupon $30 or $40 for trucks and vans ...I don't think they do RVs.. They don't rip you off...from my experience white/caucasian american companies in terms of smog or auto shops etc. are always overcharging and ripping customers off (not being racist but it's true)...the staff don't talk much nor do they need to....prices are cheap with coupon ...why are people complaining that they don't talk much???? Also, if you fail u get a free retest...... read more
