I was looking for a great deal to get my 2012 vehicle smog checked and ended up coming back to Beach Smog Check. They offer a $20 discount for 2000+ vehicles. Just mention you saw the coupon on Yelp or online. No appointment is needed, which made it even more convenient. I stopped by on a weekday around 9:00 AM, and there was no line. I was greeted right away by Angel, who made the entire process easy. He gave clear instructions from start to finish and kept everything moving smoothly. There are two waiting areas: an indoor lounge with a couch and a small beverage station and a covered outdoor seating area. I was excited to see one of my favorite sodas, Mountain Dew Baja Blast, in the fridge! They also have a Keurig for coffee, which would be nice in the morning, although the coffee station looked a little dusty, so I decided to skip it. They definitely lived up to their promise. I was in and out in about 15 minutes, my MDX passed, and Angel explained that my smog certificate would be electronically sent to Sacramento within about 30 minutes. Woo hoo! As a nice bonus, if you pass, they give you a free car wash card at H2Go, which was a pleasant surprise. The shop can service two cars at a time, and everything was clean, organized, and efficient. Great customer service, great value, and a hassle-free experience. I'll definitely be back the next time my smog check is due. See you next year! read more

Beach Smog - Got the Truck smogged - Smog Check Stations Near Me - Huntington Beach, California

It was very fast. It was very precise and very accommodated. Nice people I want to do business with them.

Fake coupons!!! Had to leave when I heard the real cost of their SMOG. The shop was completely empty however the guy there insisted their price is $65 after $20 coupon/ discount. He even literally said they also accept tips, stating "it is lunch time so we accept tips as well". They didn't bother seeing me leave, as I guess they just work their not the owners. The area is full of better SMOG shops that only do it for $40-50 without claiming fake coupons. Really disappointing!!! read more

I requested smog information via Yelp and they immediately responded; very professional and friendly. No appointment needed, I showed up pulled into one of their bays... Carly walked me through the entire process and I was in and out within 15 minutes. She was super friendly and very detailed with the entire process. Angel and Chin were the technicians and were super friendly, competent, and quick! I barely had time to drink a water before it was time to go. And, a cool perk getting your smog certificate there is they give you a free local car wash. Also, your certification goes straight to the DMV but they give you a copy of all the reports just in case you need it. So easy, so quick, very professional. Highly recommend this place. Price wise, they are all about the same but you get the free car wash when you go here and top-notch service! read more

I don't know why, but where to take my car to get smogged always turns into an annoying research project, and I've never been back to the same place twice. I'd never been to Beach Smog, but I'm so glad I went there. All the typical things the negative reviewers complained about, I was worried about as well. But they were not issues at all at Beach Smog and before you ask, I was not asked to leave this review The two employees who helped me were super friendly, both made me feel welcome, they honored the discounted Yelp price with no extra coupons, they offered me refreshments and a big comfy chair, and best of all, they were done before I could even finish my text. They even walked me through the final registration process and when my smog check results would be received by the DMV. Last but not least, they gave me a free car wash voucher to take with me since my car had already been washed a couple of days ago. This is 100% "MY" new smog check place! Great job Beach Smog!!! read more

8-22-2025. This is only the third time I've ever had a smog check. So happy that I took my car to this establishment. Alexander responded to my request on yelp and informed me that they're open all 7 days from 8am 6pm. So convenient. I got there about 2:55pm and my smog was done within 12 min. I only paid $65 and got a certificate for a free car wash up the street - valid for a month. I had an outstanding experience here. This a drive thru smog station with awesome customer service. The service is quick and the guys are personable. Comfy seats and coffee, sodas or water while you. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a smog check. read more
