I was in the Garden Grove area having breakfast with a friend and decided to get my biennial smog check on the way home. Shop owner Johnny is so friendly and cool, and he has such great energy. The smog check process itself was so quick and seamless. Waiting room area is clean and peaceful. They accept card but charge a small transaction fee, so bring cash if you can! Friendly, quick, and informative! I came on a Saturday morning at 8:35 AM and Johnny serviced me immediately. Gave him my keys and he took care of the rest. I relaxed in the waiting room and did a few workouts on the exercise equipment. The area was pleasant, clean, and organized. Smog test took around 10-15 minutes and cost $50 dollars if paid in cash. Card is accepted but with a transaction fee. He let me know the smog test was transmitted to the DMV, but I'd have to wait until Monday for processing since it was the weekend. It was my first time getting a Smog Test myself and the whole experience was not as intimidating as I thought it would be. Overall, great place! read more

I later learned from him that older cars take at least 30min to 1hr to smog which is why most places won't do it. The price was the most reasonable and he took good care of the car. Long story short, I needed to switch out a certain type of intake to swapping it with a new intake in order to smog, if ya know what i mean, then ya know.
