The experience ended with over 10 one-of-a-kind pieces of furniture severely damaged, the walls in my new-build house completely scratched up, and zero accountability from All-American Movers. TL;DR: I was stood up and couldn't reach anyone at the company to find out what was going on. I still haven't heard from them. They kinda screwed me. I called these guys a few weeks before the move and scheduled them for 9am, then called a few days before the big day to confirm. Everything seemed ready to go, but the day-of they were a no call/no-show. I called, but no on answered, and they never returned my messages. I also emailed, with no response. At 1, after absolutely no contact from these guys, I ended up having to find a different company who could do a same-day move. Terrible customer service. We booked with them on Tuesday for a Saturday move. I told them I'd need two guys for two hours and they scheduled me for noon. At 12:30 when they still weren't at the moving site I called only to get voicemail several times before someone answered. The guy proceeded to tell me that 12-2 was a "window time" and that they would call me when they were on their way. It's currently 2:49pm and we haven't heard from them. Every time I call, I get sent to voicemail. And no one is responding to my yelp messages either. If your time is important to you, choose someone else. This company is a joke!!! Update: 6:15pm and still no call back and they never showed. This is exactly how they run their business and exactly why they shouldn't be in business. We hired All American Movers to move us into our new home earlier this year. First of all, their quote came in way less than others that we asked for quotes. When we contacted them, Shawn, was very good at responding to us for scheduling, etc. There are NO hidden fees with All American Movers. What you are quoted is what you pay for! On moving day the crew showed up on time as expected. They worked very quickly. Furniture was wrapped and cared for as one would expect. The crew was also very polite and friendly. During the move we had a table top that got a little banged up in the process. I think this is something to be expected that *could* happen during a move so I wasn't bent out of shape about it. The important part is that the crew took pictures, and took responsibility for the damage. Shawn, then had his wood repair man come out and he did an awesome job in repairing the table top. Overall I am satisfied with Shawn and his team at All American Movers. Most of all, I am satisfied with the customer service and follow up on the damages. read more

If you're looking for a reliable moving company, I suggest you look anywhere but here. I recently had to move from Texas to Parker, CO and it was an absolute mess thanks to these guys. My wife received a job offer in Parker very suddenly, so we had to move within 3 weeks. The very first thing I did was attempt to set up movers for both states. When I first spoke with All American Movers, I spoke with a lady at their office who confirmed our time, took all my information, and set up an unloading service for 29th of August at 12PM. I called them twice more between that few week window to make sure everything was set for my move date, and each time she assured me that I was on the schedule and ready to go. Fast-forward to the 26th, just a few days before my move. I called them once again to ask a few more questions, only to be sent directly to a full inbox. I then sent multiple e-mails to try and contact them that way, still no response. I had to drive 15 hours straight to make it in to town by 10AM, the 29th. Once again I attempted to contact them once I made it in to Parker, and of course was greeted by the same full mailbox message. I then sent ANOTHER email to them in hopes to hear they were on their way, only for Shawn to e-mail me at 12PM exactly to say that I was never even on their schedule! As you can imagine, I was absolutely livid. Shawn asked me to send him my phone number so he could contact me and see what he could do (Spoiler, he never called me.) So, here I was in Parker with my trailer loaded with stuff and been awake 30 hours straight, scrambling to figure out what to do. Thankfully, I got in contact with a moving company called Parker Movers LLC, and they were able to send 3 guys out to help me on the very same day and get my trailer unloaded. They moved all my stuff in an hour and didn't damage a thing. They were also a bit cheaper, too, so I suppose it was a blessing in disguise. Anyway, just based off some of the reviews I've read and my own experience, this company is just a complete mess. It seems I'm not the only one they stood up or just completely stopped communicating with. Do yourself a favor, moving is already stressful enough... He did not show up, did not call to explain something had happened. I called and left a message (a polite one) asking if something had happened and requesting a call back. Shawn helped us move from CO to CA a couple weeks ago and we couldn't have asked for a friendlier and more professional guy. With that said, we felt at ease leaving all our belongings with Shawn to drive over 1,000 miles while hauling a car behind the truck. We're thankful none of our items were damaged during the move nor were there any damages moving out of the old place and into our new home. Here are a few things to know. 1) Shawn will set a time with you over the phone to view your place and give you an estimate. He works with your schedule and your budget. 2) Whatever he quotes you is exactly what you pay and not a penny more. 3) Able to haul vehicles 4) Items you need protected and don't know how to pack can be cover with furniture blankets and wrapped. (For example: We have a glass/mirrored vanity and didn't know how to pack it. Shawn and his guys took care of it the day of and there is not a single scratch on it) 5) He will help you disassemble and reassemble your furniture 6) Most likely won't put your propane tanks or motor oil in the moving truck 7) Accepts cash, checks and credit cards 8) If moving out of state- the guys who help you load your truck aren't the same guys who will unload. So please have tip ready both times. 9) As the movers unload things into your new home they will ask where you want every box, furniture, etc. (This is key people!) 10) Shawn personally drives the truck and gives you an update every day until move-in. 11) His guys are very polite. They kept calling me "ma'am"! I can definitely appreciate well mannered men. I do want to mention- these guys bust their butts helping people move their heavy belongings. Please provide them with water bottles and/or Gatorade. And no, I wasn't asked to say that. I can't say enough nice things about Shawn and his guys. If you're looking for movers- give him a call and you won't be disappointed. P.S. Shawn- if you're reading this. Thanks again for all your help. These guys did a great job on a tough move for me. It was a very long, hot day. And they protected everything I owned, and listened and to anything I asked from them. The only little glitch was the obvious disappointment in the amount of a tip I gave at the end. It was $50 for two guys. It could have been bigger, but I think that being grateful for a tip is a better approach. They mentioned that they would appreciate a gratuity right from the start, so they make it a big deal. But even with that, I would definitely hire them again because of the job they did. read more

I had a great experience moving with Shawn and All American Movers. I was moving apartments by myself so I called All American Movers and he called me back right away and booked the time in for a Friday move. He was great at communicating over the phone. I changed the time on him to later and he was totally accommodating. He ran a little late for our appt. time and called me, but i was running late checking in to my new apartment and getting keys too, so it worked out perfectly. They moved me extremely quickly and carefully! They are great communicators and they wrapped up my furniture with plastic wrap to prevent damage. Very disappointing. I received a quote from Shawn. After a few emails, we agreed on a date and time. He asked for my load and unload address and I thought everything was all set. Before the move, I had a couple more questions, but he did not reply to multiple emails and multiple phone calls over several days. I have no idea what happened. If I didn't have more questions, I would have been waiting for him on moving day and he would have been a no show. And the people moving into our house would not have been able to move in, because we did not move out. I saw a woman left the same type of review on Yelp. Shawn replied and said "This is by no means the way we run our business. I have no idea how this happened." I accepted that it was a true accident, but now that it has happened to me and probably countless other times, I realize the reply on Yelp was just a "show" and not authentic. Shawn and Steve did a great job with my local move in Parker. They were fast, efficient, hard-working and careful when moving my fragile belongings. It was easy to arrange for my move; all it took was an email to Shawn via the website to request a quote and find out available dates. After that, I contacted Shawn to confirm both by phone and email, which he responded promptly to confirm/reconfirm my move date and time. Shawn and Steve arrived on time the day of my move. Working quickly, they carefully wrapped all of my furniture and associated glass tabletops and shelving with protective padding, which ensured these items would not be damaged during the move. They disassembled my entertainment center and dismounted my large-screen TV, which they carefully wrapped in protective padding and then packed on the truck for the move. In moving several unwanted pieces of furniture outside of my home, my neighbors were able to swing-by for an easy pick-up the same day of my move, which was great. Once they arrived at my new home, they made quick work of moving my furnishing into place. They were able to negotiate moving some large furniture through some tight spots, which could have easily been a show-stopper with other movers. All-in-all, my move was successfully accomplished within the time and cost quoted by Shawn. I would recommend using All American Movers, and will be giving them a call for my next move be it local or interstate. read more

Absolutely terrible. Late to pick up and drop off. Damaged items, even water damage to my dresser. Terrible communication, I had to all every 2-4 days to see where my stuff was and yes I waited until after the 10 day delivery window, they didn't deliver until day 21. They called me 6 hours before they were coming to drop my stuff off when they were suppose to call me 24-48 hours. Also super weird that they want cash for such large transactions!!! I made sure the driver signed a piece of paper stating he received my payment. I wish I could get my pictures to load because my boxes were crushed. I wrote largely Fragile and that was one of the most crushed boxes. 4 broken totes! They made it very clear they were wreck-less with my belongings. Shawn contacted us after a yelp request for moving help. He was quick on his quote, and very professional. We set the appointment for a Saturday. The crew got tied up on a previous job, and were a bit late. The two movers, Nate and DJ, were apologetic, and got to work right away. They worked great together as a team, and the work went quickly. DO NOT USE ALL AMERICAN MOVERS! YOU WILL BE HORRIBLY DISSATISFIED AND MOST LIKELY END UP PAYING FOR DAMAGED FURNITURE YOURSELF! I'm writing this review about All American Movers. I have known Shawn Marzak for several years and we have used him in the past with only a few small problems that Shawn has taken care of immediately. He has now become impossible to get in touch with and the level of service his company provides is horribly unprofessional and terribly subpar. We recently had our daughter moved from one location to another several miles away on August 3rd of 2019. It has been unbelievably difficult to impossible getting a hold of anyone from All American Movers. All you can do is leave a message and they do not call back. Finally after leaving dozens and dozens of  messages I got a hold of Shawn and got the appointment set up for August 3rd. Somewhere around 2 weeks before August 3rd, Shawn was nowhere to be found. He would not answer the phone or no one from his office would call back until almost the move date. On the move date of August 3rd Shawn did not show up at the move site and only his brother and another helper showed up. His brother's name is Chris and he said that Shawn was in the hospital with pneumonia and had been there for about three weeks. During the move Chris was so uncoordinated as to how to load the furniture on the truck and he kept telling me that he was sick. We asked to have a mattress wrapped to avoid it getting dirty and they partially wrapped it but it did get grease all along the edge. Chris just said sorry about that. I finally had to help them load the last 25% of the truck and when we arrived at the location, we discovered that they had broken off a foot pedal of a player piano. Chris said that he would have it replaced and repaired by a friend of his by the name of Tito. This excuse went on for several weeks. I have since called the many numbers of All American Movers including Chris's cell number trying to get this piano fixed along with two other pieces of furniture and a grill that we discovered damaged. They keep telling me it will be fixed and they have excuse after excuse after excuse about when the part will be here who's going to put it in and when the piano will be fixed. It is now September 10th and the piano is not fixed along with the other pieces of furniture and I have yet to have a phone call from the owner, Shawn Marzak. He did text me on September 8, 2019 and said that he would call me in 10 minutes, but like with all other phone calls and promises from All American Movers, he never got back in touch with me. I tried to call the hospital where Chris, his brother said he was staying, and they have absolutely no record of him ever being there. So that tells me that Chris was being deceitful when he said Shawn was in the hospital with pneumonia. When I pressed Chris to find out where Shawn was at, as I had called the hospital and he was not there or was never there, he said it was none of my "damn" business where Shawn was. I and all the others on Yelp and All American Movers website that have given reviews, say the same thing, that they are virtually impossible to get a hold of and they do not return texts or phone calls and they do not replace or repair the things they break. So now I am stuck with two pieces of damaged furniture, a busted up grill and a damaged piano player which they said they would fix and have not.  Since the owner Shawn is non-existent, Chris and Shawn's girlfriend Amber are trying to run the business and unfortunately the only thing they're doing is running the business into the ground. My only option now is to contact an attorney and file a lawsuit in small claims court to get them to repair the furniture and the player piano. My advice to you if you're looking for a mover is: DO NOT USE ALL AMERICAN MOVERS! YOU WILL BE HORRIBLY DISSATISFIED AND MOST LIKELY END UP PAYING FOR DAMAGED FURNITURE YOURSELF, IF THEY SHOW UP! read more

Used All American Movers this past weekend in March of 2019. Our move was small but my boyfriend and I were so over moving. Shawn responded to me over Yelp with in minuets. I called the following day and spoke with Cameron booked these guys for a Saturday afternoon. Hector and his two man crew were amazing, sweet and professional. They were ON TIME. Gentle with the items we had them move, and they completed the job in great time. Everyone was so nice and professional I couldn't have asked for a better crew. These guys are great! The move started out badly, as I was expecting them between 1-3pm. Unfortunately, they had a difficult time with a previous client, so then it got moved back to 6pm, then finally 8:30. Of course, it was inconvenient, but the owner, Shawn, was extremely apologetic, added an extra guy free of charge and took 50% off my move! Even though the guys who did the move, Damien, Charles and Dan, probably had a way tougher day than I did, they were extremely pleasant, didn't complain, and moved everything perfectly. We were in a panic called them several times and left 3 messages. No call backs, no apologies, nothing, just ghosted. Save yourself the aggravation and book with someone else. This guy should be shut down for the hassle he is putting families though. It looks like they had great reviews until May. Over the course of more than a week, I corresponded with Shawn and Amber and had confirmed with them a pickup for 9-10am on Sunday morning the 28th, only a few days before my move-out date. After not hearing from them by 10, I called and left a voice message. I called again at 11 and did the same thing. I then left an email. I called again at 12 and 2 and they never responded or got back to me. They completely left me stranded and I was fortunate to find an alternate who was able to fit me in on short notice. It's pretty lousy to put your logistical plans in the hands of a well-rated moving company and have them completely ghost you and cost you two days of work having to work things out because they didn't show. read more

All American Movers saved us! Our previous moving company cancelled 3 days before our move and asked to reschedule a week later which was not an option with our closing date. So we were in a panic to find a mover who could do a long distance move of our 3,000 square foot home with three days notice. Multiple phone calls ensued and nobody could help us out. Then I left a message with our predicament with Shawn the owner of All American Movers. There was no time to do an in house estimate. He trusted my description of the contents of our home and gave me an immediate flat rate quote with no hidden fees, mileage costs or anything else added. The quote beat the previous mover's price. His movers, Dan and Steven arrived exactly on time and were highly efficient packing up a 26 foot truck in great time, with perfect use of space in the truck and they were extremely careful with all of our stuff. We had an unusual amount of delicate art work that was carefully padded and strapped down for the long drive. They drive carefully to our new home over 300 miles away and stayed very late to make sure it was all unloaded in one evening and even helped us move some heavy furniture that was already present in the new home. They worked super hard, were strong enough to handle several very heavy pieces, didn't take a significant break and were cheerful, friendly and offered great advice arranging boxes into neat aisles in the garage so we could see and get to everything after they left. We were extremely happy with them. Shawn the owner was promptly available in the phone when I had questions. We highly recommend these guys for any move you may have planned. The morning we NEEDED the furniture to be moved this company NO CALLED, NO SHOWED, didn't answer the phone for hours and never returned a phone call or showed up. Fact: I called Shawn to schedule a move from a three bedroom townhouse to a four bedroom house on Sunday, 24 April 2016. Confirmed: 9:30am, four men, $149.00 per hour, their biggest truck. Fact: A couple of days later, I called Shawn to ask if he could drive to an additional location to pick up a piano between point A and B. I made sure the time and date were correct. Confirmed. Fact: On Sunday, 24 April at 9:30am, no call no show. At 10:00am, no call no show. Fact: My husband and I begin calling and leaving messages around 10:00 and did not receive a call back for over a half hour. Fact: We were informed that there was a communication error and another move was scheduled before ours but assured they would be there at noon. Fact: The movers arrived in a U-haul truck at 12:20. Only three men came to the job site. Fact: My husband had to haul items in his pick-up truck because they wanted to leave room on the U-haul for the piano. Not all items made it on the trip, some were left for us to get at a later date. Fact: I paid extra for the drive time to go to the additional location only to discover that the piano did not fit. That was left too. Fact: The final bill was almost $1,200. I tipped the movers (collectively) 20% of the bill because they were the only pleasant thing about the move. They worked hard and were incredibly nice. Fact: After speaking with Shawn about the move, he discounted the hourly rate to $125.00 (the standard rate for three men) and after asking him to resolve the situation with the piano, said he would check his schedule and get back to me. Fact: No call, no show. I did my best to keep my emotions out of this review save the auspicious work ethics and attitudes of the actual movers who highly deserve the accolades. read more

All American Movers made our moving day super easy. The team of three guys showed up on time, were professional and friendly, and had our entire move done in four hours. Everything arrived intact and in good condition. They put everything exactly where we wanted it in the new place and set up our furniture for us. This is my first negative review. I always try to work it out with the company but they refuse to take my calls and to correct the damage they have caused. They are the absolute WORST I have ever worked with. They promised to move us out on Friday at 9 am, then showed up on Saturday at 3 pm. When they were to move us back, we had scheduled the date 3 weeks in advance. The day prior to our move-in, their sketchy receptionist said we had to pay her in advance because she wasn't going to be around the day of the move to collect the payment. She told me she would "meet me anywhere to pick up a check in advance so she could go on vacation" before our move back. Essentially, our items were held hostage at their storage facility until we paid her. Unreal. When they finally brought back our furnishings, 2 days after our scheduled date, we were missing 3 new unopened, brand new dishware sets and a broken vase heirloom centerpiece. They refused to compensate me. The movers were great, I tipped them $100 each. The management is awful. read more

It took us 6 months to get the granite repaired by them, and they have not fixed our ping pong table. It is damaged beyond repair. I had three of them for my move; Shawn (the owner), Justin, and Frank. All three were personable, careful, and very hardworking. Over the course of 5 hours, they consistently worked hard, didn't take breaks, and were very respectful of our items and our house. No need to worry about them milking time to make more by the hour. No breaks or slow downs at all, even after a stream of consistently heavy items. During the course of the move, (through no fault of their own) the wind blew over a very inexpensive mirror that was leaning on the side of the truck. As soon as Shawn saw that it had cracked he immediately took $25 off the cost of the move, with the mirror only costing $10 in the first place. So, for Shawn to take action like that showed really great customer service, especially given that they weren't even at fault. Throughout the course of the move, no furniture or items were damaged or scratched. These guys were great at what they did and seemed like genuinely great guys who were very pleasant to talk to. Their pricing was very competitive, and beat out the other two companies I was considering. I will definitely be using them again in the future. read more
